Beta 5

9月15日

Beta 5 is now live on Steam.

Changes:

  • The way locomotives are placed has been reworked and allows more accuracy.
  • Carriages are now attached to the nearest train.
  • The city generation has been slightly modified for each city.
  • An option is now available to skip menu transitions.
  • New assets in Scenic mode are now unlocked when efficiency milestones are reached.
  • The score widget in Scenic mode has been changed, and now shows you how far you have to go until you reach the next efficiency milestone.
The next major feature we're working on is the long-overdue reallocation of locomotives and carriages.

Beta 4: Zen mode!

8月28日

Beta 4 is now live on Steam. The major addition is the first iteration of zen mode.

Changes:

  • Zen mode is now available.
  • Saint Petersburg starts with four tunnels available.
  • The asset panel will lift when the cursor hovers over the handle for half a second.
  • The asset panel can be locked up by clicking on the padlock icon.
  • Score widget has been moved to the top-right.
Fixes:
  • A fallback effect is now used instead of the blur if the original effect is unsupported. If you still have issues during the blur (the blur is used at the changelog, in-game pause menu, and the game-over screen) please let us know.

关于游戏

In Mini Metro, you take on the task of designing the subway layout for a rapidly expanding city. Your city starts with three stations. Draw routes between these stations to connect them with subway lines. Commuters travel along your lines to get around the city as fast as they can. Each station can only hold a handful of waiting commuters so your subway network will need to be well-designed to avoid delays.

The city is growing. More stations are opening, and commuters are appearing faster. The demands on your network are ever-increasing. You'll be constantly redesigning your lines to maximise efficiency. The new assets you earn every week will help immensely — as long as they're used wisely.

Eventually your network will fail. Stations will open too quickly. Commuters will crowd the platforms. How long the city keeps moving is up to you.

Key Features

  • Compelling, constructive, hectic, relaxed gameplay. If that makes sense. It doesn't though, aye? You just gotta play it.
  • Three game modes: Commuter for quick scored games, Scenic for stress-free sandbox play, and Rush Hour for the ultimate challenge. (only Commuter is in so far, Scenic will follow soon)
  • Three real-world cities to design subways for (London, New York City and Paris), with many more being added before release. Each has a unique colour theme, set of obstacles, and pace.
  • Random city growth, so each game plays out differently. A strategy that proved successful last game may not help you in the next.
  • Each game's map is a work of art, built by you in the classic abstract subway style of Harry Beck. If you think it's a keeper, save it, tweet it, show it off or make it your desktop background!
  • Soundtrack by Disasterpeace (well, not quite yet ... but he's working on it!)
  • Colorblind and night modes.
  • Trains! Did we mention them yet?

Demo

You can check out Mini Metro for yourself and play a game on the London map in the demo. The demo uses the Unity webplayer, so you'll need the Unity plugin (Windows and OS X only unfortunately).

这是一个非常小巧而又好玩的游戏!我玩了两天了,终于搞明白大致怎么玩了。

在地图上有一些大符号(圆形,三角形,正方形,扇形,菱形,等等),每一个大符号都表示一个车站。每个车站的旁边会经常刷新出一些小符号,每一个小符号代表着该车站上有一名乘客想前去那个小符号的地点。例如一个三角形符号的旁边有一个圆形小符号和一个扇形小符号,则表示该站点为三角形站点,该车站上有一名乘客想前往任何一个圆形车站,还有一名乘客想前往扇形车站,以此类推。你所要做的事情就是在各个车站上拉出地铁线路,满足这些乘客的要求,随着游戏的慢慢推进,会刷新出一波一波的新站点,每个新站点都会刷新出很多乘客,你需要随时调整线路和车辆的投放,以便于满足所有乘客的需求,若是某个车站长时间堆积了很多不能满足欲望的乘客,则游戏失败。

该游戏中一共有四大要素:线路(line);机车(locomotive);车厢(Carriage);隧道(tunnel)。这四大要素都是有限制的,你不能无限制建造。在游戏内时间每过一周,就会送你一辆机车,然后在剩余三个要素里,让你选择其一进行提升上限。

然后我们来介绍一下这四大要素的用途:
线路(line),就像我们平时乘坐地铁有一号线,二号线那样,游戏中可以建设多条不同的线路,一开始你仅仅只能建设三条线路,到了后期可以慢慢提升线路总数的上限。
机车(locomotive),每当你建设一条新地铁时,至少要占用一部机车,这部机车将会在这条线路里来回往返接送乘客。游戏一开始给了你三条线路和三部机车,刚好一条线路对应一部机车。当然,你也可以只建设一条地铁,然后将三部机车都拖拉至那条线路中,这样也行,但是当你建设第二条地铁时就会提示你机车不足,地铁虽然建设完毕,但是无法跑起来。每隔一周将会送你一辆额外的机车,请小心摆放,某些长线跑一次要很久,多部机车比较保险。
车厢(Carriage),每一部机车最大能运送6名乘客,车厢你可以理解为扩展的车厢编组,可以挂在机车的后方,每一节车厢能够让该机车多运载6名乘客。即,一部机车能运6名乘客,一部机车外挂2个车厢后会变成三节编组的机车,最多能同时运载18名乘客,多节编组的机车很爽,能让一些挤压了很久的站点得到瞬间释放。
隧道(tunnel),地图上通常都有河流,当你的地铁每穿越一次河流时,就要占用一个隧道资源。

游戏基本玩法就是这样了,最后再给两点提示:
1.轨道可以设计成循环轨道,即始发站和终点站为同一个站点,这样机车就不会来回往返跑,而是循环跑了
2.一条轨道无法纵向穿越另一条轨道通行,除非它们的交叉点是一个共用站点

游戏挺不错,建立地铁线路拉人,每过7天还会增加新的道具,线路、火车、车厢、隧道等.
不过地图有点少,自带简中(不完全).
现在还是测试阶段,希望以后会更好吧

玩了一个多小时,大概知道了游戏规则。每个车站的符号(三角,正方,圆形,十字等等),分别代表这个车站能下车的乘客符号。运营的时候一定要考虑到这点,要不然后期很多时候某条线路上总有下不了车的乘客。运营初期就要考虑很多因素,包括每周增加的技术(列车,车厢,隧道,线路)一定要合理使用,不能太着急放进地图,否则后面车站的安排会很被动,容易在站台上突然滞留太多乘客。游戏画面很简洁舒服,唯一遗憾的地方是目前的版本还没有背景音乐。总的来说这是一款很讲究策略甚至是即时战略的小清新游戏,容易杀时间。不知道后续版本会不会把北京的地图放进来。

极简的艺术风格和有趣的玩法让这游戏有着别样的感觉,让人耳目一新,是一款佳作。
但地图和模式较少容易让人乏味,比如加入设计模式之类的,音乐希望也要增加。另外,游戏中如果可以增加可调节变速和车站的人口阀值设置,必要时暂停游戏,我想可以更完美。
总的来说,处于测试期间,一切值得期待。加油。

ps:在玩的时候想到了,站点可以加入信息提示,有几次没有看见满员就game over了。

还有就是希望在满足线路规则的情况下,玩家调整线路形状,有些时候游戏自行规划的线路并不好
看,影响观察。

最后,现实中,地铁是有分叉设计的,比如上海10号线路的Y字形。希望加入这样类似的并联设计,
而不仅仅只是单一的串联。而且游戏中加入数据分析提示回顾,我觉得也是一个不错的设想。
