Step into the Dungeons of Dredmor! Embrace your destiny! Face evil of the likes the world has never known - the terrifying Swarmies, the undulating Thrusties, and the adoreable nest-building Diggles. Worship Inconsequentia, the Goddess of Pointless Sidequests, or try your luck as a devotee of the nameless Lutefisk God. Cast powerful magic learned from the dark business warlocks of the school of Necronomiconomics, or summon the Viking Runes of your ancestors to blast your foes with thunder and lightning! Discover the power that can be had by wielding a bizarre armament of devastating weaponry such as the Interdimensional Axe, the Plastic Ring, and the Invisible Shield (if you can remember where you left it). One of my favorite rouge-likes. This game has a very goofy tone and sticks to it with a very unique sense of humor. Replayability is extremely high, with a wide variety of build options.

Great turn based combat. Easy to play hard to master.

Great bang for your buck. You will definitely be satsified with how much time you get out of such a cheap game.

I didn't expect to be into this game as much as I have been. FTL has been the only rogue-like I've enjoyed until now. I've played just over 40 hours, have had maybe 30 games and have only gotten as far as level 6. Losing is half the fun. The monster taunts keep me chuckling, and I really enjoy the witty writing for skills and weapon flavor text. There's a lot that I haven't done yet, you learn more about how to play each time you play.

If you enjoy a challenge, dungeon crawling, RPGs and/or mushrooms, then this game is for you!

Downside? The Diggles will haunt you in your sleep...

Dungeons of Dredmor is just one of those games that takes a well-known genre and does it well. Beyond the very nice gameplay, you get a nice level of humor that just makes it a fun title to mess around with regularly. It's also a friendly game to mess with under the hood, and I recommend it for modders and such.

One of the better roguelikes on Steam. With all of the DLCs loaded, there are literally dozens of different skill trees that you can pick for a new character. Not to say that all of them are equally useful (because they're not), and it's entirely possible to cherry-pick an overpowered build - which, if you ask me, is perfectly alright: let people play how they want to. It makes hitting the 'random' button during character creation more exciting.

The game's sense of humor will either totally pull you in or will totally put you off. Every skill, enemy, and item you find in the dungeon will have a description that's punny, a meta-reference to something else, and/or just silly. Personally, I love it, but I could see some people taking the game's lack of seriousness as a point against it.

Levelling up almost always provides new skills and abilities that significantly improve your hero, so you really feel like you're getting more powerful - it's not just 'your mana bolt is now 1% stronger.'

There are negatives/things that bother me:

- There are only about a dozen different monster types. Going deeper in the dungeon will just unlock the same monsters with new color schemes.

- By default, everything moves wayyyy too slowly. Hit the '+' key at least once when starting out so you don't have to spend hours watching your character amble along through the dungeon.

- Inventory management is a total pain in the ♥♥♥. Even with the Wizardland DLC (which I highly recommend), which gives you your very own dimension to store all the crafting junk you come across, you'll still find yourself constantly running out of room because you've picked up a dozen types of cheese, a bar's worth of different types of booze, masses of mushrooms, crossbow bolts made out of six different materials of four different qualities (not even including one-off bolt types!), potions, throwing weapons, wands, etc., etc., etc. Get used to hearing "Your inventory is full!"

- The game's too long, and yet there are options to make it even longer! By default, there are 10 levels of the dungeon. At around dungeon level 5 or 6, your character will probably be strong enough that anything outside of massive monster zoos or a crazy mini-boss monster won't pose much (if any) threat. However, to be able to keep up with the power curve, you're going to have to grind through the levels anyway. With the DLCs, you have the option of expanding the dungeon to 15 levels, as well as having a virtually unlimited amount of wizarding worlds to explore - I would highly recommend NOT doing so.

- While there's an option 'no time to grind', which makes the dungeon smaller (yet having a roughly equal XP curve), which I totally recommend playing with, do note that by choosing this option, you significantly alter the balance of loot - specifically, any crafting class will find it more difficult, since you'll run into significantly less materials.

- Dredmor himself has been balanced against the twink builds. This means that it's possible to have a character that can clear out the entire dungeon but still be unable to actually win the game. Especially classes that are forced to go toe-to-toe with the big man himself - bring massive amounts of dodge and counter or you may as well just go home.

All those things are real problems with the game. However, I've sunk 120 hours into this game and have won it at all difficulties (with permadeath), so I obviously think that the game is well worth playing, despite its warts.

But, it's such a fun roguelike that you can actually overlook that

This game is definitely something you can sink alot of time into. Being able to customize you character with a mix of different skills every run brings in alot of combinations, and adds to the replayability value of the game. the game uses a very odd, yet satisfying sense of humor, and alot of references can be found throughout the game as well. There is no real story to follow, but that's pretty common for roguelikes. I will say it can feel slightly repetitive, especially once you find a set of skills that work well together or you feel you suits your play style. It's only $5, so I don't see any reason not to buy it. I was definitely hesitant to buy this just after looking at the screenshots, but I have no regrets now.

Definitely recommended to anyone who enjoys roguelikes.
Beware Diggle Hell, and be prepared to press space bar alot.
(I would also recommend Tales of Maj'Eyal to anyone who has already played through Dungeons of Dredmor. TOME is like a much more hardcore and in-depth version of Dredmor with even lower graphics quality. Fair warning though, you may not like it as much as Dredmor.)

Simple, fun, easy-to-learn roguelike perfect for people looking to get their feet wet in the genre but who are looking for a simpler experience. The persistent sense of humor is what really sets it apart, with everything from mobs to skills to item descriptions having some ridiculous pun or reference thrown in that keeps things light-hearted throughout. While I will say that there are certainly some issues regarding balance of skills and easy abuse of AI mechanics, the game is for the most part well balanced and definitely polished, and definitely worth the asking price.

画面比hack,slash,loot漂亮一点的rougelike,地城探险,标准d&d规则。喜欢这类的玩家可以玩玩,虽然我只研究了个把小时,但其实大家都知道rougelike本身耐玩度就很高,主页上有几百小时的评测。这游戏难度比较低,当作rougelike入门不错。我喜欢rouge like的一点是比较缓和,你不动敌不动,可以考虑清楚下一步该干什么。这是包里的游戏,带工坊和卡牌,比较划算。推荐一个。

复古风格的Roguelike游戏,画面党首先可以退散了,其实在众多核心向的Roguelike游戏中,我才不会和你们说DoD已经算是画面非常好的一作了……
说到复古风格,这就是毫无剧情的下地牢踢门砍砍砍,除了商人以外连个友善的NPC都没有,挡在面前的一切生物全部轰杀干净就对了!而且当然要选择永久死亡,不是永久死亡的Roguelike不是好的Roguelike(抖M之心)~

游戏系统的最大特色是技能搭配,没有职业,而是从一大堆奇怪的技能里面选出(或随机出)若干技能来创造角色,因为游戏走的是幽默恶搞路线,所以有很多奇怪的东西,比如有Mathemagic这种听起来就很奇葩的技能树(其实数学法术非常好用,法师类最强辅助技能树),而各种技能和物品的描述也充满了捏他(比如克苏鲁神话这种万用梗当然不能少),可以感受到作者作为死宅的很多恶趣味。
在原版里面其实主要还是正常的技能树,比如各种武器精通啊防御强化啊法术流派啊制造啊之类的常见东西,而到了DLC里面各种技能树就越来越奇葩越来越莫名其妙了,比如最新的DLC里,有银行家、游客、共产主义者、偏执狂调查者、魔法律师(逆转裁判梗)等非常奇怪的东西,如果去论坛里挖Mod的话,还能找到更加诡异的技能树……

然后是缺点,首先游戏并不稳定经常崩溃,乃至于作者都做了一个关于崩溃的Steam成就来自嘲……好在自动存档和Steam云端备份,角色彻底丢失或者坏档的情况并不多,但还是会让人感到不爽;
另外就是各种技能描述提供的信息太少,如果不去Wiki看公式的话,很多技能(尤其是被动技能)光看描述根本不清楚是怎么作用的,当然简单难度非永久死亡模式这些信息可能并不是很重要,但至少给个数字或者伤害属性什么的让大家知道技能的强力程度啊;

最后就是平衡性的问题,有些技能非常逆天,有些技能存在感稀薄,而且最终Boss的打法是有限的,某些Build应对起来会很困难,比如近战物理系Build,基本唯一的活路就是设法堆到物免魔免,不然近身Boss后逃不开死亡率极高,而法师Build如果输出过于依赖亡灵系法术的话(亡灵系法术中期出了AoE大招以后可以一路横扫),会发现Boss根本是不吃那些属性的,需要另外准备一些恶心的方法来猥琐Boss,如果没准备好就等死吧——诸如此类,很大限制了Build的空间

不过总体而言DoD依然是Steam上少有的非常优秀的Roguelike游戏,而且粘性很大,为了获得最大乐趣欢迎选择永久死亡模式(不过死太多还是很让人沮丧的,毕竟游戏不简单,比如法师什么的后期一个手抖走位失败就挂了)

带我入STEAM坑的游戏。ROGUELIKE和地牢的元素都有了。几十种职业任意组合,各式各样的武器,道具,怪物,复杂的制造系统,随机的地图和任务。简直有无限的时间可以游玩。更不要说还有创意工坊提供的各种MOD,上面说的这些元素都可通过MOD再次拓展。
你可以扮演正统的战士,法师或者武术家,盗贼之类,也可以扮演一些歪门邪道的职业,一切奇葩的组合任你想象了。
难度方面也很开放,最简单的可读档让你轻松通关,最高难度的死亡消档让你做抖M。你可以轻松捏死最终BOSS,也可以被第一层小怪捏死。
总之喜欢ROGUELIKE地牢冒险游戏的,买这个不后悔!请一定要买完整版!

内容非常丰富,让我们无视画质吧。
职业自由选择,配合。匕首专精,刀剑专精,斧专精,双持,狂战士,各种法师,炼金,锻造,以及许多莫名其妙系列。
要说缺点的话,就是地牢的随机程度不够,基本都一个套路。
每次太大,基本进入第二层,已经是等级不低,装备不差了。
