Mini Bikes & Physics & Bears A12!

Happy build day Survivalists,
We’ve just released Alpha 12 ‘our biggest build to date’ and I want to tell you it’s one huge mega-shit-ton of new content goodness, bug fixes and more ‘including’: A new badass vehicle system with a Mini Bike that has parts quality, storage and locking. A new sky and weather system with rain, snow, dust storms and dynamic cloudy, clear and stormy skies, lunar cycles and blood moons. A brand new sexy humidity/height based random gen system with more natural elevations, improved poi placement, cave placement, biome border mixing and new footpaths. A new random gen mixer with full control over custom hub creation, prefabs that spawn and their probabilities.

We’ve also added dynamic ambient audio system with wind, gusts daybreak, nightfall and bloodmoon stingers. A new physics system with new zombie ragdolls, tumbling blocks and explosion impulses. A new right click action menu system with over most in-game actions. A new gun attachment system that supports flashlights. A new alternate ammo system that supports stone tipped, iron tip, steel tip and flaming arrows as well as shotgun slugs. A new leveled loot system. A new bear enemy. Quality on bows, crossbows, augers, chainsaws and all clothing. New Graphics options including motion blur, depth of field, dynamic contrast and tone mapping. A new tree falling system. A new high-res acid puking hulk model. And a new crafting basics category to help players craft the most important items quickly. Folks there is way too much in this build to summarize so read em and weep unless of course you have time to play then enjoy the hell out of this mega-build!

Building on survivalist and horror themes, players in 7 Days to Die can scavenge the abandoned cities of the buildable and destructible voxel world for supplies or explore the wilderness to gather raw materials to build their own tools, weapons, traps, fortifications and shelters. In coming updates these features will be expanded upon with even more depth and a wider variety of choices to survive the increasing dangers of the world. Play alone or with friends, run your own server or join others.

7 Days to Die development was launched following a successful Kickstarter campaign in August 2013, demonstrating the initial prototype. Joining us in early access now will help support the cause and ensure continued expansion of the development team, their efforts and the planning and addition of even more features and depth eagerly awaited by fans.

Many of our fans have commented in these early stages that they feel we are building the survival\zombie game they have always wanted. Our goal is to live up to this as much as we can and build a customizable, moddable game that allows users to fine tune their survival and zombie experience to create the experience players and their friends want.



  • Random World Generation - Play Navezgane or roll the dice and dive back into the game with friends in a randomized world with huge cities, towns, rivers, lakes, mountains, valleys, roads, bridges, cave systems and wilderness locations.
  • Create and Destroy - The world terrain, structures and items can be destroyed or scrapped for resources. Re-purpose collected materials to build custom structures and fortification by hand, placing building pieces into the world in real time.
  • Terrain Enhancement - The terrain is now both smooth and natural but can still be destroyed and mined.
  • Upgradable Fort Building - Player built structures are assembled from framework which can be upgraded supporting sod, wood, cobblestone and concrete upgrade paths. Hammer away just like real building and use Land Claim blocks to protect your fort in PvP.
  • Structural Integrity - Buildings and terrain formations which are too unstable can fall apart if proper supports are not built. Some building materials are stronger than others and pieces which break off and fall can be dangerous or deadly if they fall on you or enemies.
  • Item Crafting & Degradation - With a continually growing list of over 250 recipes, gather resources such as plant fibers, wood and metal to create weapons and tools such as hand made crossbows, knives and hammers. As your tools wear out over time, use your crafting skills to repair them.
  • Quality Ranged Gear - Guns, weapons, tools, armor and clothing have quality ranges which govern attributes to provide hundreds of thousands of item permutations. Level up and craft better quality items to survive.
  • Plants and Animals - Locate seeds to plant and grow vegetables, and head out into the wilderness to hunt animals once the cabinets in abandoned buildings are already plundered.
  • Stealth System - Sneak past zombies who can see, hear and smell you and smelly items in your inventory and throw rocks to distract them.
  • Buff/Debuff System – Enjoy or deal with a multitude of buffs or debuffs like a caffeine buzz or a broken leg in our rapidly growing Buff/Debuff System with over a dozen boosts or ailments.
  • Cooperative Mode - Tired of zombie apocalypses that are more about fighting humans than zombies? Team up with your friends to work with other survivors rather than against them, using group efforts to build settlements and safety.
  • Character Customization - Full Character creation system with face/body morphing, custom skin, eye, hair color, facial hair and a multitude of visible clothing and armor.
  • Drivable Vehicles - A badass vehicle system with a Mini Bike that has parts quality, storage and locking. The better the parts the better it drives.
  • Weather System - The weather will change, and it may influence your survival.
  • Alternate Ammo - A alternate ammo system that supports stone tipped, iron tip, steel tip and flaming arrows as well as shotgun slugs.

  • World Building Tools and Mod Support - Greatly expanded creation tools for players to create their own apocalypse for them and their friends, including Steam Workshop support.
  • Skill Trees - Choose unique character skills and perks to enhance your characters abilities.
  • Skills System – Earn XP and upgrade your skills to become the ultimate Bruiser, Gun Nut, Gadget Man, Chemist or Stealth Agent.
  • Missions & Story Points- Do favors for NPC characters in return for experience and rewards, and learn more about what has happened in the world.
  • Infected Wildlife - Wildlife can become infected. There will be bears. Zombie bears.
  • Virtual Reality Headset Support - For the times when wandering through the woods at night isn't quite scary enough.
  • Environmental Temperature - Find shelter or build a campfire. Cold nights or long days in the desert will make a difference.
  • NPC Characters - Stumble upon the occasional computer controlled character. Talk, trade or engage them. Locate safe houses controlled by them.
  • Professional Soundtrack & Voices - For those who prefer mood setting music to go with their game, and professional screaming.

Je me suis un peu trop éloigné de ma maison et du coup je me suis retrouvé à 18h encore dans une prairie à récolter du coton. Grave erreur ! A 18h les zombies passent du mode "Bienvenue à Zombieland" à "28 jours plus tard"... du coup bon, je me suis dis que j'allais rester planquer dans les hautes herbes et attendre l'aube ... sauf que c'est long, la nuit, planqué dans des hautes herbes. Bref, j'attends, j'attends ... ah ?

Je commence à entendre des bruits de pas au loin, mais se rapprochant de plus en plus... je commence un peu à stresser, quand d'un coup je vois débarquer entre les colines 6 ou 7 zombies qui courrent comme des cons (des zombies quoi) en direction de la ville, à moins de 10 metres de moi !! C'est la que je me dis que j'ai bien fait de laisser par terre la bouffe, car meme dans le sac, ca attire les zombies à moins de 5 ou 10 metres.

Bref, je les laisse passer, quand ♥♥♥♥♥♥ DE ♥♥♥♥♥ une conne de nurse fait un écart et me repère, rameutant 2 de ses collègues ! Bon bah obligé de sortir la batte, je m'en sors avec quelques bobo et une infection, mais j'ai des antibiotiques à la maison... si j'arrive à rentrer un jour. J'ai eu du bol de pas attirer plus de zombies que ca.

Mais voilà que j'en entend d'autres arriver ! Gros gros stress pour essayer de m'éloigner tout en restant accroupis, ce qui aide pas pour la visibilité, et donc me fait encore plus stresser. Sans compter cette salo*** d'abeille qui s'est perdue et qui tourne pas très loin de moi, m'obligeant à surveiller le ciel au cas ou.

Bref, un bon jeu bien immersif et assez stressant la nuit, avec moultes moultes craft. Faut juste pas être trop peignette sur les graphismes.

Ah ouais et le truc énorme c'est quand on se planque sur le toit d'un maison et qu'on pense être safe, et qu'en fait les zombies défoncent les murs porteurs et font s'écrouler la maison. Panique garantie !

-Built a little house
-Saw and Airdrop
-Got to the airdrop and got a broken sniper rifle and ammo
-looked around and saw a westernish town nearby
-looted some buildings
-saw a building with a gun safe, it was behind concrete walls and iron bars
-Used my axe to get in trough the roof
-Got a book about guns, a .44 magnum with 36 shots, a 9mm with 15 shots, and some weapon parts
-starved to death because I couldn't get out.

11/10 Lets you do what you want and face the consequences

Alpha 11.5 Review:

I've owned this game since Alpha 8.7 and every update gets me pulled right back into this game no matter what it's that good imho.


Here's what I like about 7 Days To Die:

1. Graphics are way better than Alpha 8.7
2. Gameplay is awesome I would know I have 350+ hours ingame
3.Joining servers is seamless
4.Ability to host your very own server if your into that
5.Just like Minecraft BUT with 100x better graphics and there is a creative mode ingame.
6.Zombie AI can be changed if you want them to be harder if you like

Here's what NEEDS to be improved:

1. Faster updating
2.Theres a hack out there that can let the player bypass the protection block (like a sponge in minecraft) that needs to be patched asap it gets annoying that someone can just come in and steal all your stuff from your chests
3.Hopefully item dupping gets fixed in Alpha 12

I will add to this or remove from this review as 7 Days To Die gets updated.

Hopefully reading my review helps you decide on buying or not buying this game.

This is the best zombie game I have played so far. I own several of them, but none of the others offer such easy of play while maintaining a challenging zombie experiance. I just love this game.
