This game is not worth the time or money spent to play it.
There is absolutely no progression in the game save for what you find. There is no leveling, there is only loot. Of course, to get such loot you need to find it, off enemies, or out of barrels and chests. But, good luck surviving long enough to actually get it! In this game you have absolutely no passive regeneration. HP has to be restored through use of items and only through that.
In terms of mechanics, there's moving, attacking, and looting. Moving is really the one part I can't complain about, since well, you move just fine. Attacking is either ranged or melee, but regardless of range you will spend most of combat missing. You will miss much more than you ever hit. Now, with looting, there's one large thing that stands out: you don't have an inventory. You only have what you currently have equiped, and that's all. Want to save that potion for later? Nope, you have to use it now! This also means that looting devolves solely into: "is this better or worse than what I have right now?" And potions are only for chugging on sight.
Generally speaking, a game such as this has some sort of scaling difficulty. Either the lower/higher the floor, the more difficult things get. Or you find something like Risk of Rain, where the longer you spend in game, the more difficult it gets. This game? There is no difficulty. There is only the RNG. Add to the fact that the floors are absolutely tiny, and I hope you like get swarmed if you're unlucky.
This game is overly random and gives you no tools with which to determine your fate. This game is simply an overpriced RNG that looks like a rogue-like. Look elsewhere for a good rogue-like.
(Boy, am I glad I got this off the Humble Bundle and didn't actually purchase it.)
