Patch 3441 released!

Hey gang!
Thanks to everyone that has helped us track down some issues with the game, including that nasty end of round control point crash. We're still trying to find a fix for the Steam Validation Rejected issue. In the mean time, enjoy this new patch!

Gameplay
  • Free For All: Players now move faster when they are sheathed.
  • Control Point: Players can now change who they view when dead.
  • Control Point: Music now changes depending on whether or not in combat.
  • Control Point: Spawn times scale based off of players currently playing.
  • Control Point: Players now spawn instantly during starting period and intermission.
  • Control Point: Added in-game health bars.
  • Throwables now require line of sight in order to lock on.
  • Merged in balance changes from community, see patch notes here.
Bug Fixes
  • Control Point: Fixed a crash that happened if someone was spectating at the end of a round.
  • Control Point: Fixed a bug causing tickets to never stop flashing if points were all capped.
  • Control Point: Fixed a bug causing blue HUD points to replay particle effect after pausing.
  • Fixed a collision problem with the catwalks on free_district
Known Issues
  • Users occasionally receive a “Steam Validation Rejected” issue when connecting to a server using Pure workshop items.
  • Users can work around this by disabling/detaching the Pure workshop items before joining a server from the main menu.

Patch 3419

First of all I'd like to thank everyone who played Blade Symphony during the free weekend, we love you all, including those who played for free but decided not to purchase*. For those that did purchase Blade Symphony, thank you and I hope to duel with you on the servers.
During the Weekend we peaked at over 3000 players! This is amazing and broke our previous record of 1336 players!



As you may have noticed on Monday we released a small patch to fix some issues that had come to light over the course of the weekend. The change log is below:

Gameplay

  • Control Point mode: Added some awesomeness for winners during the intermission.
  • Control Point mode: Map never changes if bb_scorelimit is set to 0.
  • Control Point mode: Added text for team change and when waiting on more players to join.
  • Control Point mode: Updated all “capture point” localization text to say “control point”.
  • Control Point mode: Number of tickets flash when your tickets are low or all control points have been captured by the opposing team.
  • Timer flashes and produces sound when time is low in any mode.

Bug Fixes
  • Fixed HUD not updating properly during intermission.
  • Fixed Control Point bug related to opposing teams capping two points at the same time.
  • Fixed new attachments becoming invisible when a workshop skin has been selected.
  • Fixed new attachments becoming invisible when a workshop skin has been selected.
  • Fixed new attachments becoming invisible when a workshop skin has been selected.
  • Fixed wins and losses sometimes showing incorrectly for spectators.
  • Fixed a crash when specific sounds are stopped.
  • Minor adjustments to ragdoll physics.

Graphics/Mapping
  • Material updates for Phalanx, Pure, Ryoku and Knight.
  • Charge textures for all the new character attachments.
cp_docks
  • Added more spawn points.
  • Moved blue spawn to better match balance timing and point visibility.
  • Made small changes to various materials.
  • Implemented water solution for players using medium or below settings.
cp_terrace
  • Added more spawn points that prioritize centre points over non-centre points.
cp_sequence
  • Added more spawn points.
  • Made small changes to various materials.
  • Implemented water solution for players using medium or below settings.
free_temple
  • Added more spawn points.
  • Fixed roof bug, allowing players to climb through. (Sorry guys, had to be done.)
free_district
  • Added more spawn points.
  • Fixed various nodraw issues.

Known Issues
  • User’s often receive a ‘Steam Validation Rejected’ error.
  • We’re too damn awesome.

Prove you are the world's greatest swordsman in Blade Symphony: a slash-em-up featuring a highly detailed and in-depth sword fighting system. Face down other players in tactical swordplay, 2 versus 2 team duels, sandbox FFA, or the Control Points game mode!

Choose your fighting style

Each of the four characters have a unique fighting style suited to how you want to play.
  • Phalanx, a fencer gladiator hybrid, attacks with long range stabs and a versatile array of side attacks
  • Judgement, a knight crossed with a samurai, uses hard hitting forward attacks and wide strafing attacks
  • Ryoku, a vagrant street ninja, attacks with break dance moves and a signature reverse blade style
  • Pure, an acrobatic wushu style assassin that attacks with flips, cartwheels, extremely mobile

Each character has four combat stances and over forty different attacks.

Choose Your Sword

Pair your character up with a sword type to completely change your way of approaching combat.
  • Katana, cause massive damage when parrying your opponents
  • Longsword, a well-balanced, hard hitting and adaptable sword
  • Rapier, a piercing, high damage forward thrusting weapon great for parrying
  • Scimitar, a weapon based on turning and performing as many cuts as possible
  • Jian, an agile, responsive weapon great for combos

Tactical Sword Fighting


There are no unlockable advantages in Blade Symphony. All unlockables are cosmetic. You care about proving your skill and so should your game.

Every attack has openings that are determined in real-time and efficacy is entirely up to you. Did you start an attack too early? Turn away and end the attack in a safe location. Did your opponent stupidly use a lighter stance? Go in and punish him! By switching stances mid-combo you can chain attacks into your own flurry of death.



The fighting system is open for your exploration, you can dash, jump, do an air attack, land, swing sideways with a heavy stance, parry with a light stance, and then roll away.

Every attack flows from your blade in true three dimensional space. As does your opponents! Swords collide in mid-air and you will need good timing and aim to defeat your opponent.

Advanced Character Customization

Customize your character with skins, masks, swords, and multiple attachments streamed directly from Steam Workshop.

Fight as a Team

Play in the new Control Points game mode and participate in team-based sword fighting.

经过一轮跟人切磋后,有些新的体会:
一般不随便使用集气攻击的,即使抓到了跪地集气也还是慢。
看对手的持刀姿势,就知道他是轻、中、重状态,根据对手状态来选择招数
攻击范围和躲避是很讲究的,尤其是躲避……

从抢先体验就关注了,这游戏属于另类格斗,不一定很多人会喜欢,个人感觉挺好玩的,很喜欢。

还在研究自己建服不知道怎么加bot进来呢……不知能不能跟好友对战。
不过进官方的服玩了下,惊叹黑科技……200、300ping但不影响游戏,没有卡顿,判断也很准确……就是联网对战感觉ffa有点混乱。

在训练模式我就基本上搞明白这游戏的特点了,跟传统格斗不太一样的地方在于这游戏非常注重攻击距离和拆招,说实在的,一般玩搏击的人不管跆拳道、拳击还是散打,要到一定水平才开始真正懂得控制攻击距离,游戏的作者既然注重这个方面,应该说至少对一些格斗元素的理解还是不错的。

习惯传统格斗游戏的玩家,就是一味攻、防、连招,讲究敲打键盘出招的爽快。但这个游戏不是这样的,技能1、2、3切换轻、中、重,wsad控制方向,不同方向按下鼠标是不同的攻击动作,不同的攻击动作和方向跟对手的动作会产生拆招,出招相同双方弹开,若出现相克(距离和攻击方向),则被克一方攻击会被判失败。

另外,这游戏很讲究攻击距离,切换成重击,不管横还是竖,你出手都要慢很多,而且如果对手贴身,你会打空。所以攻击距离要提前拉开。(人物会有攻击轨迹显示,可辅助判断)如果对手是轻击状态,他靠近你直接攻击,就是一个击剑的动作,你的重击根本出不了手。在联机中我就经常看到别人傻乎乎的在集气,直接冲过去轻击,集气就破了,他鼠标还没松开,你就有足够时间切换中或者重击,给他两三刀。

所以胡乱的出手,往往死的最快,拉开距离,看准机会,灵活运用轻、中、重击,甚至用假的集气或者其他假动作骗对方出手,他一旦贸然出手,往往是你开始反击的最佳时机。

游戏有点意思,值得研究。另外,吐槽下音乐怎么那么像某仙侠游戏的背景音乐……

首先,这游戏进包了 所以不要原价入

刀剑交响曲这游戏让我想起了流星蝴蝶剑

但是相比画面提升了太多

游戏方式也的确很像 不同的武器决定不同的特性 不同的人物有不同的攻击方式

连招系统也让各路触手可以大展身手

联机挺方便并且服务器一般都有人

就是游戏内容比较单一 就是PVP

说不出太多的内涵...

想要重温流星蝴蝶剑感觉的各位可以尝试一下

个人评分 6/10吧

说不上烂 但也并不是一部佳作

刀剑交响曲这款游戏一打开我还以为是中国人制作的游戏,中国风非常浓郁,音乐悠扬飘荡在耳畔,刀剑的交锋声掺杂于其中,战斗亦如舞蹈般醉人!

作为一个太刀迷这个游戏简直太赞了!

经过我游戏的练习中我发现了游戏有3种持刀状态:轻 中 重也就是(快 中 慢)在战斗的过程我发现了要掌握游戏的连击。

可能这对刚玩这个游戏的人难度稍微大一些我想适应和练习是你最佳的选择,还有一点的是我100Ping居然在里面无一点慢,每一刀都砍的很切实。

游戏的配置要求也不是很高连我这渣渣机都带的起了 要玩这类游戏最好自己配燃一点的音乐可能增加你的信心哟!

游戏特色也很多例如:

1、质量上乘的音乐,游戏的地图全部都切开成为三块,每块都独立成为一个1v1房间,在各个房间设计都不同的同时,也可以透过个别区域里面带有的窗户看到另一侧的战况,代入感非常强。

2、独特的战斗系统和极高素质的玩家群体,非常容易融入这个剑与荣誉的世界之中。

3、形态各异的角色,多种不同系统的武器提供选择与非常前卫的柔合了科幻和古典的设计风格,非常讨喜。
