This update focuses on the re-balancing of skills, skill book costs, skill point requirements, and skill effect values per level. Some of the skill effect values have also changes. These changes will correspond with the upcoming changes to the skill book system.
Test out these changes in the momoslab MOD. Once all the balancing changes are complete, they will be moved to the default MOD folder.

The next update will focus on a few UI tweaks and QoL additions, modifications to the cloak system, and a number of object folder data file balances. I know I said I would be doing 12 updates before releasing v1.0. It's close, but not there yet. I will continue with the updates until I nail down some loose mechanics, and redo the tutorial. I will try to get out these updates weekly like I have been, However, I do foresee a few of them requiring a couple weeks or more as to avoid (in progress) tutorial quests. Anyway, the development continues.

1,优化角色滑铲,现在滑铲动作衔接更自然丝滑;

Liminal City: Axiom of Maria - Chapter One - Studio Ganzheit


Since the demo launch on April 1st, I've made major changes based on community feedback. Here's what’s new:

  1. Unlocked Traversal Freedom
    Acrobatic movement is now available much earlier, with location restrictions removed entirely. This opens up the world after the initial tutorial, giving players more freedom to explore and experiment with movement-based mechanics. Quest progression was also adjusted to allow for more open-ended exploration, and several areas were reworked to support freer traversal.

  2. Lightweight Dialogue System
    You no longer need to open the dialogue window every time—conversations now appear as compact messages on the right side of the screen. Keyboard users can adjust the display speed of these messages on the fly, and all players can do so via Settings > Game Settings > Dialog Display Speed.

  3. Boss Fight Improvements
    I've addressed frustrating elements in the boss fight by making key mechanics more readable and reducing the overall difficulty. These changes make the fight fairer and more responsive while keeping it engaging.

In total, over 200 improvements and fixes have been made, ranging from input handling and performance to UI and narrative flow.

A new trailer is now available to reflect these changes.

- Fixed a bug where HP would instantly recover when equipping the Princess Armor.
- Fixed a bug where summoned monsters did not regain health upon being re-summoned using summoning magic.
- Fixed an issue where the zoom level with the mouse wheel in camera mode was too small.

- Removed the Holy Maiden’s ability "Guardian."
- Added a new ability for the Holy Maiden: "Vanish" – unleashes an area magic attack while guarding with a shield.
- Improved the Holy Maiden’s talent: added a maximum HP multiplier.
- Improved the Sword Saint’s ability "Shield Mastery": now allows shield guarding even while staggered or knocked up.
- Fixed a bug where key configuration changes wouldn't apply until restarting.
- Changed the title of the hero Takeru to "Magic Blade Deity."
- Added a new ability for Magic Blade Deity: "Oboro Stream."
- Changed the names of some hero abilities and other related adjustments.
- Various other minor fixes and improvements.

This demo has been quite the undertaking, and in the past month has expanded quite a bit in terms of mechanics, animations, environmental interactivity and most importantly - more added puzzles!

I'm really excited to get this out to the public, and it should be available by the start of June!

Performance Fixes and Crashes
  • Fixed a black screen that wouldn't let the game load. Game will load after a few seconds now, no matter what.

Quest fixes
  • Added a blocker to prevent Interactions from blocking important phone calls. For those still experiencing issues with calls not occurring, we are working on a solution to reset quest progress. For now, we recommend restarting the game with a new save file.
  • Attempted a fix to a rare bug where you could not pay your bills. Please report if the issue continues.
  • Bus Stop "Unwanted Responsibility" stability enhanced. Whoever is facing the "Repair bus stop at Futon" task lock after repairing it before will be able to progress. If you see "Unwanted Responsibility" greyed out, you probably claimed it before; check your completed quests tab. Send us a message if you don't find it!

Other fixes
  • Fixed controller interaction for the Gardening Display in "Coins, Tools, and a Helping Fool" Main Quest.
  • Fixed controller interaction for The Tube (Multiplayer Hosting).
  • XP amounts and levels have been amended for all interests. Gaining levels should now be easier.
  • Auto-Pause is disabled by default. Tabbing out of the app will no longer pause the game by default.
  • Taking other players' clothes out of the washing machine will no longer make them lose their clothes in Multiplayer.
  • Updated Samir's name colour to properly match his big green self.
  • Fixed an issue where some characters that should have a gifting option weren't displaying it.
  • Locked the Employee Gate at LetsGo until you've reached a certain point in the story.
  • Updated Nanako's magic coffee confirmation to show the cost of the magic coffee.
  • Fixed Nanako giving you money for magic coffee instead of charging it.
  • Added a warning pop-up when creating new Multiplayer save files, notifying players that tutorial access is disabled in MP mode.
  • Waterproof jacket, Rain Hat, and Rain Boots added to tier 1 of City Reputation.
  • We are disabling the feature that blocks your furniture if you don't pay the bills due to a bug in which players are not properly receiving their bills. Further investigation is happening to fix the problem.
  • All stoves and workbenches are now usable by any player in Multiplayer.
  • Fixed bathtubs causing a hard lock.

Audio Fixes
  • Added missing Samir voice lines during "Coins, Tools and a Helping Fool"

Balancing Updates
  • We have increased the backpacks and the initial players' inventory.
  • Stamina usage has been decreased.
