- Training and Solo play - for learning how to play, or casual fun
- Coop and PvP Matchmaking - quickly get matched against others
- Custom games and rules - when you want total control
- Player driven economy - didn't need that drop? Sell it to other players!
- Quests with ingame rewards - like Achievements, but better
- Leveling, progression, unlocks - level yourself, your AirMechs, expand your army
- NOT "pay2win" at all - check our reviews or ask players ingame
- Global chat, Factions, parties - integrated directly into the core UI
- Crafting system - added due to player demands
- VIP/Premium for LIFE with any purchase - because we're cool like that

This game is awesome. There seems to be a lot of correlation between AirMech and Herzog Zwei from SEGA Genesys, which is exactly why I like it. Having a controller is pretty much a must if you want to win against quick players. I am not a fan of buying your way to power as is possible in this game, but what are you going to do about it, right? The matches seem to be either super easy to dominate or impossible to win. There are few times where it is anything in between. I don't like the two currencies, there should only be one to upgrade, trade and buy. More and varied worlds to play in would be great. Islands with boat armies would be cool too. This game is worth a buy. If the loading times to find someone willing to play against you were improved, the internet play would be awesome.

I used to love this game. Played it all day everyday. Until they nerfed all the 'Ultimates' in the game. Ultimates are now pretty much the same as the other units. They also removed the ultimate striker and replaced it with a sh*tty super striker which is the same as the normal one. I wish they would put the Ultimates back to the way they were and bring back the ultimate striker!

Removed fun game modes to shuffle more players onto new maps. Cannot play old maps with friends. Cannot play custom maps with friends at all without having prime, apparently. I am not buying the game a second time just to have access to a map editor. Used to be fun, but they really want you to play skirmish against randoms, not your friends.

Great game, with original and unique gameplay, combines aspects of popular MOBAs and RTS games for a definitely interesting experience.

The MAIN issue with this game is the diminishing playerbase. Due to some questionable changes that divided the pvp playerbase, there are now two queues, Unlimited and Skills.

Unlimited, where there are no holds barred, and essentially whoever has spent the most diamonds (premium currency) on parts, special slightly-buffed units called Ultimates, and Ultimate Pilots, will have the major advantage. Obviously new players with none of this premium currency are going to have a bad time. The best part of this PvP queue is the fact that it's unranked, but at the cost of blatantly Pay2Win mechanics and the dissapointing purge of many fun RTS mechanics seeing as it makes the player mech so powerful that it can literally wipe out entire armies in mere minutes.

Skills, where the awful mechanics of unlimited are non-existent, as everyone is on the same playing field. However, this is ranked PvP, so your wins and losses will be permanent on your record. In addition, Airmech veteran players lurk in these queues, looking to improve their records by completely demolishing new players who attempt to seek refuge from the unforgiving and outrageously annoying unlimited queue mechanics.

Yes, with a larger playerbase and a functional ranking system that matches players with others of the same skill level, this game would be golden. But as we stand currently, the PvP aspect of the game is dying, and many players are quitting as a result. This game is in desperate need of more players, but it only seems to be deterring them.

The playerbase of this game seems unstable, with people frequently quitting and coming back every update, only to quit again. The developers continue to create an interesting story behind the game, while adding on to PvE gamemodes. (Which i'm quite happy with, don't get me wrong.) But meanwhile, many veteran players are begging for improvements to the PvP aspects of the game, for the same reasons as I stated above.

While the PvP queues are clearly flawed, with lack of a fair and casual unranked queue, there is still hope. Airmech does have a custom lobby option, allowing you to disable the aspects that make the Unlimited queue unbearable, while remaining an unranked match. So yes, this game definitely has potential, and I have high hopes for it, if you can take the initiative to really get into the unique gameplay, it will be a fun experience. But that potential may or may not be slowly diminishing, and honestly, that's for you to decide.

While it may seem strange that this is a positive review while the majority of it is me talking about what's wrong with the game, I see this as more helpful. Really, you need to try this game out yourself, because it's genuinely fun at its core, but I thought i'd mention the main complaints I have with the game. To be honest, there's nothing much worse then what i've mentioned above, this game is not Pay2Win (unless you play unlimited) because everything that affects gameplay otherwise is available with the main currency simply from playing any gamemode. The gameplay is unique, fast-paced, exciting, with all of the best aspects of a polished RTS game, mixed in with MOBA-style player skills and battling, it makes for a very enjoyable experience.

I can only hope that this great game doesn't lose the entirety of its playerbase.
