So this essentially takes the record mechanic from the blinx games and attempts to build an entire game around it, and it fails to do so.
For this game its easier to lay out my problems with bullet points than a paragraph.
1: the mechanic of using your copy to give you a boost onto higher platforms is a waste of everybodies time, its a lazy way to extend the game by making you go through the recording just to jump higher.
2: the actual usage of the time machine device is never tutorialised properly, i was standing around for about 15 minuites just figuring out how exactly it works, again another massive waste of time that couldve been avoided by a proper tutorial (or better yet a more streamlined system)
3: as stated above, i believe the usage of the time machine is too complex, going through many different actions, while say pressing a button, recording for 20 seconds, then automatically reversing time back to the original point and playing the recording, is FAR simpler and achieves the exact same end goal.
4: the art design is just plain dull, its bright white bloom heavy lights, and more bright white bloom heavy lights, and nothing else.
5: due to the fetish of having many cubes and laser fields to vaporise them, you can end up 5-7 minuites into a puzzle, accidentally twitch your thumb, and suddenly your cube is vaporised, meaning you have to go through all that crap again just to get back to where you were, this couldve been avoided by better level design
I literally cannot find a single redeeming factor for this game outside of the main, poorly implemented mechanic, only play if you are extremely desperate for the gimmick, otherwise avoid like the plague.
overall, when i heard about this game, i expected an ok puzzle experience, not something amazing but ok, what i got was a situation where someone threw crap at a wall to see what sticks, but also included the crap that didnt stick for some reason.
