I guess the game is worth trying since it costs less than a dollar now, but I didn't like it. It's a puzzle/strategy game with not much variety. Goal: obtain as much as you can and make it to the end without running into yourself, and you legthen the farther you travel so it gets harder. If you like simple puzzles like this that are repetative, you may like this game. I tried to like it but it just bored me to death.

A competent snake game to eat all the items through a maze (pac-man without enemies), grow as you eat, and reach the exit without running into your tail, and faster if you want higher rating. You can play in different difficulties that grow your length at different speeds as you eat, and it just blocks the higher star rating & "shoes" collected that unlock new levels. The game runs fine, controls are decent, and had no problems. It did run my computer a little hotter while in levels, but didn't seem excessive. But in the end, I just didn't have much fun with it, so thumbs down. (3/5 stars + trading cards)

Zombillie is its successor, and is largely the same, but improved visuals (in my opinion).

Good maze game but the plane levels are ridicously hard, with buggy checkpoints. Often à high discount, so it's worth its price.

The gameplay is like snake, with items with different functions, and flying stages. Fun!
What I did not expect was that I actually like the music.
The character somehow looks cute to me.

The difficulty in this game is mostly in the view, which is of such a small area the only way to beat levels efficiently is via trial and error or memorizing the maze. That may be fun for some, but not for me.

Won a free key of this and never really bothered with it till now, i wish i had actually played it a bit more as its really quite fun.

Where to start......

Did you ever like Pacman?
Did you ever like Snake?
Were you any good at either?

IF you think you are a God at both then try this game out for siaze as it combines both pacman and snake into one fun little puzzle game that will frustrate you beyond belief.

How does it combine both games?

Well from pacman you have the white blobs that you have to collect from arond the maze, upside in this you dont have ghosts trying to eat you.

From Snake each piece you eat makes you longer which makes going round harder as you cant walk into yourslef or its game over.

So add both of those together and you have Millie.

it starts out easy enough you are small but the more you eat the longer you get so you are then gonna have to make longer circles to get that last piece to get them all from the map and then of course get to your hole in the grond to complete the level.

It sounds simple until your body is so long and you have to go through all the twists and turns and hope you dont have run into yourself.

To top it all off there is a little bonus where you fly a plane and have to draw a shape in smoke, that i have only tried to do the heart and failed as its not as easy as it seems.

Great little casual game that even at $4 is worth it as it will give you a lot of joy and frustration for anyone who likes puzzle type games

The game „Millie“ reminds me of the same basic concept as the classic game „Snake“ has. With eating / collecting pellets your body grows and you have to take care that you don’t colide with yourself.

In Millie you play a cute colorful millipede which is detailed designed. Also the music and comic influences are in a cute childish style.

The aim in Millie is to get all pellets (+ maybe upgrades) and to get her to aviation school so that she can become a pilot. But the story does not match the gameplay. It’s more something additionally.
The upgrades in the game can help you in different ways, for example making the body of Millie shorter again or destroying walls. So you should better collect them.

With finishing levels you also unlock minigames which are really challenging if you want to get good playing times and always full rewards.

But in general I think this game is just something for boring times in between. I don’t regret that I bought this classic game for such a cheap price and I think I will play it from time to time.

This is more a mixed review than a negative one.

The gameplay is basically Snake, but in Pac-Man-styled levels. Navigate mazes filled with corridors, collect all the pellets, and reach the exit, all without running into your own body, which elongates as you eat pellets. Familiar with Rattlesnake from Windows Entertainment Pack, which I recall had easier levels, I wanted to see how this compared.

It was fun for me in the beginning, but this was because the levels started out small enough that you could see the entire playing field on screen at once. By the time you access world 2 of 3, they become so big that even the zoom button won't show you the whole thing. This is important, because as you progress the levels become trickier, with more bottlenecks that you have to identify and clear early before emptying the rest of the stage. So, there's an increasingly heavy trial-and-error aspect that I don't really like. In addition, Millie's body becomes so long in these larger levels that, in order to eat those last few pellets you're missing, you have to take the long way around the whole area multiple times, just to avoid running into yourself. I've gone from taking 1 or 2 minutes to clear a stage, to taking multiple 5-minute attempts to clear just one, and I'm not even halfway done with the game as of this writing.

The zoom button pauses gameplay, and because the default camera is often zoomed in too close to anticipate bottlenecks and such, you'll have to zoom out constantly to make sure you aren't going down the wrong path. Not only does this make the pacing tedious, it suggests the developers wanted to enforce a memory aspect, which again is something I don't really like.

There are powerups, like hammers that break cracked walls and sirens that let you go both ways on one-way streets. I was hoping these would add variety to the levels, since there are nearly 100 of them, but they never seemed to make enough of a difference in the gameplay. They activate instantly upon pickup and last less than 30 seconds, so you have to know where to use them first, but again, since the levels become so large, you often have to make a preliminary attempt just to discover all the noteworthy areas. I feel the levels become challenging less by creative use of different mechanics, and more by increasing level size and number of bottleneck areas.

If the premise interests you, and the above points don't bother you, go ahead and give it a try. Otherwise, be warned that it becomes much more difficult than the mood of its trailer suggests.
