Writing this after beating the game in offline mode.
I found the aesthetics and mechanics of the game to be pretty good. The art and animations are nice, the setting is pretty interesting and the voice acting is decent.
The puzzles can get on the cryptic side, but I was able to get through all but one of them without looking at a hint. Somebody that is new to, or doesn't really like point-and-click games might have some trouble with them though.
Now for the reasons I don't recommend the game.
First of all, the protagonist is pretty unlikeable. At first his behavior seems like it's being played up for laughs, or that it's a set up for future character development. Eventually you'll realize that nope, He's just a terrible person, and it's not funny.
This is a big problem when often the protagonist is the driving force behind the player getting past puzzles and finishing the game. Maybe this will change in the sequels.
Secondly, this game is pretty unpleasant throughout. There is a lot of sexism, mean-spirited jokes and uncomfortable implications throughout the game, all seemingly in an effort to make the player laugh.
Some people might think I'm being oversensitive about this, but I'm absolutely not. It is there and it is blatant. The fact that none of these jokes are even clever or funny makes it that much worse.
Despite the game being decent art/mechanics wise, I really can't recommend this.tl;dr
