Sins of a Solar Empire: Rebellion v1.82 Released

Ironclad Games and Stardock Entertainment are pleased to announce the final release of Sins of a Solar Empire: Rebellion v1.82 today. This latest version addresses balance issues in the Stellar Phenomena DLC.

Changes include:

Stellar Phenomena DLC
  • Halved asteroidCounts on Graveyard and DenseDebris templates in AsteroidDef to improve performance.
  • Updated GalaxyScenarioDef uncolonizable gravity wells w/resources to be guarded by Pirates, not neutral factions.
  • Removed defenders from Antimatter Fountain.
  • Changed ShatteredMoon defender template from LocalMilitiaWeak to LocalMilitiaWeakUncolonizable.
  • Updated Allegiance progression in Gameplay.Constants on the later stages to drop by .05 on levels 7-8. This should help prevent very distant planets from instantly going neutral from Open Rebellion.
  • Added potential for 0-2 (from 0) neutral crystal extractors at Comets.
  • Increased minimum neutral crystal extractor count to 2 (from 1) at Ice Fields.
  • Increased minimum neutral metal/crystal extractor count to 1 (from 0) at Radiation Storms.
  • Increased minimum neutral metal extractor count to 1 (from 0) at Shattered Moon.
  • Increased random event allegiance check from 240 to 600 seconds. This should help prevent distant colonies from succumbing to Open Rebellion before the player can do anything about it.
  • Reduced minimum allegiance threshold for random events from 30% to 15%.
  • Increased max respawn count on Magnetic Storm from 4 to 9.
  • Increased max respawn count on Plasma Storm from 4 to 9.
  • Reduced trigger weight on Partisans event from 25% to 10%.
  • Reduced trigger weight on Open Rebellion event from 10% to 5%.
  • Reduced fleet point range on Open Rebellion event from 150/350 to 100/250.
  • Increased volume on random event warning sound by 3db.
  • Dramatically shortened Pulsar particle so that it doesn't touch other gravity wells and made the tails less sharp.
  • Removed Fighters from target list on Gas Giant's pre-explode buff since they can never lose it; will still take damage from nearby explosions.
  • Added new Commodity Boom random event: one random planet (including neutrals) may now undergo a resource boom where extractor and refinery rates are increased by 30% for 5 minutes. Should never appear on: Dead Asteroids, Pirate Bases, Antimatter Fountains, Magnetic Clouds or Wormholes. (Thanks to Goafan for the suggestion!)

Forbidden Worlds DLC
  • Removed 'Ferrus' from PlanetRandomUncolonizable in GalaxyScenarioDefs.
  • Removed 'FerrusFair' from PlanetRandomUncolonizableFair in GalaxyScenarioDefs.
  • Added new planet bonuses to GalaxyScenarioDefs (thanks Goafan!).
  • Changed Rusted Core planet bonus to no longer require points in exploration.

AI
  • Revised AI bonus income rates to try and scale less drastically past Normal.

Misc.
  • Updated SDActivate.exe so folks shouldn't need to open up IE if it fails on new installs.

关于游戏

The Next Installment to the Award-Winning RTS.
While many were hopeful that diplomacy would finally end the war, differing opinions on what should be done, along with the depleted power of the controlling factions, has led to a splintering of the groups involved.

The loyalist members of the Trader Emergency Coalition adopt a policy of isolation, focusing on enhanced defenses to ride out the rest of the war. Those who rebel against the coalition take on a purely militant view, coming to the opinion that the only way to bring peace is by ultimately crushing all who oppose them - especially xenos.

For the first time in their history, the war creates a schism in the Advent Unity. The loyalists seek to continue their policy of revenge against the Traders, and to assimilate all others to the Unity’s influence. However, others amongst the Advent suspect that a corrupting influence from within has diverted the Unity from its proper destiny.

The divide created in the Vasari Empire is less pronounced, but just as severe to their people. With the Vasari now practically frantic to move on to new space, the loyalist faction abandons cooperation and decides to take the resources they need by any means necessary. Having accepted the need to work together, the rebel faction feels that their best chance for survival is to work with the other races and bring them along to flee the approaching enemy.

Take the battle for galactic supremacy to its ultimate level in Sins of a Solar Empire: Rebellion – a standalone RT4X game that combines the tactics of real-time strategy with the depth of the 4X genre (eXplore, eXpand, eXploit, eXterminate).

Key features:

  • New Factions: Decide whether to play as a Loyalist or Rebel – each unlocks new technologies, ships and play styles for each race.

这是一款非常不错的RTS游戏,战斗场景令人想起了十多年前的,经典的家园系列.虽然在画质上略逊一筹,但是当效果全开的时候,舰队作战的场面还是比较震撼的.再配上恰到好处的背景音乐,为这款游戏增色不少.相比于前堑壕、外交两款资料片和最初的SSE,画质还是有一定的提高的.虽然我认为...基本看不出来...
从游戏性上来说,这款游戏并没有采用和家园一样的全三维操作,而仅仅是在360°全视角下的二维平面操作,这对于行星重力场内的局部作战减少了一部分战术性.但是得到了一个好处就是对于新手玩家来说这个游戏上手还是相对容易的.但是略复杂的科技树和舰船相克的属性,对于新手进阶来说可能要花一段不少的时间.但是这也是这游戏的精髓,适时的发展科技,多兵种联合作战才能发挥舰队作战的最大效率.
舰队维护费是一个不错的东西,它很大程度上限制了舰队的快速扩张,SSE的老玩家肯定都知道,满编舰队空槽的维护费是相当恐怖的,如果经济发展不好,过大的舰队会严重影响经济的发展,特别是对于vasari这个在经济发展上略缓慢的种族(但是感觉对电脑似乎没什么影响,难度较高的电脑舰队很快就满编了).
对于外交这一方面,RTS能做到这方面已经很不错了,在对抗电脑的时候,感觉外交模式更靠近于文明4的外交模式,虽然没有交易科技什么的,但是电脑会给你提供形形色色的任务,并且几乎都是限制时间的.完成任务就能够提升关系,任务失败了也会有相应的惩罚.
在舰队方面,舰船种类有泰坦巨舰,主力舰,巡洋舰,护卫舰,战斗机,轰炸机和炮艇(corvette).不同种舰船相互克制的效果还是很明显的.这种相互克制不仅仅体现在舰船上,种族上也有体现.vasari在对抗advent时,如果开发出相位导弹科技,就会出现盾在血空的情况.虽然这情况在更新版本中因为相位导弹和vasari的整体弱化而变得比较少见,但是vasari对advent的克制还是很明显的.同样trade对vasari的克制就体现在经济上的压制...就是这种克制关系,为游戏塑造了一个良好的平衡体系.对于这游戏更多的就靠玩家们去体验吧.
但是很可惜...这游戏对于游戏背景并没有做太多的说明,仅仅是在开场动画有对背景的简单描述,并且没有单人战役模式,希望在续作里面能加入单人战役模式,这也是让新手玩家们熟悉游戏的好的方法.
游戏地图大小普遍偏大,即使是只有几个星球的小地图,也很容易打上超过半个小时.更不用说游戏自带的大型地图和超大型地图了.游戏中自带的地图生成器功能比较简单,能设定星球的种类和行星群的数量,但是自主设定超时空跳跃路线一类的还是不能实现.一个滑块拉错很可能就会导致星球之间的跳跃路线变得很长很长(或者很短很短),如果要自己自定义地图的话还是要花一段时间来熟悉这个地图生成器的.
总之 ,这是一款很吸引人的游戏,metascore能给出82的高分还是很合理的(虽然我觉得还是稍微低了一点点).不是很复杂的操作,多变的战略,都能成为吸引玩家的优点.一局游戏花费的时间大概在半个小时到10个小时不等(没玩过特大型地图...100多个星球眼睛估计都要看花了)

其他评测基本都把游戏说的差不多了...重复的地方我就不说了...主要说说联机


1.支持本地局域网,亲测可以跟3DM豪华版联机。
2.不同版本之间也可以联机,一个人装了DLC另一个没有也没什么问题,以主机为准
3.自带战网很渣...貌似不是直联,要有ICO中转...反正本人在任何网下跟基友联机都很卡

总体来说是一个中规中矩的慢节奏RTS...嗯,确实节奏超慢...调满速的节奏还赶不上war3

这就是一个披着宇宙题材的传统RTS,撇去太空题材的外衣,这游戏和星际魔兽本质上没有任何区别。平面战斗,靠数据平衡兵种,主题就是侦查侦查框框A。喜欢传统RTS游戏的玩家可以尝试,但如果你的兴趣点是星辰大海的话,还不如去玩星际之剑系列。
40美刀的原价也是扯淡,这游戏真值这个价格?游戏里的战舰细节糟糕得不行,炮塔动画都没有,这可是家园这种老游戏都能做到的玩意啊喂!10美刀不能更多----如果你要入这游戏,最好等打折。

Great Game!

Pros:
One of the best strategy games i have played!!!
This game is a really good fuse of TBS and RTS, and has provided me with endless fun (most of which was on my old account)
Also, even if you get bored (which i doubt you ever will), the mods and workshop items will keep you interested.
There are no significant bugs and software malfunctions, which means that the developer has put a lot of effort into it
The soundtrack is also great.
The gameplay is crafted to perfection
Endless possibilities.
The game also lets you make your own maps, and the multiplayer is just amazing.
The difficulty of the AI is just all right, not too easy, not too hard.
I only tried a few of the tutorial missions, but they appear to be carefully made too.

Cons:
This game does have a steep learning curve though, but after one hour (For Me At Least, w/ out tutorials) you will get the hang of it.
The fighting scene for this game is not very blazing, as it is just a few ships staying there firing a few shots at each other. Not very visually pleasing.
New ships will say a quote after the construction is finished. This is not an issue if you are only constructing a few flagships, but it gets irritating when you are producing 100 frigates at a time. Just a repeated "All Coordinates accounted for" for 100 times.

太空科幻的游戏一般都要拿来跟eve做比较,什么枪骑兵、家园、x3那些。一般来说都是射击、策略的为主,但这款游戏不是这样的,这是一款即时战略游戏。建厂、科研、出兵、推过去、抢矿、占星球,继续建厂、科研、出兵、推过去……,上手不难,教程走一编就基本上都掌握了。而且steamcn有汉化mod,下载了丢我的文档这游戏的mod文件夹,进游戏开mod就是中文了。

即时战略来讲的话,这款游戏除了科幻元素吸引人之外,游戏性也很高,里面的主舰具有英雄的那种升级元素,通过战斗经验升级新的技能,另外虽然都是星图没有即时战略的地图考量,但是只有一颗首都星,其他殖民星球如离的越远,忠诚就会低,越难打理。游戏还有策略游戏中的文化和外交,高文化同化度容易夺取其他种族的星球政权,外交嘛……和帝国时代的外交差不多,都开打了还交啥?

海盗也加强了,各种新科技和漂亮的战舰,对,漂亮的战舰!就是冲着各种战船才喜欢科幻太空游戏的!而且这游戏的优化挺不错的,个人感觉太阳帝国原罪最好玩就是这一代,向各位太空科幻迷们强烈推荐!
