Despre acest joc

The Next Installment to the Award-Winning RTS.
While many were hopeful that diplomacy would finally end the war, differing opinions on what should be done, along with the depleted power of the controlling factions, has led to a splintering of the groups involved.

The loyalist members of the Trader Emergency Coalition adopt a policy of isolation, focusing on enhanced defenses to ride out the rest of the war. Those who rebel against the coalition take on a purely militant view, coming to the opinion that the only way to bring peace is by ultimately crushing all who oppose them - especially xenos.

For the first time in their history, the war creates a schism in the Advent Unity. The loyalists seek to continue their policy of revenge against the Traders, and to assimilate all others to the Unity’s influence. However, others amongst the Advent suspect that a corrupting influence from within has diverted the Unity from its proper destiny.

The divide created in the Vasari Empire is less pronounced, but just as severe to their people. With the Vasari now practically frantic to move on to new space, the loyalist faction abandons cooperation and decides to take the resources they need by any means necessary. Having accepted the need to work together, the rebel faction feels that their best chance for survival is to work with the other races and bring them along to flee the approaching enemy.

Take the battle for galactic supremacy to its ultimate level in Sins of a Solar Empire: Rebellion – a standalone RT4X game that combines the tactics of real-time strategy with the depth of the 4X genre (eXplore, eXpand, eXploit, eXterminate).

Key features:

  • New Factions: Decide whether to play as a Loyalist or Rebel – each unlocks new technologies, ships and play styles for each race.
  • New Titan Class Warships: Mighty titans enter the fray of the war to tip the scales of power. Each faction may field their own unique titan, drawing upon unique strengths and abilities on the battlefield.
  • New and Updated Capital Ships: A new capital ship joins the fleet for each race to offer even more tactical options. Additionally, all existing capital ships have been upgraded to four levels for their abilities, allowing players to focus their ships along specific strengths.
  • New Corvette Class Ships: Small and maneuverable, each faction has developed a new light attack craft to harass enemy forces.
  • Updated Visuals: Updated graphics, particle effects, lighting and shadows, race specific UI and other enhancements make the Sins’ universe look better than ever.
  • New Victory Conditions: Take multiple paths to victory including – Military, Diplomatic, Research, Last Flagship Standing, Last Capital Standing and Occupation.

This game has all the set ups to be one of the BEST strategy games I have ever played. I have been a fan from 2008 of this game. All the way from first release. It has grown to be pure AWESOME when steam got it on its list!

The strategic possibilitys are as endless as are your skills.

-Full out assault (Recomended to beginners)
-Increased fleet size and control of planets (Mid style)
-Building bad ♥♥♥ star bases to protect your planets and building superior TITAN to increase fleets fire power while maintaining pirate missions on other players trouble and keeping trade routes safe (HARDCORE)
-Only your style is the limit!

The games scale is insane in good way!
From strike craft size to full galazy just by rolling the mouse wheel 4 times... WOOT?? Yes, you read correctly.
The best part is the total control of your full area by super easy way.

Oh yes, did I mention this game is real time. So no need to wait what is gonna happen. And believe me, alot will happen!

I highly recommend to buy those 2 DLC pacs (Forbidden Worlds, Stellar Phenomena) too for they increase the variety of game styles and makes your game even more different with few twist (NOT GONNA SPOIL)

And community drives hard! Online is the best choise for that is where the knowledge is!

Some information about the game itself:

- Tutorial goes from basic to advanced
- No missions to play, just full galazys to conquer
- Up to 8 factions to choose from with own unique strategys to offer
- Unique ship styles
-Up to 2000 (!!) fleet supply and that does not inclue strike craft supply!
- Up to 8 player maps
- Very good selection of maps to choose from. From small map to INSANE over 100 planets and if DLCs inclue... (SPOILER!!)

I let you ofcourse to make the decision but there are only two sides, Allys or rebels... No between!

But to make this bowl of overflowing honey some bittersweet I must warn you:
THIS GAME EATS ALOT OF RESOURCES FROM YOUR COMPUTER!!

HARDCORE VETERAN

In the grim darkness of the 41st millenium, there is only war. Mankind fights an endless - no wait sorry, that's a different game. It's not even an original video game, it was based on a tabletop game. This is a completely different game.

Thousands of years in the future, the ways of war have been forgotten (oh my god, this is literally the exact opposite of 40k, how did I get those two mixed up, what'm I like?) and an era of peace and prosperity has been ushered in for mankind.

Then the aliens came. Fleeing from a terror they know nothing about, they laid waste to the outer worlds and took humanity completely by surprise.

Then, because when things go wrong they go really wrong, a faction of exiled psionics returned after their long exodus calling themselves the Advent, also laying waste to the outer worlds. Man, the outer worlds really suck. If I lived in space, I'd stay the hell away from outer worlds of any kind. They're always full of criminals or the first to be hit by an invasion or whatever, always live near the centre of a space empire. Remember the Star Wars prequels? Actually, don't remember the Star Wars prequels, they were awful. But the Outer Rim sucked in those too. Well everything sucked, but the Outer Rim especially.

Anyway, the traders united to form the TEC, or Traders' Emergency Coalition, to fight off the other two armies and none of this is relevant at all. Seriously.

Wait, let me check... Nope, definitely irrelevant. I can't find a campaign mode anywhere. Why would they do that? Who does that!? Who writes a backstory and then gives no story!?

Well alright then. It's a space RTS. Instead of soldiers, you blow up spaceships. You conquer planets. You play as one of the three factions mentioned above, as either Loyalist or Rebel. In many matches, this is all to get the resources for building a really big spaceship called a Titan, and those are awesome. They've got great abilities. Vasari (aliens) Loyalists get a Titan that can eat spaceships. And Advent Rebels get a Titan that can heal itself as your other ships are blown up. The TEC just get boring grey stuff for boring grey humans.

A single match can last anywhere from a few hours to a week. Actually, if it lasts for a few hours, that's because someone has ragequit.

The final verdict is, it's a unique and fun RTS about blowing up spaceships, which is pretty much every sci-fi fan's dream. It's not without bugs or cheating AI, but it's definitely worth buying if you want a decent game to play with friends.
