When we reveal our next character, Marvel Puzzle Quest will have its own Vitruvian Man!

Gameplay
- Team-Up tiles shattered in a cascade now reward the proper amount of Team-Up AP.
- Fixed a couple of rare cases where multiple help pop-ups appearing at once could block progress in the Tutorial.
- Fixed a situation where you could wind up with missing character and tile graphics, preventing you from playing, if you lost network connection at a particular moment when first starting the game.

UI
- Added a confirmation dialog when spending Hero Points to recall characters that you've sent to help your alliance mates.
- Fixed a rounding error that caused the cost to recall characters that you've sent to help your alliance mates to be slightly too high.
- Fixed an issue that could cause the number of tokens shown on the Recruit Heroes button to become out of sync with the number of tokens you actually have.
- Closed an exploit that allowed players to remain shielded longer than they should have been.
- Closed an exploit that allowed players to create an alliance without spending Iso-8.

Character
- Loki's Trickery now converts all enemy Protect tiles to friendly Strike tiles (instead of a maximum of 4).
- Fixed a bug where Black Panther's Battleplan would create 6 Strike tiles instead of 3 if you fired it when you had exactly 12 Team-Up AP.
- When Punisher's Retribution triggers Deadpool's Life of the Party, the damage done to Deadpool will now be based on Deadpool's health, instead of the health of the character Punisher targeted.

Gameplay

- Fixed a couple methods by which players could have Team-Ups equipped despite those characters being on their or the enemy teams

- Countdown tiles placed by Team-Up abilities will no longer be cleared when a character is downed

- Team-Up selections are now remembered across battles if they were unused in a battle

- Fixed an issue where Boosts were sometimes not being remembered across battles

- Fixed an issue where using Sell All with large numbers of covers in the Comic Cache would crash the game

- Train button in roster management glows when you have enough Iso-8 to level the selected character.

- Fixed an issue where, if you had multiple identical Team-Ups and equipped one, the others would also appear equipped in the Team-Up inventory.

- Improved description of how to gain Deadpool Points

- Fixed instances of flickering and fading on opening some UI screens such as the Character Info Panel in battle

- Updated the Title screen

- Captain Marvel's Energy Absorption now properly displays AP gain when used by the enemy

The developer and publisher for this game treat their playerbase as cows to be milked with overpriced micro-transactions and have proven not to be above actively neutering play options in an effort to squeeze more cash out of players.

Story time:
On the official forums of the publisher a 'discussion' thread was started by the developer on a very controversial change regarding the game's hit point healing mechanic. This triggered an unforeseen and unprecedented unanimous response to a change that everyone was up in arms against. This thread eventually grew into 30(!) pages of nothing but negative feedback, ranging from warnings that the change would break the game, to full blown alternate solutions (solutions to a problem that many don't even acknowledge exists). But most of all; people calling it out for the cash grab that it was.

This was the last in a long, long line of controversial changes to the detriment of the quality of the game. This time though, the response got ugly enough for one of the actual forum moderators to stand up and abuse his moderator powers by stealth-editing the developer's opening post by adding an additional line of text to the section that clarified the reasoning behind the change to the healing mechanic. Said added line simply stated: "also: money", a blatant jab at the conduct of the publisher and developer over the course of this history of changes aimed at pumping up the monetization in the game.

As of this writing, said moderator has been banned, the developer's one-sided idea of a 'discussion' has ended and the change has been pushed through unaltered and in full effect immediately, game-wide. Including taking effect in running PvP or PvE events close to finishing time, where people were already deeply invested into strategizing their finishing runs.

The current fallout is enormous. The developer is silent. And why wouldn't they be, when their admitted business credo is "this too shall pass":

"This too shall pass – While you need to expect and accept that there will be a backlash and the first couple of days will be painful, give it a few days before you judge the results. In the early days of MPQ, Ragnarok was massively overpowered and the day we changed it players were furious. A week later, it was no longer a topic of widespread conversation."


(For the record; try mentioning Ragnarok to some of the veteran players and find out just how much it is 'no longer a topic of widespread conversation'.)

This game was/is not much different then many other match 3 games except that you use characters to beat up other characters.

It was quite fun and a way to waste a few hours just battling it out. But then they did a few changes which made it so that if you wanted to progress you had to do whats called grinding (for those that don't know, thats when you have to spend 5 or 6 hours playing just to keep up with others playing). This made things less fun.

Now for the biggest change, if you have any characters that can heal the team during combat its called false healing. Basically what happens is that while in a round, they will heal your characters, but soon as its done, any and all damage that was done to your character during a round gets applied to your characters, which means they will more then likely be instantly down and you have to wait somewhere between 3 and 14 hours for them to heal.

So now instead of being able to play for a couple of hours, you're lucky if you get in a couple of rounds that can last about 5 to 10 minutes at most and then you need to wait till the next day (least for those of us with families, work and who require sleep) to play for another 10 minutes and then wait.

They wanted to stop people from using their healing characters in story mode to heal their wounded characters and instead buy heath packs, which cost Hero Points which while they do come in game, they are very rare in game and they expect more people to buy Hero Points so they can buy health pack. This has basically turned the game into pay 2 win game, well it was before but now its much worse.

The majority of people who play F2P games will never actually put money into free 2 play games. Once it gets to the point where they are spending more then a few hours playing and not being able to keep up with their friends, they loose interest and leave, and start bad mouthing the game, which causes people not to go play that game, which means the game looses lots of money.


So for now I can not recommend this game. Maybe if the devs wise up and actually listen to the community and things go back to how they were a couple of months ago, may I will start playing again and maybe even recommend this game, but lots of things have to change.

This game used to be fun you used to be able to actually play the game for around as long as you want.
Now since the nerf of 06/25/14 I couldn't suggest it to my worst enemy.
Your "allowed" to play the game as long as you have health packs.
After your health packs are gone then you have to pay hard cash, or wait forever for your characters to heal.
My surmise run from this game as if it's the plague.

After 280 hours played, I'm finally done with the game. But at the very least I should be able to give people a very thorough review of the game.

At 280 hours played, the game can't be that bad, right? So why stop now?

The core of the game is still really cool. You build up a roster of Marvel heroes and villians and level them up to build a stronger and stronger team. And the devs support the game relatively well with new events and new heroes so there is always something to do.

Still, they just pushed it too far. This game isn't really a game, it's a second job. I see no way to play this game casually, either you are all in or you are out. Every two weeks there is a new hero, accompanied by a 10 day long PvE event that's a pure battle of attrition to defend a placement in the leaderboards high enough to get the new hero. If you don't? Without the new hero you'll have already lost in the next tournament. The new always gives a insurmountable advantage for the next. There is no way to escape this sweatshop.

And the PvE events are less fun with each iteration. ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ rubber banding and level scaling makes PvE tournaments an exercise in frustration and disappointment. Have a maxed out Lv141 roster? Enjoy being beaten in placement by Level 50 teams, because their enemies get scaled to level 20 and take 1 minute each while you slog it out against Lv300 enemies with 10k HP each.

And then the PvP tournaments... They used to be great. But then they changed the match making algorithm so that now every fight is a tired slog. And since there is now always an Alliance season running, you HAVE to do well in every single PvP tournament non stop or you are letting down your alliance.

Alliances are another thing... they are great socially. But the pressure they put you under is enourmous. And again, it's all in or all out. Without being in a good alliance, you'll miss 30% of each tournament's reward! You might as well not bother if you aren't in an alliance.

And the time commitment required to stay in the game is 2 hours EVERY SINGLE DAY. And even that is sometimes not enough, with ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ ending times in the middle of the night for EU players which means all your effort is wasted thanks to rubber banding of US players near the end of the tournament while you are sleeping.

Just do yourself a favor and don't get involved in this game. It's a bottomless black hole that you can't escape from.

Why I quit now and not weeks ago? Season 1 just ended and I could finally leave without ♥♥♥♥ing over my alliance. They are great people and they didn't deserve being abandoned halfway through the season.

顧名思義,戰鬥部分和Puzzle Quest相同,但是其它部分設計得很浪費時間(還有錢)
任務可以重複解,但很難領到限定數量的獎勵
任務及PVP部分血量共通無法兼顧
血量回復慢,在等級及血量提高時要花上小時回滿
有收集英雄的要素,但增加欄位要花錢

如果真的要免費玩這款"Free to Play"遊戲的話
將Hero points用在增加英雄欄位上吧
可以延後放棄這款遊戲的時間
