9/10 Game Play -
I like transform-fighting machine such as VF series in Macross. This game have mostly suited me, the process of fierce battle is extremely fun. But the game could be better.

7/10 Graphics -
The backgrounds universe is beautiful, but the screen is still somewhat simple and crude.

9/10 Sound -
The game has its distinctive music, I enjoy myself when flying and fighting. People who have bought the mega bundle can download them.

6/10 Difficulty -
People may find it hard to control the plane well, omni-directional flight can also make someone dizzy.

7/10 Lasting Appeal -
Just singleplayer mod with 3 level of difficulty, you can play over and over again to reach a high score, but times you must find it boring.

Total Score - 38/50 Sehr Gut

I really wish I could recommend this game. It has so much going for it, and I wanted to enjoy it quite a bit. The controls, however, render it all but unplayable.

It's a beautiful game. Built by a small team, it looks fantastic. And if you're like me, you've wanted to strap into a transforming starfighter mecha for a long, long time. This looked like the perfect little game - not too long, not too short, and leagues of potential.

It started rough, piloting a starfighter for a couple missions and blasting through debris, enemy fighters, and some small capitol ships. It wasn't perfect, but I accepted a bit of a learning curve (I've never been great at dogfighting segments of other games, so I was ready to have to work up my skill here). Once I hit the third mission and was given the titular Strike Suit, it all went to hell.

Immediately bombarded with far more targets and action on the screen than up to this point, it was extremely hard to tell what was happening, where to go, or what to do. They give you a nice targetting arrow, but when the whole screen is constantly flashing red and the sounds of explosions are flooding everything, that little red arrow is tricky to find. So it's total sensory overload, but even that could be overcome IF the damned strike suit could maneuver with any degree of control. It cannot.

I reduced the mouse sensetivity to the lowest possible settings, and still the slightest twitch of my hand had my targetting reticule flying all over the screen. I spent 20 minutes trying to get a handle on how this was supposed to work, but finally gave up. No matter what I did, the strike suit careened around wildly and utterly out of control, making it impossible to try and pursue objectives, lock onto targets, or generally have any clue what was going on.

Maybe it's me. Obviously others have played and completed the game, and obviously some have really enjoyed it. But my experience was that it was impossible to control the ship, and so impossible to enjoy the game. Perhaps using a flight stick controller makes a difference, I don't know. Maybe players more expert in flight games can make a better go of it.

But, if you're like me and are a starfighter/mecha enthusiast but not an old hand at flight games, you might want to give this one a pass. I got it for $5 and played for around 2 hours before walking away. That's about the return on investment of a movie ticket, so I'm not angry, but I can't say I'm happy either.

I really enjoyed playing this game. It just looks really pretty and that your space ship can transform is just funny.
And i really liked the fac that objectives are clearly noticable on the map because i usually lose the way in this kindoff games.
The only problem i had were that in the last map if you hit a wall its just hard to get control again over your space ship.
The game itself is a bit short in my opinion but i really enjoyed playing it and it was definitely worth my time and money.
So in easy words:

Pros:
- Beautiful Game
- Your ship can suddenly transform ( To funny )
- Different endings

Cons:
- For somereason the controls arent that easy
- If you hit a wall you are mostly marked to death in the last mission

Rating: 7/10

A colorful space shooter hampered by mediocre controls, it's a step above its arcade cousin by having a storyline and a more gradual difficulty curve. It proved impossible to play with mouse, keyboard or even joystick, requiring me to plug in a gamepad, much to my disgust. Its flashy graphics are often overwhelming, to the point I more than once had difficulty actually seeing the enemies past all the explosions. A lack of variety in enemy ships and tactics and too much reliance on timed missions (especially the absolutely terrible final mission) hampered my involvement with the title. Still, it frenetic combat had its moments and - especially given the desert of space-sims these days - I could hardly turn my nose up at any offering. Flawed it may have been, but still fun.
