9/10 Game Play -
I like transform-fighting machine such as VF series in Macross. This game have mostly suited me, the process of fierce battle is extremely fun. But the game could be better.

7/10 Graphics -
The backgrounds universe is beautiful, but the screen is still somewhat simple and crude.

9/10 Sound -
The game has its distinctive music, I enjoy myself when flying and fighting. People who have bought the mega bundle can download them.

6/10 Difficulty -
People may find it hard to control the plane well, omni-directional flight can also make someone dizzy.

7/10 Lasting Appeal -
Just singleplayer mod with 3 level of difficulty, you can play over and over again to reach a high score, but times you must find it boring.

Total Score - 38/50 Sehr Gut

I really enjoyed Strike Suit Zero up until the point that I didn't. For the most part, Strike Suit Zero was a really fun and well done starfighter-like game. However, the very last mission was poorly made. It's dull and requires you to listen to a very long dialogue from a certain character. If you mess up, you got to start all over again and enjoy getting your ear talked off. I don't want to say much about the final mission at the risk of spoiling something for those who might want to see for themselves. But a fair warning to those who pick up this game, it is quite literally unplayable. The design was not built for mouse and keyboard controls, maybe a joystick... but it sucks so bad visually that I don't think even that would help.

Despite all that, I had a fun time playing Strike Suit Zero. Some of the missions proved to be frustrating with their oddball objectives that required you to do things in a very specific way to avoid failing the mission. But for those of you who remember games like Star Wars: Tie Fighter or Rogue Squadron might like to check this one out.

Final Verdict: (3 out of 5)

Rating may have been way higher if it wasn't for that final mission.

I really enjoyed playing this game. It just looks really pretty and that your space ship can transform is just funny.
And i really liked the fac that objectives are clearly noticable on the map because i usually lose the way in this kindoff games.
The only problem i had were that in the last map if you hit a wall its just hard to get control again over your space ship.
The game itself is a bit short in my opinion but i really enjoyed playing it and it was definitely worth my time and money.
So in easy words:

- Beautiful Game
- Your ship can suddenly transform ( To funny )
- Different endings

- For somereason the controls arent that easy
- If you hit a wall you are mostly marked to death in the last mission

Rating: 7/10

Strike Suit Zero is a fairly pretty but poorly executed game. Little thought was put into what makes a game fun rather than frustrating. You will most likely spend half of the game trying to accommodate its awkward control layout and the other half regenerating your shields.

The controls aren't at all natural. It will take a few levels until you learn to adjust to the clumsiness of it all. Once you do you'll immediately be hit with a completely different control scheme as the "Strike Suit" mechanic comes into play, turning your space ship into a powerful mech warrior. The transition between control schemes is jarring and hard to get used to, I'm not sure I'll ever really be comfortable with the switch.

There will be times when the enemy A.I. will play dirty and seemingly cheat. They are incredibly accurate and agile, with the ability to stay directly out of your line of sight no matter how fast you turn. They can manage to fire directly at you at a 90 degree angle from hundreds of metres away and hit every shot. They will also often fly in groups, sometimes four or five abreast, in order to take you down. Meanwhile your team mates are miles away fighting their own one-on-one battles.

When the time comes that a mission requires you to carry an extremely valuable payload with a disadvantaged vehicle, you will often have to "lone wolf" the entire mission. On the other hand, when you're in a capable enough vehicle, you're often tasked with protecting similar ships in similar circumstances. For some reason when it's your turn there is no one around to help which is incredibly unfair as you're left to pick off the enemy one by one with a less than capable ship when it shouldn't have to be your job.
