I really enjoyed playing this game. It just looks really pretty and that your space ship can transform is just funny.
And i really liked the fac that objectives are clearly noticable on the map because i usually lose the way in this kindoff games.
The only problem i had were that in the last map if you hit a wall its just hard to get control again over your space ship.
The game itself is a bit short in my opinion but i really enjoyed playing it and it was definitely worth my time and money.
So in easy words:

Pros:
- Beautiful Game
- Your ship can suddenly transform ( To funny )
- Different endings

Cons:
- For somereason the controls arent that easy
- If you hit a wall you are mostly marked to death in the last mission

Rating: 7/10

Strike Suit Zero is a great indie title. I am sorry I waited so long to play this game. I bought it as a bundle and the game sat on my inventory collecting cyber dust for several months. It is a great standard space shooter. If you just want to get better at dog-fighting, this is your game. If you are looking more of a space sim with trading and stuff, this is NOT your game. However, the game is very good at what is does. The battles go from easy to hard in the blink of an eye. You will find yourself fleeing away from enemy fleet laser cannons and turrets quiet often. Contrary to popular belief, I found the controls of this game to be very good and responsive. I can see how people who are not very good at dog fighting can argue that the controls are bad. Don't listen to them. The game is fast pace and YOU need to be fast, YOU need to be responsive. I found myself switching between weapons and third/first person mode CONSTANTLY, just so I could get the shot I wanted for the easy kill. The game has bright colors, great music, and explosions...lots of them!!

Strike Mode

I loved the concept of Strike mode. Basically, as you progress along you get a new ship that’s has the ability to transform into a mean robot looking beast that takes out everything is its path. The best thing about it is that if you are not into that sort of thing, you don't have to use it. Simple!

In short: The game is very good at space combat. It is hard (hard=good) with good controls and I'm yet to see a bug or crash.

Once again, great Indie space title. Play it!

Strik Suit Zero is a very refreshing take on the tried-and-true SpaceDogfighting formula, and has drained away a lot of my time, despite Steam claiming otherwise. The gameplay is phenominal, it's like playing the balls of god- if they were deep-fried and required a gamepad. The visuals are very flashy, suprisingly bright, and very pleasing to look at; despite not being "up-to-par" they definately deserve some praise, because I've never seen so many ♥♥♥♥ing light trails. Not even in Tron: Legacy. The soundtrack is a very calming, yet tense J-Pop-esque compiliation of themes that give me eargasms, and when combined with the sound effects, will make you spaz out in a pool of your own urine. The story sucks. There's nothing that could redeem it, really, read a synopsis. It sucks. Luckily, you'll be so immersed, that you will care about every character anyways, two-dimensional or not. Also, the A.I is pretty great if you ramp it up to hard, other-wise you might find it a peice of cake. HOWEVER difficulty is insane if you want the ideal ending, requiring borderline suicial amounts of replays to accomplish, and getting the other suits is like being casterated by a tiger. Overall, pick this up over the DX unless you really want an actual story or ninja mechs. Strike Suit Zero gets an 8/10

Strike Suit Zero is an interesting space Mecha game. Although the Mecha designation might not be the best here. First of all you are the only who can transform from a normal space ship fighter to a mecha which is much more powerful, however also more stationary. And there is only ship capable of transforming and you don't even have access to it all of the time. Most importantly perhaps is that your time in the Mech mode is limited, you can transform as soon as you gather a little bit of energy (which you can do automatically and very slowly over time, or quickly by destroying enemies), but you also quickly expend that energy simply by firing on your opponents. It seems that the only way they managed to balance the game is by limiting how long you can stay in the more fun Mech mode.

The targeting system also isn't very helpful, and there is no overview of what kind of enemies you're fighting. So the only way for you to get an overview of the situation is by actually looking around. That becomes very problematic in the later missions when you're tasked with protecting your fleet and you've got multiple enemy cruisers coming down on them, with your main objective being to destroy the beam cannons which do massive damage to your fleet. However as there is no overview there is no good way to be sure that you've actually neutralized the biggest threats. Unless you know for a fact how many of each ship is out there, which of course you'll only learn once you've failed the mission and that is simply not good game design.

Background music for the game is very nice, however it can become quite repetitive as there isn't much variety there.

The story itself is very generic, but still passable and kept my attention to the end (which comes quite quickly though), which is more than most other similar games can do.

All in all, the game isn't anything special but it's fun to play, at least through its short campaign.
