Windows 8.1 Fix

There was an issue with Windows 8.1 that prevented the game from running. This has been fixed by adding the VC++ 2010 redistributable to the install.

A side note on the OSX version: newer versions of OSX depreciated key library functions that cause the 2.0 update to not work on anything past 10.6. The fix requires changing the graphics libraries for the game, which would take a bit of work that I haven't had the time to do.

有意思的游戏。扮演一个灯跑去吧地图点亮。途中陆续获得各种能力。
开始还有一点解密的味道。但是当你逐渐获得一些超级跳BT能领后。你所要做的就是去开地图。开地图爱好者专用游戏!
就像有人说的“玩恶魔城地图完成度升到最高就不舒服的人,一定要玩玩这个。”
当完成度87%的时候,我就想要放弃这个游戏。当时硬生生的多玩了5个小时才获得全成就。不说两个不看攻略完全发现不了的隐藏房间。单单是不合理的设计。一不小心超级跳到一个房间,不能原路返回。你只能上十多分钟绕大半张地图才能回去。
耐心逐渐消磨掉后,剩余的只有无边的狂躁。
是个好游戏,但不建议你完成它。

很有趣也很与众不同的Metroidvania游戏,游戏将核心放在了地图探索方面,整个游戏除了最终Boss之外再也没有其他战斗。

玩家扮演安培树系统的维护机器人,为了恢复因迷之入侵者而断电的安培树系统四处奔波。游戏的探索感不仅体现在由150个独立房间组成的大地图上,也体现在每一个房间内部:每个房间在进入时都是漆黑一片的,所以玩家必须摸黑找到每个电力节点的位置并将其一一点亮。玩家在游戏过程中也会拿到诸如传送、大跳等能力,如何使用这些能力顺利点亮一个房间也是游戏的一大乐趣。看着全黑的地图一点点被点亮也还是挺有成就感的。

游戏的缺点主要集中在大地图太瞎眼上,后期地图完成度在99%左右大地图完全不能给你提供有效的信息。同时在拿到S2机关Infinite Upgrade无限电池之后即便进入没有点亮的房间电量也会显示满格,无法判断房间内的剩余节点还有几个,虽然在无限电池的淫威下这点几乎可以忽略不计……

总之,游戏的探索氛围浓厚,带有一定的动作和解谜要素,难度适中,推荐给所有喜欢开地图的玩家。

Imagine your world suddenly plunging into darkness; all the illumination stolen in a flash. This was the case for the tiny hero Plug, who found himself lost among the branches the Amp Tree and began the journey to restore the stolen light of his world. By gaining a sense of direction from the hologram consciousness of the Amp-Tree-System, a fusion of natural flora with a computerized light power grid, Plug must repower the Amp Tree and defeat the Intruder virus before the world stays dark forever.

1000 Amps is an exciting and intuitive platformer. It challenges the player to use Plug's many special abilities, as well as discovering and adapting to new ones, to solve a number of different puzzles across a vast array of connected rooms. Each room is a piece of an incredibly powerful and awesome system with powered-down blocks hidden in every nook and corner. Every room permanently restored brings the player one step closer to stopping the Intruder Virus and saving the Amp Tree. It's a story of an impossibly small, filament-brained hero set in a world of platforms, gaps, and traps. 1000 Amps is sure to light up your day.

Good soundtracks. If you love electronic songs, you will love this game's musics.

One thing I don't like is some room in this game required ability that you will have later so you have to return to solve it after that. It's boring.

I adore this game; 1000 amps is a metroidvania style platformer with the focus being on navigating and illuminating rooms rather than fighting through enemies. Upon entering each room there is total darkness, but as you come in contact with walls they illuminate, allowing you to slowly “feel” your way around. Amongst the plain walls, there are also a handful of light blocks in each room which (if you activate them all) will allow the room to be permanently lit. If you leave a room before touching all the light blocks, all of the revealed surfaces will be erased and you will have to begin again. As the game progresses you will unlock a few powers to help you clear rooms. Each power feels well spaced out and can have a major impact on how you approach each room.
It’s difficult to explain all the nuances of the mechanics behind 1000 Amps, but after only a few minutes playing you will understand completely. This game is beautiful, and the only gripe I have is that the map screen (an absolutely vital component of this type of game) is dreadfully vague and takes a while to figure out exactly what you’re looking at. Other than that, it’s wonderful, and everyone should give it a go.

I really enjoyed 1000 Amps. It's simple but attractive art style makes for a perfect combo with its challanging but simplistic gameplay.
The difficulty ramp was perfect in the beginning with some areas and object that you get the feeling you'll need to come back to at a later date to access.
Puzzles started easy but become harder over time so they require you to think outside of the box you are in.

I never played got to play the original flash version which was a let down for a lot of new players as the map was very small and blurry making looking those last few unexplored areas.... troublesome, to say the least.
One of the secret areas was VERY hard to get to because I lit the room up before accessing it but I did manage to get in after a few minutes.

Overall a fun game to play on the side, challanging, nice music and a great art style.

this game is fairly disappointing even though it was very cheap :( the resolution is horrible and grainy and is unchangeable, and you can often get dumped to a location that's minutes away from where you were at if you step on the wrong platforms...the concept is pretty unique, but the recent upgrade to a non-flash version makes it hard to play the game even in fullscreen. worth trying out if you like puzzle games, but you might be disappointed like i was with it

A nice platformer game with a simplistic design, 1000 Amps is a good game. In it you're controlling a small creature who needs to light up all the rooms of the "Tree" it's trapped in, after a mysterious invader took control of it.

It's more or less a puzzle game, since each room has several nodes you need to step in in order to light it up, and there may "enemies" that turn off the nodes. As you progress, you'll find new abilities to help you in solving the puzzles, and sometimes you'll have to leave rooms unsolved since you lack the abilities to solve it at the time.

The game world is quite big, there's plenty of rooms to explore, and sometimes you'll end up lost. Still, it's by no means frustrating, it's simplistic design gives it a quite relaxing nature. Even then, it's not that long, as each room can be solved in a short time once you have the skills to do it.

I recommend it.

1000 Amps is a simple little platformer where you must go through empty levels, lighting the way. Everything you touch becomes a wall, some sort of platforming obstacle, or node. The goal is to light all of the nodes of each room before progressing. Through the game more power ups and obstacles are introduced, making puzzles become appropriately more challenging. Most rooms had multiple exits, allowing the player to solve rooms in different orders.

The music is repetitive, but easy to listen to. It never bothered me in my hour with the game, but a little more variety would have been nice. The art is really simple, and easy on the eyes. Every detail of the game is distinct and easy to figure out what it means – even the first time coming across it.

Overall 1000 Amps is a well-executed minimalistic non-linear puzzle platformer.

1000 Amps is just like real life.
In my country, there is always a blackout season (the electricity is shutted down by the goverment).
I feels Robo is just like me. Yeah, It's me when I was trying to search for flashlight to light my room.
This is a great game to play when you're bored.

I was one square from lighting up that room at the very top - and then I fell. This forced me to spend another 25 minutes getting back to the room, at which point I was about ready to toss my computer out the window.

And yet somehow I don't hate this game for it. 10/? - would be illogical again. xD

Probably a good platformer, but mechanics get in the way.
There are some "blocks" in the game that move you. "Alright, so what?" you say.
Well, when trying to just go from one room to the next means you have to go through them, so it's a test of skills just to move pretty much.
This game also has really bad optimizations. Playing in fullscreen, widescreen, doesn't do anything but really show you the pixels. Almost as if the game runs in somewhere between 720p and 480p (or less, I can't tell), which looks super weird on a 1080p monitor.

When the game gets optimizations, then start reading the reviews again.

Simple mechanics, well balanced puzzles, satisfying progression, and a simple story that blends with the mechanics.

This is a perfect example of what every aspiring game dev should aim for in their first game.

一款以探索和解谜为主的小游戏,本体仅有16M大,却比意想之外的有意思
游戏中玩家扮演了一只小灯泡状的主角,(根据游戏介绍应该是插座?)你要做的就是点亮你经过的屋子里的每一盏灯,从而让屋子亮起来。在纵横交错的安培树系统中探索并获得能力,利用这些新的能力点亮更多的房间,并且完成最终目的:击败整个安培树系统的神秘入侵者。(是不是有种RPG的感觉w
如同之前提到的,整个游戏只有十几M大小,没有什么称得上绚丽的画面或者音效,看起来简洁到像是不完整的提示和菜单系统,却又五脏俱全。整个游戏仅有黑白一种色调,配合易懂多变的谜题和简洁的美术风格,给人一种眼前一亮的感觉。

·主角的跳跃力来自房间的电力,每点亮一盏灯(靠近)整个房间的电力就会上升,当一个房间的灯全部被点亮后这个房间就处于完成状态,以后再次进入这个房间电力直接就是满的

将主角传送到房间内任何可以看到的空白区域,没有电力的情况下不能使用。传送时会熄灭附近的灯,要适当调整位置来避免灯的熄灭(比如跳起来)很常用的技巧

按↓(S)键使用,发出声波探索房间,可以在没有电力的情况下了解房间全貌,也是很有用的能力
·发光
被动能力,主角自身会随着房间内的电力提升而扩大发光范围,发光可以用来探索和点亮房间内的灯

可以直接干掉你碰到的敌人(敌人会让房间内的灯熄灭
·超级跳跃
在原本的跳跃基础上追加第2次跳跃,仅有当前房间电力为满才能使用,第2次跳跃高度无限(直到碰到障碍物

游戏标题是可以译作1000安培,控制一个灯泡状的机器人以探索地图不停开灯点亮房间为目标,同时解锁新能力去面对最终Boss,也算是挺独特的一个平台解谜游戏

谜题机制是这样的:所有房间一开始都是全黑的,所有墙和平台都看不到,只有被主角触碰到以后那个格子才会显示,房间中有若干潜在的“发光格”,通过触碰点亮发光格以后主角会被充能可以跳的更高,从而去探索房间的其它角落寻找剩下的发光格,点亮所有发光格后Clear该房间

如果仅仅是这个核心机制的话,说实话挺蠢的,不停的瞎撞碰壁,一点技术含量也没有,而且还会脚滑坠落掉出房间令人沮丧(此时玩家需要绕路绕回来或者干脆退出读盘),不过随着角色新能力的解锁,会逐渐变得更加有趣起来,最先解锁的是初期必然会获得的传送能力,点击鼠标就能传送到任何一个空的格子上(当然为了限制传送,作者会把很多格子占掉),在点亮至少一个“发光格”之后任何时候都可以进行传送,不过要注意在Clear房间之前传送会熄灭周围一圈(8格)内的发光格,这个机制引入后游戏的玩法就产生了很大的变化

解锁传送后很快玩家会被扔到一个大中央房间里去,四个路口分别对应了四个新的可解锁能力,偌大的地图需要玩家自己探索,当然很多房间在缺少某种能力时是不可能Clear的。解锁这四个能力后Boss就会出现,不过这个时候去打Boss没有胜算,因为还有藏在地图最上方的“无限能量”能力(不需要通过点亮“发光格”来充能增幅跳跃等等),需要想办法获得之后才能赢——当然,对于开地图强迫症患者来说,全能力解锁后最先要做的是让地图完成率达成100%……因为房间Clear以后借助传送术可以快速穿越,路上也没有怪物挡路,所以对开地图爱好者非常贴心,唯一的问题是游戏内地图画的并不清晰,还不支持局部放大,导致玩家看地图可能找不到剩下哪些房间没有去过或者没有点亮

因为是Flash引擎个人制作的独立小游戏,卖相确实不好,画面简陋还是黑白的,而且在1.3版之前Steam上卖的甚至是Flash外挂版,直到2.0版才整合成独立运行版并支持成就系统(一共十个成就,正常通关就能拿七个,两个是找到隐藏房间,剩下一个则是100%点亮地图,还算是比较容易获得),不过游戏本身我感觉素质还是很不错的,尤其应该推荐给平台解谜游戏爱好者以及那些“不开全地图就浑身难受星人”……

开地图爱好者专用游戏!
含一些解谜和动作要素,不过这不是重点。
玩恶魔城和银河战士不把地图完成度升到最高就不舒服的人,一定要玩玩这个。

In 1000 Amps you are a little roboter. "Robo" is searching for power nodes in rooms to gain more energy for his special abilities. In the beginning everthing is hard. You cannot jump high or teleport. But if you never surrender the labrinth of rooms you will find some very useful powerups that give you the possibiliy to complete the map 100%.
One central question: Is it joyful, to play an indie platformer game in just black and white color? Yes it is! The graphic elements are simple and good working. It looks great when elements glow up and backgrounds have organic forms. And the sound effects makes it even more atmospheric. On the other side you "loose" some rooms again and again if you drop out of the border or accidently jump too high. It can be annoying during the attemps. But in the end there is a challenging boss which you hopefully can beat.
