Informazioni sul gioco

Corre l'anno 2051.

  • Boss imponenti
  • Vincitore del Jikkyo Play Contents Award di agosto del 2008

Fantastic shmup game. It has all the features of a high quality Japanese Shmup game. The difficulty is very good.

I have been playing a few shmups of late mostly on my megadrive, Gynoug,Thunderforce 4, Rtype 3 on the GBA and also Gradius rebirth on the WII. Thunderforce being my favoirate shmup. This although not as good as Thunderforce is still a pretty good shmup for only a couple of quid probably on par with Gradius Rebirth in quality however is more playable due to the lower difficulty. Powerful feeling weopens, plenty of onscreen action with a tirade of bullets and enemies barely allowing you to escape by the skin of your teeth. Should tide me over until I buy hellfire or Musha (probably a repro at these prices) on the megadrive.

I'm a huge fan of Gradius, and I mean a really huge fan, when I saw this game,. I wasn't expecting much, but I'll admit this is a good tribute to the series. This is a good Gradius clone with some mechanics added. For one thing you can alter your weapons in each of it's six stages. There's a good variety, especially the homing weapon which are the hunters from Thunder Force. The stages themselves are nice, but will challenge you as you progress, and it doesn't get easy on the higher difficulties. Graphica are good, and the music is good, especially the boss theme.

This game has some of the Gradius features in them. It has bosses with cores you have to destrou, even a boss rush with those Zubs that appear and hone in on you, especially a secret boss on the boss rush on hard diffiuclt like Heaven's Gate from Gradius Gaiden. It even has a damn speed section that I always struggle on, as well as a walker on the last stage like in Gradius II. If you're a fan of Gradius, you'll love this.

If you go in looking for a 'Gradius' style game 'SATAZIUS' fits the bill very well. However, cribbing off an aged format keeps 'SATAZIUS' from moving the genre forward and including more modern features.

The graphics while off-putting hides an extremely competent shooter. I was surprised by how tight the control was as well as the usefulness of the upgrades. I made it to the 2nd phase of the 1st boss fight before I realized that steam link isn’t the way to play this.

As hard as R-type and just as fun. Will be finishing this one for sure

Pretty good shmup. Lot's of stuff to shoot and dodge. Even with all the things on screen at once, no slow down at all.

Biggest gripe would be probably be the weird configuration when using the steam controller. Can't seem to configure properly and right now, the B button is set as the exit or quit button. You can imagine how irritating this can be when you're doing really well and you accidentally hit that button.

Highly recommended - one of the best horizontal/(with vertical movement of screen sometimes also!) scrolling shoot 'em ups I've played on Steam. Your ship wil become very powerful very fast - with really nice enemies and explosions. Love the graphics and gameplay on this. Now with Steam Achievements also. High recommended especially at sale price. Works well with xbox 360 controller. I'd imagine Steam Controller works welll also although haven't tried it.

It's a well-made traditional STG (as in a non bullet hell) unlike Astro Port's other STG Super Robot Vulkaiser (which is bullet hell).

It's enough like Gradius that I would certainly recommend it if you are a fan of that series. It features a very simalar aesthetic and shares some of the retro design philosophies (I.E being in the right place at the right time) that made the earlier games irritating, but it's nowhere near as unforgiving. You choose your weapons as you would in Gradius, a primary, two switchable sub-weapons and powerful charge weapon.

Your weapons are pretty much ripped straight from other STGs. Gradius, mainly, but you even have the Hunter from Thunder Force.

The powerups work differently. Intead of collecting cores from enemies to highlight a bar you collect them from stationary boxes and each core has a letter on it. S for sheild, and a P for power which powers up either you main, your equipped Sub, or your charge.

Bosses are also exteremely easy. You won't need to aim for the core and a few of them will even go down with a single hit from your charge weapon.

When people said this was similar to Gradius they weren't kidding. There are numerous instances of deja vu for fans of shooters such as Gradius, Darius, R-Type, and Axelay. That's not a bad thing and it still manages to be a great shooter on its own. There are better shooters out there, but considering the scarcity of shooters in this vein nowadays, it's still a worthwhile expierience.

This game is so intense! This is one of this hardcore side-scrolling shooters that you don't even know what is going on the screen. Cool feature is that you can choose from many weapons from the beginning. Gameplay is really fun and unpredictable.

This is the best side scrolling old-school shooter I've ever played! Very enjoyable, first choose your loadout based on the enemies in the level. Then kill everything on the screen, pick up power ups to help you defeat the very challenging but satisfying boss fights! Highly Reccomended!

Niv score : 90

P.S, it also appears Capcom is experimenting with trading cards using this game, you'll notice this game is not marked it has cards but it does! C'mon Capcom cards for everything!

An excellent, traditional shoot-'em-up from Astro Port.

From the colourful, weighty visual work and sound direction to some of the strongest '80s/90s-style' shooter game design I've seen in a while, nearly every aspect of Satazius comes together to make for a thrilling game all around. Pad controls generally feel good, the action is exciting, the game is suitably twitch-based and the whole thing is just a joy to play.

Recommedend to all shoot-'em-up fans. In fact, I'm sure even a few with little experience in the genre will have a good time, considering how slick a of a production this is.

But mainly, it's just good fun. You do like fun, right? No? How about millions of explosions then?

Satazius is HARD, There's no getting away from that fact, this game will make you want to pull hair off parts of your body you did not even know you had hair on. Satazius features an arsenal of 13 types of upgradeable weapons, power-ups, obstacles and boss encounters that arcade veterans will enjoy getting to grips with. Customize your ship by selecting two side weapons which can be selected at any time during and a charge attack to unleash massive destruction.

This game is not for the casual gamer as even i struggle to get to grips with its seemingly bipolar difficulty curve, good luck guys i highly recommend this game to the bullet hell "vet" out there. The sound track is great, its a metal retro mix of high speed loops and fast guitar riffs that really set the mood and get your blood pumping.

At first navigating the menus can be a hassle as the game does not tell you what button is mapped to Enter is Z if your wondering, apart from that the menus are simple and easy enough to navigate and the game even supports gamepad support, however i have not tried to use it myself so that's a mystery i shall leave to you guys.

I was actually fairly impressed with the graphics in this game, granted there nothing spectacular however if this game was released alongside with r-type HD it would defiantly have given it a run for its money, as this games has a much higher pixel density and the animations are so fluid they look almost as good as another game called intrusion 2 witch features one of the best animated boss's i have ever seen

So the bottom line this game has great features and a great soundtracks but does not do anything new and fresh to this genre and missed out on a mark here, however with that said if your feeling a little bit sadistic then go on put your patience to the test, this game for me gets.....

Even though "Shoot 'em Up", is not my favourite genre, I had a good time playing Satazius.

There's nothing special about the gameplay, other then that it feels nice to play. Like all shooters you have to destroy as many enemies as you can and try not to get it. The game is very difficult (well at least for me it was) and the graphics look neat.

Recommended for Shoot 'Em Up fans.
