What I need everyone to understand is that, as a solo developer, my capacity is indeed limited. Every day, I strive to improve and update the game to the best of my ability. All the development, bug fixes, and updates are handled by me alone, so I ask for your patience and understanding.

From now on, I’ll release regular updates, and after each one, I’ll post an announcement. The announcement will be divided into three sections: 【Fixes】, 【Updates】, and 【New Additions】.

Fixes: Based on player feedback, I’ll fix bugs promptly to ensure continuous game optimization. Updates: This covers updates to character models, effects, etc. New Additions: Includes new content like stages, items, characters, etc.

I'll make sure to bring new surprises with each update!

Finally, a huge thank you to all the players supporting me! Game development is no easy feat, and making sure you enjoy the game is my primary motivation. If anyone still feels like this is a paid beta, maybe wait until the end of October to grab the full version and experience it then!

Aim Camp - quantumdynamicsgames
The development of Aim Camp continues. We are working on expanding the map and introducing a new 'missions' mode where players will need to follow waypoints and complete tasks, eliminating enemies and targets with maximum precision along the way.

With this mode, we will also introduce 'lean' and 'jump' movements to adapt the character's mobility to the new tasks required.

There is much more we have planned, and we will keep you updated as development progresses.

Hey everyone!

We at Favor Games would like to take the time to personally thank each and every single one of you for entrusting us with your entertainment experience! We are incredibly excited to present our demo to the public for you to enjoy and provide your valuable feedback!

The current demo will allow you to play through the end of Chapter three, at which point we hope that you have managed to begin forming an opinion of the game. As time goes on, and the game is released in the next few months, we hope that experiencing this piece of the journey will provide you with the desire to continue the story and enjoy your time throughout.

General
  • Added leaderboards; DEATHTRIP is now competitive!
  • Tested gamepad support. Works with Steam Input mapper, which you can find by pressing Shift + Tab to bring up Steam Overlay. Tested on an Xbox controller. Gyro controls are heavily recommended for precise strafing
  • Added a stage select menu
  • Changed window mode to AutoNoVsync to support more systems
Gameplay
  • New darkness enemy that slows down time in proximity to it, functions as a safe-haven for the player
  • Lowered difficulty in beginning stages
  • New "Love" power-up that doubles your fire-rate
  • Mystery boxes are slightly more common
  • Rocket launcher is slightly more rare
  • Style points; After doing a bounce, if your speed increases in the next second, you gain 1,000 points
  • Finishing the game will net 1,000,000 points
  • Skullheads and some other enemies now emit sound for more auditory awareness
  • Bombers have been nerfed
  • Bounce now refreshes double-jump
Miscellaneous notes
Running windowed mode feels slow. Fullscreen feels 10x more responsive on my machine. Regarding controller support, it works! But- the game relies on Source style movement mechanics, as seen in CS2 for example, a game notorious for being almost impossible to play with a controller. Gyro controls should make it allot more doable.

Hey everyone! We know there has been a bit of radio silence from Merge Conflict regarding bug fixes, performance issues and general updates for Re:Fresh. Today we have some super exciting announcements to share, as well as some more insight into what's been going on here at the studio!

Re:Fresh is coming to Nintendo Switch!!

This has been a big dream for the team, and we are excited to confirm that yes, Re:Fresh will be coming to the Switch! The porting process has taken a lot longer than we initially anticipated, but there has been a lot of amazing work done on the game and a bit of new content that we are excited to share with everyone.

While we can't confirm a release date just yet, keep your eyes peeled for some exciting news in the near future ;)


Re:Fresh will be available in 6 new languages!

Alongside the Switch launch, Re:Fresh is going to be available in the following languages:

  • Brazilian Portuguese
  • Japanese
  • Chinese
  • French
  • German

Finally we wanted to once again give a big thanks to people who have supported us thus far and purchased Re:Fresh on Steam. We wouldn't be where we are today without all of your support! That being said....

Re:Fresh Steam Update

Our initial plan to fix up some larger bugs in a steam patch quickly turned into a LOT of overall polish, performance improvements, localization support and some new content for the Switch port of the game. We decided it would be best to focus all of our effort on making this the best version of Re:Fresh we possibly could, and will be releasing it as a free, major update for Steam players! While we don't have a release date for the patch yet, we're working hard to make sure the it's finished up as soon as possible and will have more information in the coming months so stay tuned!
