A big update to Celtreos!

New Stage “Dark Nebula”!
Now the fifth stage immediately after “Hyperspace Pursuit”, the new “Dark Nebula” stage is shrouded in the clouds of a nebula in space.  Bullets and enemies will be harder to see, in this fast-paced game of hide-and-seek that ends with a creepy new boss!

Other Soundtrack Improvements
In addition to the brand new song “Mystery” to pair with the “Dark Nebula” stage, there have been improvements to the “Disposition” and “Evasion” songs.

Gameplay Tweaks
A few stages have been updated in minor ways to try to streamline gameplay, such as “Hyperspace Pursuit” and “Alien Ocean”.  Some enemies have minor updates to their artwork and animation.  Weapons such as Beam, Column and Phaser have slightly better physics in the horizontal plane.

Updated User Interface (Buttons)
All of the game UI has been refreshed, with a new dark blue gradient style that also tends to be more legible against certain backgrounds.

  • Changed the context menu of link objects so that the user can see the details of the room to which the link object points.
  • The rotation type is set to "snap" by default for Link objects.
  • Adjustments have been made to make zoom operation more comfortable for the photo capture camera and stream camera.
  • Added the following features to the nameplate
    • Display mute status.
    • The friend's nameplate will have a green border.
  • Adjusted character movement process.
    • Fixed the issue where characters could run over a collider whose IsTrigger is enabled.
    • Fixed the issue where you couldn't properly jump when the jump force setting was low.
    • Fixed the movement of the character's feet when on a moving floor.
Bug Fixes
  • Fixed an issue in which transforms of some items were not saved correctly when exiting a room with many items.

  • Fixed an issue where VCI's GetUserType() API returned incorrect values when a user not linked to a VirtualCast account joined a My Room.
  • Effekseer version updated to 1.70d.
  • Fixed an issue where when you re-entered the same room, VCI consoles in the room showed the logs from the previous entrance to the room.

Easy Pose - madcat games
Thanks to all of you, we are doing well.

Critical issues in the mobile version of Easy Pose have been fixed, and bug issues in the Steam version of Easy Pose are being improved. We'll try to fix bugs and update new content before summer ends. Our long-term goal is to end Early Access before the end of the year.

Today is the big day! Early Access release! We'll see how it goes.

Here are the fixes so far. I might push some more patches throughout the day.
  • Fixed collision in the temperate forested hills map
  • On map change, all actions get canceled
  • AI-controlled characters stop repositioning for ranged attacks if they're immobilized
  • Spider queen now uses the intended large spider sprite
  • After defeating the boss of a dungeon, when you leave the boss room, you leave the dungeon
  • Double drop rate for items that you can break down for clues to complete legends
  • Food and drink item descriptions now tell you what the status effect does, and not just which status effect it applies

If you see anything else that needs to be fixed, please let me know and I'll work on it as soon as possible.

It's June! Time for our regularly-scheduled status update.

As of now, development is going as planned.
This time, I've mainly been working on building up the foundations for things I'll have to work on in the future. Like these:
  • Commissioning art
  • Preparing data I'll need to make events with later (equipment, items, enemies, etc.)
  • Improving optimization
  • Improving debug functions

And here is where I'd usually show off some new art...
But it'll be a few months before the new art I commissioned gets made.
So I'll be making text-only updates until then.

Oh, but we've finished a new portrait for Goshe!
It's a spoiler, so I can't show it here, but I bet it's the kind of design everyone loves to see. I know I love to see it.
Please keep looking forward to it!

The next thing on my to-do list is to implement events on all of the maps.

It's one of the selling points of this game, isn't it?
It's also where I can write a looot of words and dialogue options, and then get stuck forever on a single line. Y'know, the usual.
It's also also where I get to think about how to put Goshe in the stupidest situations possible. It's the most enjoyable part of the process.
I'll be spending the next month working on this.

Mori Carta - Nevergreen Games
Greeting and salutations everyone!

We’re back with a patch! Hooray for content! Today we’re going to be adding in a large batch of flavor text for the cards! The team has had many a conversation about “What happened to the Fool after the prologue?” or “What exactly does the Atoned have ‘Faith’ in?” And we want to encourage our players to share in the story of Mori Carta.

Our goal with this patch is to lay the groundwork for some lore and get it in front you. As we are in Early Access we are always growing the game in new and exciting ways to put the best game on your computer. But we can’t water all these growing opportunities alone, for them to bear fruit we ask the community “how are we doing?”

You will notice that we attempted to continue with our idea that all text is written in a variety of poetic styles. Which ones make you laugh? Which ones make you sad? Which ones make you wonder? We don’t expect each of the poems to be a home run but we hope that they will add that extra bit of flavor for those who like that taste.

The flavor texts will help set the tone for the story of Mori Carta going forward, so expect to see more down the road. We want to give more definition to the companion quests, so that a player will understand why they’re hanging out with Poppet. We want to explore more about the 4 (soon to be 5) classes, as well as the Fool. So this is not the end!
