Why Early Access?

“We decided to launch Cutout Village in Early Access because we believe the best way to finish the game is by listening to the people who play it. The core experience is already complete and enjoyable, but there's still room to polish mechanics, improve balance, and add features that make the game even better. Community feedback will help us decide what to focus on during the final stages of development.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“Our current plan is to keep Cutout Village in Early Access for around 3 to 6 months. That may change depending on community feedback and the improvements we decide to make. Our goal is to use this time to polish the game as much as possible before releasing version 1.0 on Steam, followed by a console release.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“Throughout Early Access, we plan to expand and improve Cutout Village with additional content, gameplay improvements, and features inspired by community feedback. We'll continue fixing bugs, refining game balance, and polishing different aspects of the experience. Our goal is for the full version to feel more complete, more polished, and even more enjoyable while staying true to the core experience.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The current Early Access version already includes the full core gameplay experience and can be played from start to finish in both Story Mode and Free Mode. The main gameplay systems and progression are already in place, although we're still working on adding more content, improving balance, and fixing bugs. We consider the game to be in a solid, stable state and will continue updating it throughout Early Access.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“Yes. We plan to increase the price once the game leaves Early Access, as it will include more content and improvements by then. We'd like to thank everyone who supports us early by giving them the chance to get the game at a lower price while helping us shape its development.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“The community will play an important role during the final months of development. We'll be paying close attention to suggestions, bug reports, and feedback shared through the Steam Community Hub and our social media channels. We want to hear what players think, learn what works best, and continue improving Cutout Village with every update.”
