Well I love the game, the light mechanics are awesome and the graphic too.
It's very funny and skill-based even if you have to buy the game to unlock all the classes.
The community is little but healthy and made exception for some little insolent teenagers the rest of the players are polite and friendly.

The negative point -and it's a big one- is that there are no remarkable updates since the game has born. I mean the map editor is fantastic but the single player and the clans are still "coming soon".

Maybe you have to wait for some discount..

I love this game, it's fun. It gets really really boring though, there are barely any updates and not much to do. Don't get me wrong its a fun game, but it just gets boring really quick. I wouldn't buy it right now.

Changing my Review.
I use the standalone app so I have hundreds of hours of playtime with this game. You can download the free version on their site, mac version available. Buying the game gives you extra classes/features. I'm using macbook pro.

Singleplayer isn't available yet. Game is early access so there are lag issues, small playerbase and few maps, but there's usually a good game to join. The classes are well balanced. The stealth is there. The action is there. It's not pay to win so you'll have fun with the free version as well. I love this game and can't wait for the devs to finish. The updates come in slow so be aware. It's a small team so give them time. This used to a be a huge issue for me. But seeing them reach out to the community and updating us on what they're doing really helped with the waiting process, and restored my faith in them. They've made some improvements since my last review that addressed some issues. Updating the map editor will definitely make me a happy camper. Looking forward to the updates and I definitely recommend this game.

“Un multijugador imprescindible y creativo, una creación única en Steam 8.7/10“

Existe gran cantidad de títulos con un excelente multijugador, podría fácilmente estar dando ejemplos por un buen rato, pero, ¿Que pasa con juegos que solo tienen Multijugador? Uno de ellos es Of Guards And Thieves, un curioso juego cuyo modo principal nos divide en 2 equipos; Guardias y Ladrones, el primero tendrá que proteger 6 objetos diferentes dentro de un museo, mientras el segundo intentará robar un objeto. Un factor que hace interesante la partida; es el hecho que los Guardias no saben cual de los 6 objetos intentarán robar los Ladrones, lo que hará que tengan que vigilar los 6 individualmente.

Al ser un juego completamente multijugador (El modo de un jugador será añadido al finalizar la fase de acceso anticipado.), es obvio que tenga diferentes modos de juego, incluyendo su modo principal “Guards And Thieves” el juego cuenta con 11 diferentes modos de juego.

Actualmente hay otros modos de juego en desarrollo, aunque personalmente no creo que el juego necesite mas de los que ya tiene. A excepción de los modos, Life, Thief Town, Zombie Apocalypse y Hunger Games, que a decir verdad suenan demasiado interesantes.

Como aspecto destacable del título tendría que remarcar su jugabilidad, es realmente simple de jugar y difícil de dominar. Es totalmente divertido jugar con amigos y es perfecto para una tarde completa jugado los diferentes modos de juego con que cuenta, como acceso anticipado ha hecho su trabajo a la perfección, entregando un título que vale totalmente su precio aún en su actual estado de desarrollo.

Pros:
  • Estilo gráfico cartonizado que da un toque divertido al juego.
  • Controles simples bien utilizados.
  • Inmensa variedad de modos de juego.
  • Facilidad de crear tu propio servidor privado y ponerle contraseña.
  • Excelentes efectos de iluminación y sombras bien aprovechadas.

Cons:
  • Aún no cuenta con integración a SteamWorks (Sin logros ni guardado en la nube).
  • El sistema de apuntado es un poco lento.

Conclusión:
Me es realmente difícil encontrar puntos negativos en juegos como este, es terriblemente adictivo y demasiado divertido. Perfecto para jugar solo o con amigos y tiene gran variedad de modos para los mas exigentes. Si hay un juego que merece mayor atención en acceso anticipado obviamente es Of Guards And Thieves. Y si aún no estás convencido de dar una oportunidad a la obra de Subvert, puedes jugarlo de manera completamente gratuita descargándolo desde su pagina oficial .

Un juego barato y que en su estado actual da horas y horas de entretenimiento.

SI TIENE GENTE JUGANDO poca PERO SE PUEDEN LLENAR LOS SERVERS CON LA CANTIDAD DE GENTE QUE LO JUEGA

Un tremendo juego!
Competitivo, Balanceado, y divertidisimo!

"Ladrones contra Guardias"
-traducido al ingles-

Un juego por equipos donde la visibilidad y el trabajo en equipo lo es todo!

(basado en el modo principal del juego, ya que tiene muchos otros modos de juegos que van desde CTF, hasta DM)

La cosa va de que un escuadron de "Ladrones" armados tiene que robar un preciado objeto (que puede ser desde algo adsurdo, hasta un cameo de otro juego! como por ejemplo Robar el CD con el codigo fuente del HL3 o algo asi por el estilo "HL3 CONFIRMED!").

Mientras que el otro equipo, los "Guardias" deben protejer este objeto.

ahora bien el juego cuenta con ciertos detalles que hacen interesante cada partida, y no lo hacen parecer un juego mas, como por ejemplo:

-La Oscuridad.
Los guardias de seguridad no tiene vision nocturna, por lo que tendran que valerse por su resistencia, sus linternas, las luces del propio ecenario (podiendo interactuar con este, encendiendo o apagando las luces), sus equipamientos especiales, y sus armas, que aunque son mejores que las de los ladrones, no les serviran de mucho si no le puedes asertar a lo que no ves, en cambio, los ladrones si pueden ver en la oscuridad, tiene armas con silenciador, para evitar ser detectados, y usaran el propio entorno para cobrar ventaja en la partida.

-El Entorno.
Un exelente mapeo, y unos pequeñas sorpresas serviran para voltearle la partida a cualquier equipo como por ejemplo: los ladrones usaran ventaja de los ductos de ventilacion y las ventanas para poder moverse rapidamente a traves de todo el mapa, y ahorrarse algunos bloqueos hechos por los guardias, mientras que los guardias no, y tendran que valerse por el trabajo en equipo y la buena distrubucion para protejer el preciado objeto

-El Objetivo / el Objeto
Como bien explique antes el equipo de los ladrones deberan robar un objeto, en cada mapa ay alrededor de 3 objetos diferentes pero el equipo de los ladrones solo buscan 1 en espesifico, obviamente ellos saben cual es, mientras que los guardas no! y esto obligara a el equipo de los guardias a proteger todos los objetos hasta que se acabe el tiempo.

-Las clases, y las habilidades.
En este juego, no todo es disparar, tambien ay que planear, y cada personaje cuenta con una serie de habilidades especiales propias de estos personajes, algunos lanzan bombas de humo, otros granadas fragmentarias, y hasta algunos granadas incendiarias, para hacer retroceder a sus enemigos o bloquearles el paso, obiamente otros curan, algunos usan algunas "Distracciones" como piedras para alejar a sus enemigos, y otros como los exploradores, del equipo de los guardias lanzan bengalas para poder dar visibilidad a su equipo y evitar emboscadas, cada personajes cuenta con mas, o menos poder de fuego, desde un cuchillo mortal! (explorador ladron), hasta un arma que cura, o una AK-47 para hacer mas daño, y ademas algunos de estos dispondran de menor resistencia, por lo que, un buen trabajo en equipo, y una gran comunicasion sera la clave en este juego!

Y tenemos los modos de juego de Deadmact (muerte subita o todos contra todo) que es solo con guardias, DeadMact por equipos, Captura la Bandera, proteje el Vip que tenemos que llevar a un mierbro importante de nuestro equipo a la salida, el modo de plantar la bomba, al estilo del Cs 1.6, un modo zombi, un modo slender? entre otros

tambien puedo mensonar que existen otros modos de juego, realizados y en progreso, como en modo supervivencia con zombis, modo carreras en auto? y futboll... con cuchillos... que en lo personal el uso del cuchillo me recuerda al clasico CS 1.6 pero en lo personal no me gusta.

en total tenemos ante nosotros una de esas pequeñas joyas indie, que sin dudas a pisado con un buen pie, y los desarrolladores no lo han dejado asi ya que estan llenos de ideas! desde el modo singleplayer (un jugador), clanes, Ranking, nivel (Level), y la personalizacion de nuestros propios personajes.

el juego esta bastante beta, tiene algunos errores como efectos de luz a veces raros, y bugs en los personajes, algunos dicen que tiene fallos en el rendimiento (y mi computadora es ♥♥♥♥♥♥, y me sierve en graficas bajas, pero se ve super bien aun asi pruebenlo), y tiene muy pocos mapas, pero siempre tiene una beta del juego para descargar y probarlo si no los convence y creanme a mi me convencio! y no arrepiento de nada!

This is a great game. Don't let the only 2 hours or so of playtime affect this, I've been playing this for quite a while now. I've seen it change a bit and for the better.

Pros:

Pretty dang fun gameplay
Easy to host a server if there's a need for one.
The graphics and lighting are cartoony and smooth. Really good on the eyes.
I haven't run into any serious or game breaking glitches while playing it.
Several Gamemodes (Guards and Thieves, Zombie Rush, Soccer, Madball, Team Death Match, etc.) so there is variety other than just stealth modes.

Cons:

Sometimes a server you connect to may make your (or others) ping a little high, but the Devs are working on having actual servers.
Currently only multiplayer, but that too will change in the future.

Other than that, there's no serious issues with the game. The Devs are constantly adding stuff and have tons of plans ahead for future gamemodes. If you're a fan of Stealth games, this is certainly the game to get.

This game is a blast, the best way I could describe it is Monaco mixed with Counter Strike and it's just as amazing as that sounds. If there was ever an early access game that deserved it's asking price, it's this one.

One thing that should be appreciated is this isn't an early access game where you'll find lots of bugs or glitches. In the many hours that I've played on all the gamemodes I have not encountered a single one, which has been pretty impressive. You will not clip into geometry, fall through the world or any other weird occurances. Everything works just as intended. The occassional lag will happen but that will occur due to the host. (Roll your mouse over the admin of the room to see their location.)

It's graphics and graphical options are very limited and it could probably run on a toaster but thats actually a great thing because that means more players will be able to play flawlessly. Personally I feel that artistic style>graphical fidelity anyday and OGAT has oodles of style. Not to mention it scales perfectly. I assume the engine is Unity, it's very well optimized.

The gameplay is fluid, responsive (if the server is decent), and well balanced. Some are quick to shout OP, but that wouldn't happen if everyone took the time to understand how to effectively use light. Light is a big part of most of the gamemodes in OGAT, it will be your friend and it will be your enemy.

The devs should truely be rewarded for their support of OGAT and the dedication to the community adding SO much to the game it's ridiculous!
Just take a look here http://ogat.gamepedia.com/GameMode and scroll down to see all the gamemodes they are planning to add to the game! It's like they want to recreate all of the best gmod mods, and I'm all for it!

One thing that a few of my friends have made notice was that the game has no music in it what-so-ever. It really didn't occur to me at all that it would be an issue, but for some people apparently it might be. So if soley the sound of guns and grenades don't satisfy you, that might be a bit of a problem.
