10 new extra Badge are now available by leveling up to level 50.


New auto-balance algorithm
Another change that will be available in the next release is a better auto-balance algorithm.

The problem with the current one is that is *only* taking in consideration the average score during the matches and it's not considering the player experience.

The new algorithm it's still a simple one but we think it will be an improvement.

It works like this: every player will have a "rating" computed that it the result of 3 variables:

A = ( avg_score / 2000 ) * 0.5
B = total_wins / total_match_played
C = level / level_cap
RATING = A + B + C

It will be possible to see every player rating just hovering with the mouse on their name inside the lobby:



After a rating is computed for every player we will try to create the best teams, trying different player combinations until the 2 teams have a similar total rating (computed simply summing all the rating of the players in a team).

Classes/Loadouts Rebalance
Classes rebalance aims to rebalance the game mechanics by giving more importance to the less used classes.
In this particular case we're going to buff Scout and Carrier for Guards and Cobra, Saboteur and Medic for Thieves faction.
Both classes statistics and loadouts stats have been changed in order to achieve this goal, details in the list below.

  • Scout: HP changed 68 -> 72
  • Scout: Zlock 18 replaced by WK usp
  • Scout: Fluorescent Glue duration increased 12.5 -> 15.5
  • Scout: Fluorescent Glue slowdown power increased 0.5 -> 0.6
  • Scout: Fluorescent Glue Radius increased 0.6 -> 0.7
  • Scout: Light Baton Damage increased 34 -> 36
  • Scout: NP5 damage changed to 20 (was 18)
  • Flare: Light Range increased 3.5 -> 4
  • Carrier: HP changed 74 -> 76
  • Saboteur: HP changed 70 -> 72
  • Molotov: Duration changed 8.5 -> 11
  • Incendiary Grenade: Duration changed 12.5 -> 15
  • Cobra HP changed 48 -> 54

Loading Map Screen now provides more helpful details by showing the goals of the game that's going to play.

New Destructible Cover for Yellow/Green Passages (40 HP)
By now almost all the passages (Yellow/Green) are closed with destructible metal covers.
To pass through you must first destroy them, keep in mind that their presence can 'be both an advantage or a disadvantage.


Maps Remake, Rebalance and Changes
The most used maps are only "Office" and "Mansion", there are reasons behind that and we want to address this problem.
Maps Like "Cemetery" and "Military camp" in particular have some balancing problems, like too much darkness on the main points of interest giving a huge advantage to the thieves and not well-balanced objectives placement.
We've improved the situation by changing maps Layouts, Lighting, objectives placement, Spawn zones and more.
