“Divinity II is a wonderful, welcome surprise. It's been a long time since I've played an RPG that manages to balance a lengthy, in-depth story with such a self-aware and hilarious script”

“The writing is consistently terrific, from the genuinely creative quests with multiple solutions to the NPCs which are all hand-crafted and infused with personality. Where other games would have copy + pasted Unclickable Villager A and B a few dozen times, Divinity 2 gives you an actual village, complete with gossipers, philanderers, military deserters, the occasional secret murderer, and even a few normal people”
9/10 – SomethingAwful

“It's amazing such a good game remained undiscovered until this "remastered" version was released. (...) The quests are surprisingly good, with charming voicework and a great sense of humour - and then there's the exploration, with hidden caverns and keys rewarding diligent players”

Wow this game has the highest resolution textures i have ever seen used in a video game. At first it might not be noticable. But when you start making your way through the game and go inside some houses and dungeons. Its just like wow. Best surface texturing i have ever seen in my gaming life.

Wow where has this game been hiding? I got it in a humble bundle of like 8 games all for a dollar. So i basically got this game for mere pennies and its given me $100 worth of entertainment. The graphics are sharp and the textures are extremely high resolution, the animations are incredible, and the voice acting is the best i have ever seen in any video game period.

There is also really funny dialogue from some of the people you speak with along your journey.
One female warrior commander said something along the lines of "you can enter through the lower back door" and one of the response choices was something like "I thought you had more self respect than that commander"

I don't always spent a lot of time playing a single game. Divinity II broke that rule. Although the story itself it's not the best, (It's a normal story for this kind of games) it got a couple of interesting plot twists that make it even more interesting.
Let's admit it, it's a game rather "old" by now. (Let's keep in mind that Ego Draconis went out in, I think, 2009). But, even if the graphics were upgraded with Dragon Knight Saga, (Yes, if you had "Dragon Knight Saga", the game upgraded itself to the "Developer's Cut"*) there are some textures that could be better and some minor bugs. I mean, I don't want to be disrespectful at all. I feel nothing but respect to Larian Studios. They proved that it doesn't take a worldwide company to make an awesome and unforgetable game.
One thing that I think the game lacked is better character customization. There're just a couple of options in hair and face. Nothing deep at all. And, other thing, (And, this is just personal) I'm, let's say, an achievement hunter. I find both entertaining and challenging to try to earn every single achievement every time I play a game. So, the lack of Steam achievements is one of my cons. (Still, it has in-game achievements. But, I don't know. I like to have them in Steam)
But, I have to admit that the dialogues were hilarious. The game if filled with amazing NPC's and, each one, has a very funny personality. (Take, for instance, Bellegar. I love the way he talks)
Overall, I have to say that I recommend this game without any doubt. It's everything that a RPG should be and, sadly, a very underrated game. The amount of different skills is incredible and you can chose whatever you want. Battlemage? Sure! Rogue with a big giant hammer? Why not?
There are a lot of great armor sets and legendary weapons to find all over Rivellon and tons of funny quests. Even if you're flying as a fierce dragon, spitting fire all over the Oroba's Fjords or just chilling in the Battle Tower, you'll have a great time.

*The developer's tool it's pretty cool, if you want to play the game by your own rules. I would recommend to try it, at least, once. You'll see, it's very fun.

Action-RPG davvero soddisfacente con buona interazione, ottime potenzialità esporative e diversi puzzle davvero ben congeniati. Una sorpresa, peccato solo per il sistema di combattimento che lascia molto a desiderare.
