Recensioni

“Divinity II is a wonderful, welcome surprise. It's been a long time since I've played an RPG that manages to balance a lengthy, in-depth story with such a self-aware and hilarious script”
IncGamers

“The writing is consistently terrific, from the genuinely creative quests with multiple solutions to the NPCs which are all hand-crafted and infused with personality. Where other games would have copy + pasted Unclickable Villager A and B a few dozen times, Divinity 2 gives you an actual village, complete with gossipers, philanderers, military deserters, the occasional secret murderer, and even a few normal people”
9/10 – SomethingAwful

“It's amazing such a good game remained undiscovered until this "remastered" version was released. (...) The quests are surprisingly good, with charming voicework and a great sense of humour - and then there's the exploration, with hidden caverns and keys rewarding diligent players”

This is the first game I purchased in a long while *2016* from the steam store that I played long enough that I will be ineligible to request a refund. Not sure if I will ever finish it or how much I will play it but it's more than a decent game especially for the 2.99 price. It is comparable to the first dragon age. My biggest gripes are the voice acting isn't the best, a lot of the characters are bland as to be expected in an open world RPG and theres a very small number of head models/faces that get reused and they don't look so great, people don't look as good as the grass and trees in this game. The water is kind of bad also but next gen visuals don't make always for a good game and this game isn't new. If I can draw comparisons to Dragon Age in which the first one is among my top 5 favorite games I have ever played and it runs better than Dragon Age does for me on my PC we are looking at a very positive experience.

Mediocre, seems at bit rushed, if you watch the short film about the development of the game they briefly explain why but eitherway the game is fun, has nice mechanics and a nice original story. And with the director's cut you can literally control everything which is fun for just messing around if you're bored

I played and beat this game on Xbox 360 (both Ego Draconis and Dragon Knight Saga), it is one of my personal Favorite Fantasy RPG's. If you ever wished you could TURN INTO A dragon in an RPG, welp, here yah go! The story is BEYOND BRILLIANT! The acting is good (according to my memory), there are actions you make that will affect things, one of the biggest being later in the story when you aquire the battle tower and get to choose between 2 people for each posiiton and the one you don't, dies.
There is necromancy that gives you a summoned creature in this no matter you're class choice. There is the 3 basic types, Warrior, Rogue, Mage, and it branches into really cool abilitys, you can mind read people, the ghosts are weird but kinda silly and even creepy looking in this. The Developers cut gives you the ability to have full control over the game and your character, changing everything but the story, it can of course get buggy but still! I would highly recommend if you ge this to beat the game without any mods first, then go nuts on a second playthrough. I recommend this because it feels different from other RPG's and is very engaging and fun, one of those that follows mechanics of Bioare's Infamous RPG's (mostly with dioalogue choices and such), if I remember correctly your character DOES! talk as well....I could be wrong it's been a while.

To give an example of some my personal favored RPG's that if you're a fan of I would recommend this as well are,
Knights Of The Old Republic (1 & 2),
Mass Effect (1-3),
Kingdoms Of Amalur; Reckoning,
Two Worlds (1 & 2),
Elder Scrolls V Skyrim,
there are others but you get the picture. As a bit of added thing I recommend, I'm one of those people who enjoys listening to music, finding soemthing to add my own soundtrack to games that fits perfectly well with, and when I originally played this game music That always makes me think of the game I listened to at the time was music by, Sonata Arctica and a few songs by Free Spirit.

I highly recommend this game to RPG fans!
REMEMBER THAT! This is not played anything like "Divinity Original Sin", it is a completely different story and completely different style of gameplay, Original Sin is top down and Stratedgy, this is 3rd-person real time combat.

Another game with a lot of potential that falls flat on its face right out of the gate. I can only assume that based on the reviews it is possible to enjoy the game if you get past the horrible issues up front. The main problem is, you choose one of three "classes" by way of testing them out in an open area on some goblins. Ok cool, I decided ranger is good, I like plinking with a bow, the mage has jack for spells and instead just clubs things up close. Then after the into movie, a whole lot of chatting with folks, pick up a few side quests that seem awkwardly thrown in, and get sent into a crypt as the first main storyline quest. And get jumped by 3 skeletons of higher level than I am and are no match for a bow. Seems you can ONLY choose warrior to start the game, nothing else, and then use the other classes later. Sorry, but blowing an hour to find out I have to start all over says I have no time for what is likely to be a seriously flawed game. Toss in how awkward a lot of it feels, and then the voice acting... I mean half of it is really good, the other half is worse than a sci-fi original movie, it's painful to listen to.

I don't remember the last time I had as much fun transforming into a Dragon and mind controlling people within quest chains to do my bidding. Actually, I don't remember doing these things in any other game, except maybe doing the latter with Jedi mind tricks in Knights of the Old Republic.

Divinity 2 is entirely different from the other Divinity games. Larian studios aren't afraid to do new things from different perspectives and they did a great job an Divinity 2. Not necessarily a must have milestone of gaming, but a great game nonetheless.

First off, let me start by saying; GET THIS GAME.

I'll explain, I've played many open world (and closed) RPG games, and I can honestly say this rank among the top 3 for me. I played this game ALL THE TIME on the Xbox 360, and I'm SO GLAD that PC had a version of it aswell.
This game, is a game you can VERY EASILY sink hundreds of thousands of hours into, and I honestly mean that.

I'll get to the pros and cons, but seriously, just buy this game.
PROS:
The diaglogue is funny, crisp, and refreshing. There are SO MANY WAYS to approach any scenario in the game. A conversation which can end in bloodshed can just as well end in a new ally gained. VERY GOOD if you enjoyed some of the older Dragon Age games.
The storyline is amazing and feels so intricately designed.
The characters are unique and memorable and bound to earn your love.
The gameplay is dynamic and well polished.
Combat is intense and you have a vast array of weapons and spells to tailor to your liking.
There are SO MANY quests, and each and every one of them feel unique and crafted with love, not following standard RPG clone formula.
The music, the environment, the creatures, all of which are aesthetically pleasing on a grand scale. Every location is beautiful and unique, and you actually feel immersed.
The load times are very short, which is nice when you just want to get into the game and play.

CONS:
While I cannot necessarily fault the game for this, I still must bring it up. The content was heavily reduced and many features and areas were cut for the sake of portability to consoles.
No mod support. I feel like this is key for maximizing the life span of an RPG game (look at bethesda titles.)
Combat, while I did praise it in the Pros sections, it can be a tad bit clunky at times.

That's it. I really can't think of anything else to write here.
If you're like me, and love beautifully crafted games...buy this game.
If you're STILL hesitant, at least get it on a sale, they have them pretty frequently.

This game does NOT hold your hand. I thought playing oblivion was enough, but it obviously wasn't. There isn't a convenient marker that shows you exactly where to go. You have to memorize the direction given from NPCs and actually use clues given throughout the game.

Although that makes it alot harder, it does well to add immersion. I'm liking it so far.

The only gripe I have is the combat. It's a bit clunky and dated, and it shows. But everything else makes up for it enough to earn a thumbs up.

All the Divinity series are so good and always upgrading their games in types of new ways, Divinity 2: Developer's Cut comes with a command button " f11 " lets you pretty much mod your character give yourself gold, armor, weapons and more. But the gameplay is a little like "dungeon siege legends of aranna" <3!!! Recommended!

Old but golden.

If you like your RPGs with humour and aged mechanics, buy this game, it has plenty of both.

A storyline with some nice twists, DRAGON FIGHTS!!!111!½ and people actually reacting to your character in a way that makes sense.

As I said, aged, but since diamonds last almost forever, so will this game.
