Lugh Lamhfada Update

With the continued story, a new battle area ascending to the peak of Ben Chenner and a new Raid, Chapter 1 of Season 3 ends with a bang as Lugh Lamhfada takes the field.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2560CjzEQJM

Season 3 - Episode 4
The fighting over Ben Chenner continues. Soldiers continue their way up the mountain, escorting mages, scholars and priests, but even as fewer come back down, no casualties are ever reported... and the Royal Army is only spurred on by their 'flawless victories'. This bizarre curse must be stopped before there are no soldiers left to fight. The search for a solution leads only further up the mountain of Ben Chenner... but the fighting only grows as you get closer to the peak.

New Raid: Lugh Lamhfada
Lost to history and wielding the mythical sword Fragarach, Lugh Lamhfada seeks retribution against those who have forgotten his glory and disregarded his honor. Will you have the courage to face the lost hero and at long last put his spirit to rest?

Lugh Lamhfada is a powerful warrior, but he's no master swordsman. Between his own magic and the unfathomable power of Fragarach, he has no need for finesse in his attacks. He instead uses quick bursts of teleportation to surprise his opponents with overpowering blows. Lugh can also pin a foe to the ground, making them vulnerable to his attacks if not defended in time.

Fragarach isn't Lugh Lamhfada's only weapon, however. Periodically during the fight, Lugh will rise into the air and bombard the area with Tathlums, mystical orbs that will explode violently... but they can also be collected to negate their explosion and give you a much needed edge against the ancient warrior.

Those that manage to overcome Lugh Lamhfada's teleporting attacks and collection of magical attacks will find components and the recipes for a new set of items. This Cloth armor set is crafted through the Composite system, but the Lugh Lamhfada keystone items can only be found by defeating the ancient warrior himself or through the new Lugh Lamhfada Battle Box.

Karok Unleashed Update

In 2015, Lann, Fiona and Evie all experienced a rebirth in power that bestowed upon them new attacks, new abilities, and more powerful techniques making them equals among their counterparts. With the first update of 2016, another warrior has emerged from his training, ready to bring about another round of mayhem in Vindictus as the Karok Unleashed update has arrived!

Karok Unleashed

There's a lot to go into, as nearly every skill Karok has is getting a polish. Even Karok's body is not immune to the changes, as two new sliders have been added to the character customization menu: Head and Proportion.

Head does exactly what it sounds like, increasing or decreasing the size of Karok's skull to better fit with the variety of body sizes. Proportion, on the other hand, controls how Karok's muscles fit on his massive frame, the traditional heavy bulk, or taller with a more lean feel. These sliders can be selected when creating a new Karok or modified with an Appearance Alteration Coupon.

But don't let his looks be all that defines him, there's plenty of new abilities and changes that Karok can make use of with any weapon!

RNG.

In a simple definition, it's what completely controls our lives.

Sure, you may have had your buddy boost you levels 1-90 for free. That's really nice. Maybe you got in some of those double xp weekends too and you got your level easily. That's great, levels are great.

But it comes at a price.
All gear comes at a price. You may think I mean crafting, but no. Crafting is the easy part.

The real price of playing this game is your entire life. The amount of time it takes you to pray to RNG GOD for him to bless you with enough drops to afford your best 90 gear is the same amount of time it takes the average human born, to die.
You will die playing this game. This game will ♥♥♥♥ you until you are sucked dry of your emotions and you become an endless farming machine, you will become a slave to NEXON and their NX prices, praying to get money to buy enchanting runes so you don't break your gear while crafting. You will spend the same amount of time getting to max level, adding +1000 dmg to your weapon by enhancing it. Did I mention, if your RNG fails you have to start all over? You do.
I ♥♥♥♥ing hate this game but it keeps calling me back for more. I lay in bed and I can't sleep. My daily raids that I can run twice a day call out to me, begging me to run them, begging me to crawl endless dungeons in hope for shining gold, an enchant scroll, a piece of loot that I can finally feel good about the many years it will take to buy that endgame gear.
I've sacrificed my friends and drank various blood potions to be blessed with good luck, nothing has worked. I've begged ferghus to "Welcome me to the forge" dozens of times. All I can do with the rest of my life is pray to God I will make some ♥♥♥♥ing money.

The combat is pretty fun, though. Would reccomend, 10/10.

Now, before you end up complaining about my hours and the negative review, let me just start this off with, I actually really loved and actually still do enjoy playing this game.

But, there is this little thing I like to call caring about your consumers. The Player appreciation
event would've been better off being called the "player depreciation event". The contents they gave out during that event were not very good and not really even worth it really, plus this event happened right after an event that went completely downhill in the last few days. Several of my friends stopped playing after that even because of how big of a ♥♥♥♥ off it was.

Now let me tell you of this event. It was a bingo event, aka for this game, kill specific monsters on certain days, collect a number, and bingo at the end. I'm ok with level cap for events but don't you dare put it on the last 3 days to make all the lower level people who really wanted the event rewards to be completely crushed. Because, I don't know if you know or not, but not EVERYONE pays in a free to play game, hence the "F2P".

Now that is not even the worst part. On the forums, you can clearly see multiple people complaining about the level cap randomly popping out of nowhere, and you can also see people who got the numbers that was currently impossible to obtain by their level be complaining to support in time. But you know what? They nitpicked and only gave it to the people who cried about it. Because you know what? After a ton of people complain about the level cap and not getting the numbers, lets not give everyone below x number the numbers. Because you know someone who isn't doing the event isn't gonna benefit from the numbers while people who were crushed can actually get what they deserve.

Now if you like hack and slashes then by all means play the game. I like it, and would like to play more. But the fact that they literally don't care about their consumers really. Their servers are pretty trash as well. So I would love to play more, but I just can no bring myself to play anything unless they figure a good way out to repay for the trashy excuses they have pulled out of their ***** and their garbage player "appreciation" event/events in general. They only care towards their paying players, everyone else can pretty much just ♥♥♥♥ off in their eyes.

was fun until had a taste of the business model of nexon, you see at end game, you need to enchant and enhance your gears for a effective amount of defense and offense, the top tier level of enchantment has a success rate capped at 40%, since i was bored, i spent 80+ dollar irl money to try to put a top tier enchantment on my weapon, after failed like 6-7 time in a roll (theoretically, chance of that happening is around 5% ), i decide to quit, i know nexon need to make money from this game but 40% cap just isnt fare for the players, not to mention it's p2w in a way, and who knows what the actual ratio they have for those sort of things, i understand that if i grind long enough i can buy those enchanted gears with in game money, but i'm not that type of gamer
don’t get me wrong, the game itself was a heck load of fun, reminds me of dark souls(my fav ps3 game!) but the business model is just horrible in my opinion, not gonna bother with another game with such aspect, i strongly appreciate and enjoy business model from Path of exile and dota, truly pay to look cool, for those game, i spent money to support and enjoying them, but in vindictus, i wanted to support this game, but most of my cash ended up on enchant and enhance runes, and no matter success or not with enchanting and enhancing, i hate myself for doing that, and i don’t want to have such a feeling when i play games, so i decide to say farewell and write my first review, if you hate p2w, just play this game as a free game and never spend money other than cosmetics
also it crashes alot, i mean for a 5 year old game this one crashes way too often, not just me(i also have alright gaming desktop, alienware x51, nothing fancy, but more than enough to run this game), a well knowing issue, could be the crappy server. fps drops for host in certain areas, which can make the whole party lag, a friend lost bunch of mats for crafting gears due to server lag, though i never had that issue, overall, i give it a "no", unless u truly love its art/fighting style, otherwise go try something else, make yourself happy when you play games
