O hře

When you, as a young boy, are dropped off to visit your uncle, you notice something’s wrong. First, he’s not there to greet you. Second, there’s the explosion that happened right as you arrived. And third, the house seems to be even weirder than you remembered it. Now, your job is to find—and ultimately rescue—your uncle, by using his newest invention, the Interdimensional Shift Device (or IDS), to switch between dimensions and solve puzzles. That sofa too heavy to move? There’s a dimension for that! Switch to Fluffy Dimension and that sofa is now light as a feather. Need to get up to a high ledge? There’s a dimension for that! Just switch to Anti-Gravity Dimension and things begin to float upward. Need to make things heavier? There’s a dimension for th—well, you get the idea. Switch dimensions in real time, work your way through the crazy complex mansion wings and rescue your uncle!

Do hry jde vložit snadno i vydařená free čeština z internetu.

I really enjoyed Quantum Conundrum although it wasn't very long. You switch between dimensions to solve puzzles that lead to the rescue of your uncle, who you visited. He still can talk to you though, he tells you some hilarious jokes and might give you a hint or two. His interdimensional pet Ike watches over you and hands you some of the stuff you need. I recommend you to skip any guidence in the first gameplay because the base game isn't really that hard, that'll be the point of its DLCs which I will review later. Patience is golden, many times you'll stop looking back at how easy it actually was after finally proceeding. I loved it and it deserves more attention in my opinion. If it's too heavy, fluff it up! 9/10

I want to snatch Ike

Probably the closest thing we'll get to Portal 3...

Until hell freezes over and the almighty GabeN decides to release the holy trinity, I guess we'll just have to settle for this game for now. It's not a bad game though, especially for its low price.

Much like Portal, this game features some good puzzles using unique mechanics and is backed up with a great soundtrack. Unfortunately, it lacks the story and environment that the Portal series is known for. The puzzles in this game are also too reliant on timing and platforming which can get quite frustrating at times.

Overall though, it's still a good game. If you've got an itch for more Portal action, then pick up this game when its on sale (It's often on sale for 2 or 3 dollars) and give it a try!

When I heard about Quantum Conundrum I jumped all over it. After all, I loved Portal and Portal 2, so why not?

Well, the game showed me why not. While I enjoyed the actual puzzle segments, the game veers into reflex trials. I hate reflex trials. I play puzzle type games for puzzles, not rote memorization and twitch gameplay. I know there are gamers who enjoy that sort of thing, but I cannot count myself among their number.

I'd love to be able to recommend this, but the reflex trials are just too much for me to see past.

A first-person puzzle game in the same vein as Portal, but voiced by John de Lancie! (That's the actor who played Q on ST:TNG, if you're a fan of the show.) The game suits him well, charming with a unique brand of wit and humour sprinkled throughout each puzzle. It's a delight to play and, while many of the solutions are somewhat rigid, more than a few allow the player enough freedom to come up with their own answers to each obstacle.

Unfortunately, since Mr. de Lancie's commentary, as the professor, greatly establishes the mood and tempo of the game, I cannot recommend the DLC. Ike-Aramba! and The Desmond Debacle fall flat due to their monotony and most of the puzzles in them are less puzzles and more sequences of specific timing where the slightest error--in a belligerently linear solution--will have you pulling out your hair as you try and try again. At least the checkpoints are frequent enough that you never have to start a puzzle from the very beginning.

The short version: Buy the game--it's really fun, and spring for the DLC if it's on sale. It's six extra multi-stage 'puzzles' each, but the real fun is in the core game.
