Sobre este jogo

When you, as a young boy, are dropped off to visit your uncle, you notice something’s wrong. First, he’s not there to greet you. Second, there’s the explosion that happened right as you arrived. And third, the house seems to be even weirder than you remembered it. Now, your job is to find—and ultimately rescue—your uncle, by using his newest invention, the Interdimensional Shift Device (or IDS), to switch between dimensions and solve puzzles. That sofa too heavy to move? There’s a dimension for that! Switch to Fluffy Dimension and that sofa is now light as a feather. Need to get up to a high ledge? There’s a dimension for that! Just switch to Anti-Gravity Dimension and things begin to float upward. Need to make things heavier? There’s a dimension for th—well, you get the idea. Switch dimensions in real time, work your way through the crazy complex mansion wings and rescue your uncle!

this game is my answer whenever someone ask me what my favorite game of all time is. stirring story, cosy stages, overwhelmingly entertaining puzzles, genuine humor and everything I look for havin' fun in a game. I wish there was a sequal for it. I had my best times while playin'. 4 different dimension supply a huge variety on complexity and not only that it has awesome gameplay trough with it. I always thought that could cause lots of improvement in game industry but it's been 3 years and yet all we got is "The Talos Principle". I really think developers should look up for this game and draw a lesson. that's the stuff we need more and more. I dont know what kim swift doin' these days but we need her back really bad zxzxzx.

What could have been a wonderful puzzle game is ruined by so many levels designed around sensitive platforming mechanics. I really gave this game a chance as it has a lovely concept for puzzles. But after my frustration level became just too much I uninstalled the game unfinished. I found myself in so many levels where I had solved the puzzle and knew exactly what to do but just couldn't pull of the complicated jumps or positioning that was required. Often I was doing a puzzle over 10 times and failing every time because I didn't quite make the jump or I wasn't quite standing in the right place. I knew what to do. I had solved the puzzle part. But I couldn't pull of the platforming aspect. If you like platformers and puzzles but really go for the platforming aspect than this really is a good game. If you like puzzle games like Portal but aren't the most agile of gamer in platformers, then I highly recommend skipping this title.

I really wish there was a maybe. The puzzles are fun, but later on in the game this becomes more like a platformer and I have trouble jumping and hitting buttons in time to do the stunts which is frustrating. This isn't the Portal rival I thought it would be, although the first levels definitely fooled me into thinking it would be!

"Kinda like Portal but not as good."
That was the description I was told when I asked about this game.

And, I have to agree. The game has a professor character that tries to spice up the puzzles with commentary, but they're just not that interesting a character.
Estranged-Uncle-Genius-That-Loves-Grandchild-But-Treats-Them-Like-Dirt has surprisingly been done before several times, and this one doen't really stand out from the crowd.

The puzzles are fine - they fluctuate between boring and interesting, but, honestly, it just feels like there are too many of them (or at least too many that feel the same).

Further in, the game has an odd paradigm shift where it focuses more on accurate platforming than solving a particular problem. The main gripe I have here is that the jump doesn't allow for much mid-air adjustment. So, once you jump, you better hope you did it right or you're going to fall.
Also, there's a weird physics quirk where, if you're moving through the air and collide with anything you just stop dead and fall straight down - which feels off if I'm in a dimension where everything weighs next to nothing and should just bounce off me.

I don't think the Portal comparison is unfair, either. The reason why Portal just feels better as a physics puzzler even though this game has similar puzzles is that in Portal, if you need to make an adjustment, its instant. Just aim and make a new portal.
In this game, the dimensions mechanic is all about the spawned in items the game gives you to solve the puzzles. Meaning, if you mess up, you have to go back to the spawn tube to fetch the items and start over. Respawning the items resets all of them, so even if some are already in a spot you want them, if you drop one down a hole or get a bad bounce into a laser, you have to start all over.
Which just makes a tedious game feel like it drags on more than it already does.

Okay game. Get it if you really like physics puzzlers, otherwise skip it.

If you are a sucker for 3d puzzle platformers this should be something you enjoy. Just be warned most of the puzzles are fairly easy and you need to buy the DLCs if you want something more challenging.

Rating: Best game ever
