Why Early Access?

“We're a small self funded team making a cozy job sim where Cthulhu is your boss and painting broken realities back into existence is the day job. The core loop is finished and it works: take a job, step through the elevator door, paint the reality back, discover what's waiting inside it, then head home and file the report. Early Access gives us the time to build everything around that loop, and player feedback tells us what's worth building first, whether that's new realities, new tools, or what Cthulhu should buy for the office.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“6-12 months. We want to double the content and polish everything based on player feedback.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“We plan to add:

* New jobs and new realities to restore, from the grand to the deeply questionable
* Colleagues who you can train to take on some of the office maintenance.
* The full story arc. Some of these incidents seem to be connected, and Cthulhu might know more than he's saying.
* More tools, upgrades, and creepy items for the office.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“It's fully playable. You can take on three jobs, each a different broken reality with its own story hiding within. Between jobs you're back at the Reality Repair Co. office, where you've got your own desk, daily rituals to complete, and Tentacle95, the in-game operating system which was cutting edge once, apparently. Cthulhu talks you through it all as you go. There are no fail states or timers, so it goes at whatever pace suits you.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“We plan to gradually raise the price as we ship new content and features.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“Mostly through our Discord and the Steam forums:

* Polls when there's a real decision to make, like which reality we repair next
* Commentary suggestions: tell us what Cthulhu would say about a laundromat. The best lines go in the game, with credit.
* Playtests of new jobs before they ship
* Bug reports. You will be fixing broken realities for a living, so do tell us about ours!”
