About This Demo

Grow a village that reaches for the sky

ROOF UP! is a cozy puzzle builder on floating hex islands. Every building is as tall as it is happy. Set it next to what it loves and it gains a floor. Set it next to what it dislikes and it loses one. Your score is the skyline.

Every piece wants something

  • Cottages love trees.
  • Windmills love fields. Trees block their wind.
  • Towers love cottages.
  • Lighthouses love water, out at sea or by a pond.
  • Markets love variety: one floor for each different neighbor.
Trees and fields don't grow. They are what everyone else wants. One tree can lift two cottages. One field can feed two windmills. Every placement is a small puzzle: find the hex where the most neighbors like what you're holding. Five floors and a building flies its flag.

Four seasons on every island

Hit a goal and the island moves on a season, from a spring morning to a winter evening with lit windows and sweeping lighthouse beams. Pick one of two new packs of pieces and keep building. No stars, no pressure. Every island you play to the end opens the next.
