Basic Game Rules

• The Hunting Ring: Every match, players are assigned random numbers. Number 1 hunts 2, 2 hunts 3... and the last number hunts 1.

• Target Inheritance: Say you're number 4. Kill 5, and your next target becomes 6 — and so on. The last survivor wins.

• Kill the Wrong One, Die Yourself: Strike a wrong target and YOU die instantly, while your intended victim walks away completely unharmed.

Real-Time Social Maneuvering

• Simple rules, endless emergent play.

• The pressure of being hunted, combined with the cost of a wrong kill, makes finding a temporary ally to block a blade essential. But as the hunting ring keeps shifting and information stays uneven, alliances are fragile by nature.

• One-hit kills, self-destructive misfires, and silent deaths make information everything. You must constantly work out how far the hunting ring has progressed, and who your enemies and potential allies are, so you can out-calm your opponent in the next encounter.

• Once you're experienced, you can trash-talk your way to being the last one standing.

Whispers Behind Closed Doors

Players inside the same sealed room can talk by voice and text. Careful — when a door opens, voices carry beyond it.
