What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“SNIP SNAP is a party game, and party games live or die by how much fun real groups have with them. We think the game is already fun to play with friends in its current state, but we want to shape the rest of it together with the people who play it. Early Access lets us listen to feedback, fix what doesn't work and build on what makes people laugh.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We don't have a fixed date for the full release. Our current estimate is around 6 to 12 months, but this depends on player feedback and on how development goes, so it may change.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“We plan to keep expanding the game during Early Access. Our current ideas include:
- More places to explore and photograph
- New ways to play
- Round modifiers that shake up the rules
- More chaos round sabotages
- Cosmetic customization
- More prompt suggestions and additional languages

These plans may change based on player feedback and on what works best in testing.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“A full game session is playable online with friends: write or pick a prompt, hunt for photos in first person, cut them apart and build an artwork, then vote and guess who made what, round after round until a winner is crowned. The current version includes several maps, a list of prompt suggestions, twist rounds, a chaos round with sabotages, an end-of-game awards ceremony and an album of your artworks.

As with any Early Access game, you may run into bugs, and features and balance may change between updates.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“We may adjust the price as the game develops. Anyone who buys during Early Access owns the game and keeps it through the full release without paying again.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We'll be active in the Steam discussions and community hub, read feedback and bug reports, and post development updates on the Steam page as the game changes. Player feedback helps us decide what to work on next.”
