About This Game

A stacking roguelite where every toy has a face

Wobblebound is a physics stacking game about small decisions and very tall towers. Watch your next shape glide into position, choose your moment, and let gravity do the rest. Find a clever fit, risk an overhang, or hold your breath as an unlikely landing settles into place.

Every climb is a new run

Climb 24 bells in three acts. After every bell, pick one of three cards: a new toy for your bag, a rescue tool, or a lucky charm that bends the rules. At the end of each act a weather boss waits: a wind cloud that blows your toys aside, a thunder cloud that rocks your tower, and a snow cloud that turns the top to ice. Or one of three newer bosses: a toy cat that bats your top toy, a drum that shakes the ground, or a sleepy moon that turns out the lights.
  • Play as one of six toymakers, each with its own bag of toys, a trick every few toys (a balloon, tar, TNT, ice, giant or tiny toys), two charms only it finds and its own ladder of harder levels. Beat bosses to open them.
  • 37 lucky charms to find, from a safety net that catches a missed toy to a bolt streak that locks your tower, and a sticker book to fill.
  • 8 harder levels to unlock, one win at a time.
  • A new daily run every day, the same for every player.
  • Earn coins at every bell and spend them at the toy shop: new toys, tools and charms, a toy out of your bag, or a gold toy that pays a coin every time it lands.
  • Give a toy in your bag a finish at the shop: heavy lead, grippy rubber, glass that pays three coins each time it lands but shatters if it falls, or sticky honey that holds where it first touches.
  • Not happy with a hand of cards or the shop's shelf? Pay coins to redraw it.
  • Push your luck before a boss climb: bet up to five coins, and if you reach the boss bell without losing a life, you get twice your stake back.
  • After each of the first two bosses, pick your route: a calm cloud, or a stormy one that blows harder and pays a hand of charms at once.
  • Twelve challenge runs with one odd rule each, from a single life to giant and tiny toys, open as you win; each one won earns its stamp.
  • Win a run, then keep climbing past the last bell with two bosses at once, and hunt for four secrets, among them a secret boss.
  • Share a run as five toys: a friend who enters them gets the same cards, bosses and toys.
  • Short on time? A quick run is the run's first part on its own: eight bells and its boss in about ten minutes.

Better with friends

One to four players side by side on one PC, with keyboard and gamepads, or online with friends.
  • Versus for two to four: race side by side to the bell, and send the leader a toy they did not ask for, or a wind, thunder or snow cloud to visit their tower. The loser of each round picks a rule for the next one, from a constant wind to giant toys.
  • Together for two to four: take turns building one tower and picking the run's cards, while a waiting player hands out the rescue tools.
  • Blame Your Friend for two to four: one shared tower in turns and three lives each. Every toy that falls on your turn costs one of yours, and the last one standing wins.
  • Party night for two to four: a playlist of races, tallest-tower rounds and Blame Your Friend, with points, a scoreboard and a trophy, plus house rules to set rounds, lives and more.
  • No friends around? Computer players in three strengths fill any seat in versus, Blame Your Friend, party night and together.
  • Online: invite friends through Steam, each with their own copy. Up to four players, together or in versus, and players on the host's PC can join in too. The free demo plays online with other demo players.

Your tower, your way

  • Choose from five drop styles: a steady sweep, a rotating carousel, spinning shapes, shapes that grow and shrink before release, or Free Aim, where you slide and turn every shape yourself.
  • Build on solid stone, a springy jelly foundation, or a balancing seesaw.
  • Use a limited supply of balloons, tar, ice and TNT to respond when your plan needs a little help.
  • Race the clock to the 4th or the 24th bell against your own best ghost and your Steam friends' ghosts, or climb as high as you can in three minutes.
  • Daily Climb: the same pieces for every player, every day.
  • Curated toy sets: a castle, stilts, a living room and chunky blocks.
  • Toy box: build freely with all 60 toys. Pick any toy from the toy chest and never run out of lives.
  • 38 trials with up to three stars: short hand-built puzzles, 30 for one player and 8 for two.
  • Earn hats for your player figures and new faces for your toys as you play.

There is always more sky

Choose a starting world and climb into an illustrated journey of cloud harbours, observatories, moonlit arches and distant stars. Ring all 24 bells of the first climb, then keep building on the very same tower in an endless ascent.

The plain climb has no countdown: play at your own pace and pause whenever you like.

AI Generated Content Disclosure

The developers describe how their game uses AI Generated Content like this:

Like many small studios, we used AI image tools for Wobblebound's painted artwork and store images. The toys' shapes, faces and physics are made in code. We wrote the English text ourselves and improved it with AI tools; the translations were made with AI. Music and sound effects come from human composers and licensed sound libraries. Screenshots and trailers show real gameplay. No AI runs while you play.
