About This Game

Not a moving wallpaper. A window that looks back.

Drag LittleOutside anywhere on your desktop and resize it however you like. Now it's a window.

Your webcam tracks the position of your head in real time. Lean left and the street outside opens up to the left; stand up and the sky drops toward the top of the frame. It's rendered with real-time off-axis projection, so it looks the way a real window does. No VR headset, just an ordinary webcam.

Three official views, 24 ambient tracks

• Modern City: towers and streets running all the way to the horizon, a whole city inside your screen

• Old European Town: cobblestones, spires and a bell tower, like living in a corner flat in the old quarter

• Forest Coast: woods that run right down to the sea, a whole coastline one glance away

Each view has 8 ambient tracks of its own, shuffled without back-to-back repeats. 24 in total.

A window that works your way

Drag and resize freely. The view widens instead of stretching. Viewing distance, field-of-view boost and your screen's physical size can all be tuned in Settings. Tuck it into a corner of your monitor while you work, or fill the screen and just zone out. Settings save automatically.

Swap the view, or build your own

Subscribe to views made by other players on the Steam Workshop. Once downloaded, they show up in the same list as the official maps and work exactly the same way.

Want to make one? The official Mod SDK comes with a UE 5.3 authoring template, a pre-baked base snapshot and packaging tools. Build the outside you imagine, then publish it to the Workshop with the SDK's upload tool.

• Version checks: if a view doesn't match your game version, you get a clear message with both version numbers

• Safety note: Workshop items contain blueprints (executable logic) written by their creators. Only subscribe to creators you trust

Your camera feed stays on your PC

Tracking runs locally on your machine in real time. The app only works out where your head is. Frames are never saved or uploaded, and tracking needs no internet connection. Stop tracking any time in Settings and the camera is released immediately.

Requires a webcam (built-in or USB). The core experience depends on it.
