About This Game

THERE IS A BOX.

It is buried somewhere inside a solid cube of one million+ blocks, in a quiet, candlelit spa hall. FIND IT. Be Happy.

Find the Box is a first-person digging game that is as calm or as chaotic as you want it.

• Take it slow: Select the no-upgrades mode and punch, breathe, repeat - a relaxing, satisfying and almost meditative experience.

• Or go fast and destructive: level up and select upgrades to create your build and demolish the cubes. Choose from a wide variety of spells & perks to experiment and create the ultimate block destroying powerhouse.

  No enemies, no fail state. Race your own best time, or the whole world.

TAKE IT SLOW

- One block at a time. Every hole stays dug: leave, come back tomorrow, and your tunnels and the box are exactly where you left them.

- Normal mode: You will get hints as to when you are getting closer and further from the box.

- Hard mode: no hints at all.

OR TEAR IT APART

Turn upgrades on and every block you break drops a token. Collect enough to level up, then pick spells and modifiers that change your playstyle: a deeper drill, a wider punch, more hamsters, faster spells. Every build plays differently, and no two runs end the same.

Prefer it pure? Turn upgrades off for the classic: just you, your hands and the box, with its own leaderboards.

Every run is timed, and the clock stops the moment you break through to the box.

- Local leaderboards: your best times for every cube size and difficulty. Chase your personal best, run after run.

- Global leaderboards: race players worldwide on Steam, per cube size and difficulty, for today, this week, this month and all time.

- The Daily Cube: the same cube for everyone, one try a day, one shared board.

- Playing with upgrades off? Pure runs get their own separate boards.

CHOOSE YOUR CUBE

- Four sizes: Standard (1 million blocks), Large (2 million), Very Large (4 million) and Humongous (8 million). Beat a size to unlock the next.

- Boxless mode: Forget the box. Instead, clear part of the cube as fast as you can: half the blocks on the smallest cube, down to a quarter on the biggest.

- Seeds: type a seed and race a friend through the exact same cube. Seeded runs stay off the leaderboards.

PLAYTIME

As long as it takes. Tear through a Standard cube in under half an hour, or make a Humongous cube in Hard mode a long, quiet project, a little each evening. The timer keeps count either way, then quietly suggests you try again.
