Why Early Access?

“Bar Owner Simulator already has its core bar-management experience in place, but many of its systems can benefit greatly from real player feedback. Early Access gives us the opportunity to improve the pacing of each night, drink preparation, customer flow, progression, economy, difficulty and overall usability while the game is still actively being developed.

We want to use this period to understand which parts of running the bar players enjoy most, which systems need further balancing or refinement, and where additional content would have the greatest impact before the full release.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We currently expect Bar Owner Simulator to remain in Early Access for approximately 3–5 months. This is an estimate rather than a fixed deadline, and the exact timing may change depending on development progress and the feedback we receive from players during Early Access.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“The full version is planned to build on the complete core bar-management loop available in Early Access with additional content, deeper progression and further polish.

During Early Access, we plan to expand the selection of drinks, equipment, furniture and customization options, improve customer variety and behaviors, refine the economy and progression, and continue improving balancing, onboarding, user interface, performance and overall quality of life.

The exact scope and priority of these improvements may evolve based on player feedback during Early Access. Our goal for version 1.0 is a more varied, refined and well-balanced bar management experience rather than a fundamentally different game.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The Early Access version is designed as a playable single-player bar management experience centered around running and developing one bar.

Players can prepare and serve drinks, take orders at the bar and at tables, manage supplies and beer kegs, collect and wash used glassware, clean the venue, earn money and tips, build their bar reputation, and reinvest their earnings into equipment, furniture and functional upgrades.

The game also includes customer behaviors and entertainment systems such as pool tables and karaoke, which add additional activities and sources of income to the nightly bar routine. The main gameplay loop is playable from opening preparation through the nightly service and business progression, while balancing, content variety and overall polish will continue to improve throughout Early Access.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“We currently plan to offer Bar Owner Simulator at a lower price during Early Access. The price may increase when the game reaches version 1.0 to reflect the additional content and polish added throughout development. Any pricing changes will be communicated to the community in advance.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We plan to actively follow player feedback throughout Early Access through the Steam Community Hub, discussions, reviews and our community channels. We will use this feedback to identify balance issues, usability problems, bugs and areas where the existing systems can be improved or expanded.

Player feedback will be especially valuable for drink preparation, customer behavior, progression, economy, difficulty and the pacing of busy nights. We also plan to share major updates and development changes through Steam announcements so players can follow the game's progress toward version 1.0.

While we have a clear direction for the game, community feedback may influence the priority and scope of updates during Early Access.”
