Why Early Access?

“I need players to experience Bloomstead in its current state. On the surface, I have built a fully functioning, relaxing farming simulator with crops, animals, and fishing. However, I need the community's help to document what happens if you play past Day 7. Early Access allows me to gather data on player experiences, balance the economy, and monitor the... anomalies happening within the simulation.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“The game will remain in Early Access for roughly 3 to 6 months (targeting early 2027). Just long enough to implement the final story acts, uncover the true ending, and finalize the escape route.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“The 1.0 version will feature the complete, finished storyline with multiple endings depending on the player's choices. Alongside the narrative, I plan to add the final levels of the Deep Mine, new craftable Platinum gear, expanded NPC dialogue, and fully flesh out the consequences of staying in the village for too long.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The core farming loop is fully playable and perfectly safe for the first few in-game days. Players can till dirt, grow and harvest 6 different types of crops, catch fish, raise livestock, and adopt pets. The village features a fully working day/night cycle and economy. The first two Acts of the underlying narrative are implemented and waiting to be triggered.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“Yes, the price will likely increase slightly upon the full 1.0 release to reflect the completed narrative, the multiple endings, and the expanded endgame content.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“I am actively monitoring the Steam Community Forums and my social media channels. I need players to report bugs, suggest quality-of-life farming improvements, and most importantly: report any strange dialogue, unusual items (like meat or bones in the dirt), or sequence breaks they encounter. Your feedback will directly influence how the final act of the game is shaped.
