Chaos Chess takes the familiar rules of chess and builds an RPG strategy game around them, where every match leaves its mark on your army.

Your pieces are more than disposable units.

Survive battles, gain experience, and turn ordinary soldiers into veterans and heroes. Develop powerful traits, shape your army over time, and create a force with its own history of victories, defeats, and unlikely survivors.

A pawn that should have fallen ten battles ago might become one of your greatest legends. Shape its story and follow its deeds across the battlefield.

Four Custom Campaigns

Chaos Chess features four distinct single-player campaigns, each built around its own mechanics and story.

Lead human forces through a war for the throne. Defend the Dwarven Heartforge as enemies close in. Explore a corrupted wasteland with the Legion in search of a lost totem. Rule the Dark Elves through choices, alliances, and battles where earlier decisions shape what happens later. All four explore chess from a new perspective.
