Illusion Remix is a cozy, psychedelic creative sandbox where you explore a museum of optical illusions, curate your own galleries, and create mesmerizing visuals that move to your music. Meet Luna, your robot curator, and discover a museum where there's always something new to make your own.

Wake the Museum

Step into a Vortex Tunnel that'll make your head spin. Ride a Haunted Swing that spins the whole room around you. Lose yourself in a mirrored Infinity Room. Discover ten extraordinary illusion experiences as you explore and bring the museum back to life. These aren't just pictures on a wall. They're real spaces you can step inside inspired by real life abstract museum experiences.

Curate Your Wing

Turn empty rooms into galleries worth exploring. Hang your favorite illusions on brass rails, arrange benches and plants, and set the lighting to create just the right atmosphere. Take commissions from Luna and your patrons, welcome visitors, and see which pieces capture their attention as your museum's reputation grows.

No timers. No fail states. Just a museum that's yours to shape, at your own pace.

Go as Deep as You Like

Start with a handcrafted preset and make something beautiful in seconds, or dive into the full editor to shape every detail of an illusion: geometry, color, motion, distortion, glow, and more.

Then make it move to your music. Map different parts of your audio to different visual parameters, and fine-tune the strength and smoothing of every reaction. Let the beat drive the motion, the bass transform the colors, or the music bend your patterns into something entirely unexpected.

When your creation is ready, bring it out of Luna's Studio and unveil it on your museum wall.

Stage a Show, Take It Anywhere

Your creations don't have to stay in the museum. In Remix Stage, arrange illusions on a beat-synced timeline, connect them with transitions, add FX hits, and build a complete audiovisual show around your favorite song.

Export videos, GIFs, and images to share your work. Turn your creations into live wallpapers for Wallpaper Engine or Lively, or run them full-screen as a music visualizer using your own tracks. Share your creations with the community through Steam Workshop.
