Why Early Access?

“Huff & Puff is playable now, but the best version of the game will come from real groups playing together online. Early Access lets us gather feedback on round pacing, pig and wolf balance, building strategies, maps, bugs, and what players enjoy most in the 3v1 chase.

We want the community involved while we continue improving the game’s content, polish, and stability.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We expect Huff & Puff to be in Early Access for about 3 to 6 months, though that may change depending on player feedback, balance needs, and the amount of polish and content we decide to add before full release.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“We plan for the full version to include more polish, improved balance, additional map and mode refinements, better onboarding, quality-of-life improvements, bug fixes, performance improvements, and more content variety.

Our goal is to use Early Access feedback to decide which improvements matter most to players before the full release.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The current version includes the core Huff & Puff gameplay loop: pigs gather resources and build shelters during the day, while the wolf trains and prepares for the night hunt. When night falls, the wolf chases the pigs, destroys shelters, and tries to capture them.

The game currently includes online multiplayer support, Steam friends lobby flow, playable pig and wolf roles, building, physics-driven destruction, multiple maps and side modes, and the main 3v1 Classic Hunt experience.

Some parts are still in development, including balance, polish, UI clarity, bug fixes, performance, and online edge cases.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“We're not planning on changing the price when we leave early access. If that changes, we'll announce it in advance.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We plan to use Steam Discussions, player reviews, bug reports, and gameplay feedback to guide development during Early Access.

We are especially interested in feedback about balance, map flow, building strategies, wolf abilities, online stability, bugs, and which modes players enjoy most. We plan to share updates and patch notes as the game improves.”

About This Game

Huff & Puff is a chaotic asymmetric multiplayer party game where three pigs build shelters by day while one wolf trains for the hunt.

When night falls, the wolf breaks loose with one goal: huff, puff, smash the shelters, catch the pigs, and drag them back to the pen. Pigs gather straw, sticks, bricks, peppers, and cauldrons to survive the night.
