About This Game

In SUSPECIES, you can be anything (literally). You can sculpt, paint, and animate yourself completely, turning into NPCs, objects, or anything you can think of. Hide in the environment and avoid getting caught in the FIND THE SUSPECTS mode or show off your talents in the SUSPECIES SHOW mode. Play online with up to 12 players per lobby.



FIND THE SUSPECTS MODE
One or more players become Agents hunting the aliens, while everyone else plays an Alien trying to blend in and avoid getting caught. Agents win if they capture all the Aliens; Aliens win if they survive.

There are two modes: NORMAL mode, where a captured Alien turns into a ghost, and INFECTION mode, where captured Aliens turn into Agents.



FIND YOUR FRIENDS
As an Agent, you search the crowd, check every corner, and catch every alien before time runs out.



HIDE IN THE ENVIRONMENT
As an Alien, you can be anything (you can make), anywhere (you can reach). Choose an NPC, then sculpt, paint, and move your alien to match. But... why copy a person when you can copy a bench? If one of you is the bench, everyone else can take a seat.



SUSPECIES SHOW MODE
Tired of hiding? Step into the SUSPECIES Show. Each round, a theme is drawn, everyone creates their masterpiece while the clock is ticking, and then you vote to decide which one deserves to win.



SOLO MODE
You sculpt and paint by yourself, competing against your friends to show who actually is the best. Vote based on any rule you decide on, and find out who is the best (or least bad).



GROUP MODE
Team up with your friends, and each of you decides which piece you want to create. One makes the head, another makes the tail or whatever you want. In the end, everyone puts their pieces together into an amazing (not) final masterpiece to compete against other teams or just within your friend group.



CUSTOMIZE YOUR ALIEN
In the lobby, you can edit your Alien at any time. Sculpt and paint, add mouths, and give it as many eyes as you want, in any size.



ANIMATE YOUR CHARACTERS
Make any movement you want using your mouse, keyframes, or even a webcam (works both as an Alien and as a disguised NPC). You can even copy your friends’ poses if you’re lazy to create the perfect dance performance or whatever movement you can think of.



HAVE FUN
Honestly, play it however you like. This game is here to let your inner child do whatever you want. Do impressive things or silly stuff, bend the rules in the game modes, and, most importantly, find ways to have fun and create memories with other people. And we really hope you enjoy it!
