Celestial Oath takes place in a mythical age following the creation of humanity and the restoration of the heavens by Nüwa, the ancient Chinese goddess of creation.

In this era, the world of the Great Wilderness is overrun by demons, monsters, and malevolent spirits. Inspired by the Five-Colored Divine Stones left behind by Nüwa, humanity embarks on an epic journey to reclaim its homeland and restore peace to the world.
