Why Early Access?

“DEAD BLIND is launching in Early Access so I can develop it alongside the community. The core gameplay, progression systems, and cooperative experience are in place, but I want player feedback to help me refine balance, difficulty, content variety, and long term progression. I'm satisfied the 'skeleton' is nicely in place, but I would like to see how the community helps inform future design decisions.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“I plan to develop DEAD BLIND in Early Access for around 12 months. However, it will remain in Early Access until I am satisfied that it's achieved its full potential.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“I plan to expand DEAD BLIND with additional maps, modes/variants, and more environmental variety. Over time, I will aim to build on the game’s core systems by implementing competitive modes where players can appear on a global leaderboard.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“DEAD BLIND currently supports 2–4 player online multiplayer and features semi procedurally generated and handcrafted environments, which is then followed by a poker match.

The core gameplay loop, progression systems, and multiplayer functionality are fully playable, with ongoing development focused on expanding content and improving balance and polish.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“Yes, I plan to gradually raise the price as I ship new content and features.”

About This Game

DEAD BLIND is a 2–4 player horror game where players enter a hostile realm in search of valuable loot before gambling everything they've earned in a winner-takes-all game of Texas Hold'em. The body parts and occult items you haul back to the elevator are converted to your table buy-in.

You have 60 seconds.

Race through procedurally generated and handcrafted environments, searching for loot while competing against other players for the best finds. Every item extracted means more money at the table, and a stronger position when the cards are dealt.

Winner takes all.

Once the looting ends, the poker begins.

Use the chips you've earned in a real game of Texas Hold'em. Read your opponents, bluff with confidence, and know when to fold. Escalating blinds force players into action, ensuring every match reaches a conclusion.

Lose all your chips and you're eliminated.

Be the last player standing and take everything.

This game contains horror themes, simulated violence, and gambling mechanics. Players who are eliminated from a match are killed offscreen by an unseen entity.
