About This Content

Hidden Legacy: Whispering Walls DLC expands the investigation with four new locations that uncover secrets buried beyond the mansion’s walls and throughout the city itself. Alongside historian Tomas Kraus, you will continue your search for the truth as every new corner of Schwarzgrunde reveals another layer of conspiracy. What once seemed like unrelated details begins to take on a sinister meaning: Heinrich Braun’s disappearance was only the beginning, while forged documents, secret societies, and those willing to erase all traces lurk in the shadows.

New evidence suggests that Braun was not merely a victim, but a participant in a complex game involving even the ancestors of Agnes von Rottenburg. Venture into the overgrown garden, the restricted library archives, a restorer’s workshop, and a hidden study where decisions that shaped the city’s fate were once made. Each location brings you closer to the truth - and deeper into a trap laid decades ago.

🔹 The Overgrown Garden

At the edge of the estate, time seems to have stood still. Overgrown flowerbeds, an ancient oak watched over by a raven with glowing green eyes, and a rusted shed with a door frozen shut by age all preserve traces of the past. Inside an abandoned greenhouse, among exotic plants and decaying glass panels, you will discover a gardener’s journal filled with sketches that hint at something far more significant than the flowers once cultivated here. Solve the hidden puzzle and uncover a clue linking the garden to Braun’s disappearance.

🔹 The Restricted Library Archives

An isolated room lined with towering bookshelves and archive cabinets, accessible only to a privileged few. Here you will uncover encrypted records belonging to the Architects’ Union, a filing system designed to conceal rather than preserve information, and forgotten posters hidden behind neglected furniture. A bust with one eye missing suggests that even in this repository of knowledge, someone carefully removed pieces of the truth. Restore the lost records and discover which documents were destroyed by those determined to keep the truth hidden.

🔹 Sophie’s Workshop

A restorer’s workshop where tools lie scattered across a workbench and a damaged painting rests on a heavy makeshift easel, awaiting restoration. Signs of hurried work are everywhere, suggesting that someone was desperate to hide the truth. This may have been the place where evidence implicating influential families was altered or destroyed. Restore the painting, uncover hidden inscriptions beneath layers of paint, and learn who commissioned the forgery.

🔹 The Hidden Study of Agnes’s Ancestor

Behind a concealed door deep within the mansion lies a private study where the fate of Schwarzgrunde was once decided. The desk is covered with encrypted notes, broken seals, and tools used to forge official documents. A carved jewelry box and a carefully mended porcelain vase hint at an owner who knew how to conceal his tracks. Decipher his records and discover that Braun did not disappear by accident - he was silenced by those who feared he would reveal the city’s true origins.

The walls of Schwarzgrunde hide more secrets than you ever imagined. Unlock every door that was once sealed and expose the conspiracy the city has tried to bury for generations. Continue the investigation where you left off - and remember: every clue brings you closer to the truth.
