Originally released in 1998, Warhammer: Dark Omen has quietly earned its place as a beloved classic in the Warhammer Fantasy universe. Its atmospheric storytelling, early use of 3D battlefields, and memorable characters left a gentle but lasting impression on many players. Decades later, it has become a cherished cult classic that players still speak of with admiration and fond nostalgia. This is the first time the game is available on Steam, with adjustments to support modern systems (see "WHAT’S INSIDE THIS RELEASE" in the section below).

About This Game

In a war-torn world, mighty armies clash to decide the fate of imperiled realms. Brave warriors march forward accompanied by fearless heroes, terrifying monsters and devastating machines of war. This edition modernizes Warhammer: Dark Omen with 4K and widescreen support, smoother visuals, and significantly improved stability. Startup issues, crashes, and compatibility problems have been fixed, and overall performance and reliability on modern Windows systems are much better than before.
