What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“Project - Labyrinth is an ambitious solo-developed dungeon-crawling RPG that blends real-time parry-based combat, card mechanics inspired by Italian blackjack (Sette e Mezzo), and dense narrative cutscenes

Early Access is crucial for me to polish and expand.

My goal with Early Access is to:

Gather feedback on combat systems — especially how players engage with parry timings, enemy attack patterns, and risk-reward mechanics tied to card draws and turn economy.

Balance progression pacing — I want to ensure dungeon layouts, enemy difficulty spikes, and rewards feel satisfying and fair without handholding.

Improve accessibility and onboarding — player feedback will help me streamline tutorials, controls, and UI flows, especially in complex areas like the shop system, deck building, or puzzle rooms.

Iterate on content updates — Early Access will allow me to test and roll out additional changes.

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“There's no fixed timeline for the full release, but we're currently developing with late 2026 as a tentative goal.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“We plan to expand on the current gameplay with deeper dungeon content and continued improvements to combat. Future updates may include new mechanics, enemies, items, and gear, building on what's already in place.

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The Early Access version currently contains the full first dungeon, with encounters, mechanics, item systems, puzzles, and bosses designed to reflect the intended experience. Dialogue and cutscenes are also included where implemented.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“We plan to gradually raise the price as we ship new content and features.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“Community feedback during Early Access will primarily be used to identify bugs, balance issues, and usability improvements. Players will be encouraged to report technical issues and provide feedback on combat flow, difficulty, and pacing.

Please leave any feedback on the Steam forums. ”

About This Game

Project - Labyrinth is a first-person dungeon-crawling turn-based RPG that blends real-time parry combat with blackjack-style card mechanics.

Players explore enemy-filled labyrinths, time precise blocks, draw and manage cards to push their advantage, and survive brutal battles that test both reflexes and strategy.

The game’s core loop revolves around anticipating attacks, countering with perfect timing, and cashing in calculated card risks to break enemies before they break you. Fans of turn-based Rpgs will feel right at home.

This is a game for players who crave intensity, precision, and experimentation—not just polish for polish’s sake. While Project - Labyrinth will continue to grow in content and complexity, what’s already here is fully playable, highly re-playable, and unapologetically bold in its design.

I trust players to decide if it’s worth the risk.

AI Generated Content Disclosure

The developers describe how their game uses AI Generated Content like this:

It uses every kind of AI, and I'm proud to use it. I edit the art in photoshop and make things AI can't but I still use AI.

I learned to code with AI, and have complex methods and coroutines, public bools, private voids, you name it, I have Managers Galore, and modular systems that work.

I can use AI to make this.

Mature Content Description

The developers describe the content like this:

Its a deep dark Labyrinth, blood, violence, gore, and stuff expected.
