What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“We’re building a systems-driven medieval kingdom sim where daily choices ripple through economy, church, military, and the people. Early Access lets us balance those systems with real player data, iterate on events and quests, and prioritize the features the community actually uses.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“Our goal is about 6–12 months. That window may shift based on feedback and scope changes, but we’ll keep players updated with transparent dev posts.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“More throne-room events/NPC types (casino-style randomization with rare specials)

Expanded Treasury/Church mechanics, advisor tiers (shady/okay/good) and automation durations

Military depth: expeditions (Anno-style narrative events), defense pressure scaling, upgrades

Faction storylines (Church vs. Mages vs. People) with reputation caps and unique quests

Achievements, dynasty system, late-game survival pressure, optional DLC hooks

Better onboarding (skippable intro scenarios), UI/UX polish, performance passes”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“Core loop playable: 20-minute days, 3 throne-room cases/day, daily income & expenses, deficits, riots/risks

Treasury, Church tithe, and basic reputation (People/Church/Mages) functioning

Early expeditions as text/image events; several starter quests; autosaving across levels

Intro tutorial, basic cinematics, keyboard/mouse controls

Stable on our test hardware; optimization and content breadth still in progress”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“We plan to increase the price as we add major content and systems. Buying in Early Access supports development and includes all updates to 1.0.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“Public roadmap with upvoteable feature/cards

Monthly balance/content patches; detailed changelogs

In-game telemetry (opt-in) to tune economy, spawn rates, and event rarity

Dedicated Steam discussions for bug reports and suggestions; polls for next event packs

Save-compatible test branches for trying new systems before they hit main”

About This Game

About this product

Dadi Kingdom is a darkly humorous medieval management game about power, scarcity, and consequences. You sit on the throne, hear petitioners, pass judgment, and pay the price: the coffers stay tight, threats grow, and the world remembers everything. At night, events echo your daytime decisions—quietly or brutally.

Beyond the throne room the world opens up: explore, fight, and complete quests independent of your daily rulings—in villages, forests, and ruins. Loot and reputation feed directly into the treasury, the military, and the factions; nights summarize it all and carry the consequences into the next day.

You balance reputation, bonuses, and story paths between Church, Mages, and People. If you gear up late, the pressure will hit you twice as hard later. Expeditions unlock narrated events beyond the castle; you make the calls, take the risks, and bring home the rewards. On paper you rule— in truth you fight for your realm’s survival. Fail, and your reign ends in revolt or bankruptcy.
