“A. The Early Access version includes gameplay up to Stage 2 and will be available at a slightly discounted price.
B. The full release is planned to feature a total of six stages, with a target window between late 2026 and early 2027.
C. We’re also planning a free update in 2027 that will add a “spin-off stage” set in the same universe.

1. About Collecting Feedback

KILL THE WITCH is a game built around a hardcore design—
not only in terms of difficulty, but also in its storytelling and presentation.

My aim is to create an experience of “enjoyable hardship.”

I want you to feel those moments where,
after repeating a section again and again, you might start resenting the developer—
only to feel the rush of finally breaking through with your own hands.

I want the story to betray your expectations in meaningful ways,
to encourage you to guess, question, and interpret,
and ultimately to become a mirror where you might catch a glimpse of yourself.

In this Early Access version, we will be listening closely to your feedback on the content up to Stage 2
and actively applying it as we shape the stages that follow.

2. About Securing Development Funds

Our team, SnakeEagle, is based in South Korea and consists of just two people—
myself and our composer/sound designer. We’re a very small indie team.

Because of that, we don’t actually need a large budget.

Creating KILL THE WITCH is something I would pursue even without getting paid—
it’s a project that carries deep personal meaning for me.

All revenue earned through Early Access will be used solely to build the version of KILL THE WITCH I envision,
and to ensure that the game can stand on its own as an indie title until the very end.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We currently expect the Early Access period to last for about 1 to 1.3 years.
(The full release is targeted for late 2026 to early 2027.)”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“The Early Access version will include content up to Stage 2,
while the full release is planned to feature all six stages.
The overall presentation, story, and gameplay quality will also be further enhanced in the full version.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The current Early Access version allows you to play up to Stage 2.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“Yes. The game will be offered at a discounted price during the Early Access period,
and the price will be adjusted upon full release.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We plan to actively gather your feedback through the Steam Community and our official Discord server, and reflect it in development.

OFF, Cave Story, Momodora, and Touhou Project, to name a few.
