Why Early Access?

“The coffeehouse is open and six games are ready to play, but there are more tables on our list. We want to shape new games and bot characters with player feedback: let's decide together which game comes next and how tough the bots should be.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“About 6–12 months. We plan to add a new game to the tables with each major update.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“Before the full release we plan to add Batak (including team play), Pis Yedili and more coffeehouse games, along with more bot characters and lines and new table and card styles. We may also add new languages based on player requests.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“Six games are fully playable: Okey, 101 Okey, Backgammon, Kız Tavlası, Pişti and Yekta, each with its own tutorial table. 36 bots with memory, tables with friends over Steam, chips and table bets, treats, titles, 74 achievements, Steam leaderboards and 14 languages are all in.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“The price will be lower during Early Access and may rise somewhat at full release. Early buyers get every future update for free.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“On the Steam community and our social media we'll talk about which table comes next, maybe even put it to a vote, and address bug and balance reports in every update. We'll share surprise codes there too.”

About This Game

Mahalle Kıraathanesi brings the warmth of the corner coffeehouse to your screen. The tables are set, the tea is brewing and the regulars are in their seats. Pull up a chair.

[*][b]Okey:[/b] the rack, the indicator, finishing with pairs; in teams or solo.

[*][b]101 Okey:[/b] open with 101 or five pairs, lay tiles on the sets, dodge the penalty.

[*][b]Backgammon (Tavla) and Kız Tavlası:[/b] a walnut board, rolling dice, gammons.

[*][b]Pişti:[/b] grab the pile, score a pişti, sweep it with a Jack for 20 points.

[*][b]Yekta:[/b] match colors and numbers, dodge the penalties; the coffeehouse's very own card game.

[h2]Regulars who remember you[/h2]

There are 36 bots at the tables and no two are alike. Grudging Kemal never forgets a pişti, Calculating Hakan counts every card, Rookie Cem gets all excited. Bots tease you and answer back; provoke them and they get angry, make it up to them and they soften. The bot you upset at Okey today will remember you at Backgammon tomorrow.

Set up your table and invite friends through Steam. Bots fill the empty chairs; at most tables a bot takes over for anyone who leaves, so the game goes on. No subscription, no servers to worry about.

Every game has its own tutorial table: a regular sits beside you and teaches you by playing. Hints are on for your first matches.

The coffeehouse is open, and more tables are coming: Batak, Pis Yedili and more are next.

AI tools were used solely during the development process. The game does not generate content using artificial intelligence while it is being played.
- A portion of the program code was written with the help of AI coding assistants; it was subsequently reviewed and tested by the developers.
- Translations into other languages ​​and certain in-game texts (such as chat lines for bots) were drafted using artificial intelligence; these were then reviewed and edited by the developers.
