Why Early Access?

“Hotel Galactic is a big undertaking for a self-publishing team like ours. From the very beginning we planned to release the game in the Early Access model as we believe it works best for this genre and type. We value actual player feedback above most else and are eager to work with the community to shape Hotel Galactic into the best it can be.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“While we don't have a specific date in mind, we roughly plan to spend about 1-2 years in Early Access. One thing that we know is that we don't want to leave EA too soon.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“Our intention for the full version is to include all 3 acts of the main story, featuring 6+ custom VIP visits and 12 alien species (serving as both guests and workers). Among the bigger features - we've got plans for the Mining System, Crature Kinship (your own farm animals!) and Expeditions with more rooms, items, interactions and QoL improvements on top of that.

We plan to reveal the projected development roadmap soon after our Early Access release.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The launch version of Hotel Galactic features the first act of the main story in the target quality that we've set for ourselves. Throughout this part of the story, you'll encounter 6 different alien races, many interesting NPCs and the first VIP visit. Aside from that you've got the Sandbox mode where you can explore the Research Tree and build up your hotel ignoring the questline.

As for the major features, the launch build includes: crafting, farming, cooking custom recipes, resource processing, coloring items, changing floors and walls in rooms, worker equipment, worker mentorship, leveling up worker skills, research system, merchant (buying and selling items).”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“Although we have nothing set in stone yet, it is likely that the price will increase once we draw closer to the end of the Early Access period.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We're already closely monitoring all the mentions and discussions about Hotel Galactic, be it on our official Discord server, the Steam forums or out there on the web. Your opinions and thoughts on the game are crucial to us, as we want you to have an unforgettable experience with Hotel Galactic.

Your feedback shapes the game in real ways, and we've already implemented a lot of the things that we've seen mentioned in the reviews and comments for the earlier demo version.
