What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“We believe, that making games alone is hard and boring. That's why we start with Early Access. We hope, that we can get a lot of good feedback, but also your opinions about this game. No matter, if it's a bad or good opinion. We will read them all and take the appropriate measures.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“As everyone says: when it's finished. We plan to release a new update every few weeks, so the game should be fully released at the end of 2019 or at the beginning of 2020. Of course, everything can change during development.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“The full release will have much more content for sure. We plan to add a competitors system, so the player doesn't feel alone. We also plan to add the following features: materials, more missions, more planets, capsules, a weather system and a lot more. As you can see, we are going to make this game more like a company management tycoon.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“EarthX already has all the fundamental features required to add more new and advanced features. All key features are listed in the store description.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“Yes, we plan to gradually raise the price as we ship new content and features.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We will read reviews, feedback and our discord server every day. Then we will make some notes and design the best possible way. This is an Early Access game, the changes can be really fast and dynamic.”

“While still in the early stages of early access I think EarthX is on the right path to being a good business strategy game.”

About This Game

Are you crazy?

You are a very young and inexperienced CEO, so you decide to risk and start your own space startup in 2002. You invest practically all your money in the first few starts, on which depends whether you become bankrupt or destroy the entire competition from the market.

Although nobody gave you any chance or trust, the first start was successful. You have gained a little bit of trust in the eyes of your customers, by the way, collecting some funds for the further development of new technologies that will make your rockets even cheaper.

Speaking of cheapness. You are a government bureaucrat and you launch your rocket worth several hundred million dollars, and then you watch it burn in the atmosphere. A view comparable to setting a bag of money on fire.

Then it stuns you... If only there was some way to recover the very expensive part, which the engine is. That's when you start investing in first-stage rocket landing technology.

The competition is stealing more and more contracts from you, you have less and less funds, but you are still investing in recoverability. You are on the verge of bankruptcy again, no one sees the light at the end of your path... no one believes you can land a rocket.

Monday, December 21, 2015. Your rocket has just fired up the engines and is rising. As soon as you have completed your mission to launch the payload into orbit, you will once again attempt to land on the ground. Previous ones have been a disaster, causing many fires and explosions. But not this time, oh, no. This time everything goes according to plan, the rocket deploys its landing legs and the grid fins control its trajectory. It landed. Shortly afterwards you managed to land again. You started to regain trust, you could offer lower prices than your competitors, so you started to win contracts again. But you didn't stop there. You improved your technology even further until you became unrivaled. Billions on your account, dead competition. You have won.
