“"Infected: The Twin Vaccines is a unique and interesting game, especially for its often formulaic genre. The atmosphere is eerie, the hidden object scenes and puzzles are entertaining and the bonus chapter adds an unexpected twist to both gameplay and narrative."”

Like many hidden object games, The Twin Vaccine makes absolutely no sense. You have debris all around the place, yet you can only use one specific item (baseball) to break a window. You have a sledgehammer, yet you have to find oil to unjam a car door to reach inside. The story is kinda interesting, but you lose interest fast when the game is nonsense.

Good game to kill some time, story is good and the entire game is made from real photos with real actors. No bugs, great atmosphere and hard enough to add some longevity. Its not worth the full price, get it with a bundle instead. Overall i enjoyed it and i recommend it to every point and click lover.

In short, this game is like a free flash "adventure" game from a well known flash games website, but with budget and pretty high quality behind it. It looks okay, it sounds okay and it even plays okay for what it is. The problem lies with what it is.
I'll be honest, I've finished the game just out of sheer curiosity - to learn how far into absurdity it will venture, It gets quite far. If you've never played those flash "adventure" games (and yes, I am trying to point out how hard it is to call those games adventure games) - you stumble around different screens-areas and search for items which you will then use in some place that has some vague logic behind it, but not really, and then you get another object you need to use in some other place. All that accompanied by a throwaway story, silly dialogue and bad voice acting. Now, some of the games like this kinda justify the insanity of item locations by going into mystic/horror/surreal territory, but Infected tries to take a more "realistic" approach. So when you find signs in tombstones, which then can be hang onto boxes which magically open... Even Resident Evil never went that far, you know?
And really, for this insanity, for this "oh wow, really?" every 5 seconds you get from this game, I might even recommend it, if you get this at a super low price/in a bundle/or someone gifts it to you for some reason. Otherwise, unless you are a fan of games like these, and want a higher quality game, than what you can find in thousands for free, I don't see how you can be interested in buying or wasting any time on this game.

Can't recommend with such a short story and a price at $14. I beat the game with just 3.5 hours on it. The story is good, but not good enough to cost so much for so little. Go buy Still Life instead. $10 and I have 25 hours on it and still have yet to beat it. You can buy Still Life 1 and 2 and get Post Mortem as well for $20 and it's a much better buy than this.
